Yeah, but I was hoping there'd be a bit more luster to them. Sort of like the Catseye stones or other semi precious stones. They look more like plastic eggs and less like shining gems. You'd get better ones on etsy for a fraction of the price.
Really late but they aren't comic accurate. The gems were translucent and glowed in the light, which can easily be replicated with translucent plastic. The infinity gauntlet piggy bank is a clear example of the gems done right

(pretty hardcore Mega Man X fan) and everybody else came out looking fine, X looked NOTHING like he did on the packaging. his helmet was off center, his eyes were off, his face was messed up... he looks fine from a distance, but if you look closely at him.. ugh. my Jazwares line of X toys are more spot on that that and people make fun of how bad those are all the time.
I would say the statues seem to be around the 20$ mark each at most given their overall quality. Some seem to bash their looks while forgetting amiibos, Skylanders, and marvel figures pricing. It doesn't quite match up to say 50$ deluxe statues though. Unfortunately, the pics used for pushing sales edited the shots too well, so expectations just aren't met. However, they do seem to fare better than the Infinity Stones which are "Easter egg" quality. I hope if you got the collectors edition you liked the statues and most importantly, the steelbook game with DLC content coming later.

The problem with the gems isn't the gems themselves, it's the promotional picture for them. They actually DO look just like how they do in the comics (although I wish they has gone for a more glass-like look than a solid one) but the promo picture looks nothing like what you get. Google "infinity gems" and you'll see that that is what they look like.
Imagine putting your gem case on display, people ask and u tell them it’s the infinity gems, they ask “are you sure?” And you just feel shitty inside and have to explain to them u paid 200 dollars for a case of plastic Easter eggs that you can’t take out.
If you look up the collector's edition page the infinity stones look like real gems not easter eggs. Plus the game is crap with it's shitty roster. MvC 2 will always be the best game in the series.

Example, the first Fallout 4 Pip-boy Edition was horrendously cheap and way overpriced. Yet people lost their damn minds and went into a frenzy to obtain them. People refused to admit they were cheated, some even pretended they were satisfied with the plastic "Pip-boy" glorified phone case. Compared to the Fallout 4 one, this MvC one is slightly better. But still, don't buy collector's editions unless you know exactly what you're buying. Oh, and the recent Destiny CE is downright stupid - and it's $50 more than this MvC CE. Again, people are biased and they pick and choose what to hate.
