Think this is the first time I've seen you here in the Bronx since first watching you! Though should've mentioned the names of the bridges in view--the Henry Hudson and Broadway bridges--since this is near Riverdale, which also has the 1 train close by. The apartments definitely look good, and the outdoor space everywhere is a definite plus, I just slightly worry about the price for the area, though it seems a bit reasonable given it's Riverdale. (Would love to see more affordable spots in Astoria and LIC as those come up, though. :P)

Happy to see that the one bedrooms were Not offered at just under 1,200 per person-------3 people splitting the 3,500 monthly rent. And where would the 2nd and 3rd person sleep in the one bedroom???? The first apartment, quite luxurious, was 7,000 monthly rent------typical NY pricing.
I would never live in that building, for so many reasons. The noise from the bridge is horrendous, the location is very remote from businesses, and the owner is reviled in the community for tearing down the beautiful Villa Rosa in order to construct this eyesore.
I knew there were nice places in the Bronx! Absolutely beautiful views. Still out of my price range as a teacher, but great to see. Are there more affordable, yet safe and clean apartments in the Bronx? Hope to see some!

I am a very very long time resident of New York City. Thank you for showing some decent stuff especially in the Bronx. The Bronx does not get the recognition it deserves. I remember the days back in the 1970s when the South Bronx was burning to the ground and 80% of the housing stock was destroyed by fire. Thanks to rent control laws and landlords could not keep up maintenance on their pre-war old buildings.
The South Bronx is still burning, but not with fire. I was looking for an apartment in 2018 trying to run from Manhattan's high prices and I decided to stay exactly where I am. I view an apartment and two days later a group of men killed a teen with machetes. I had a nightmares. This is Riverdale the $$$ part of the Bronx.
Good afternoon Cash. Hope the family is well. Love these apartments. Are they still going to have apartments that normal wage people can afford without having to share with others or for families that don't make that type of money or is NY just looking to get rid of those people. I mean I understand that the higher the rent the least likely will get people who are going to wreck the place. And they need to stop the beautiful views to get more money because those views are supposed to be free for everyone. Have a great day.
I've been living in this part of the city for a year, if you don't have to go to Manhattan for work (which is a nightmare because it would take you at least an hour) - it's an awesome place to live. Very quiet and bunch of parks near by. Also you could take a metro north train for weekend gateways
Finally, apartments that are worth their price! I like the geometric rooms; quirky and a fun challenge to decorate. This place has everything going for it, including not only in-unit laundry but a common laundry in the building as well. The balconies are great too; some of the so-called balconies in other places we've seen recently were a real joke.
It's a blessing to have auxiliary laundry facilities in case one of the machines in your apartment go down. Imagine having an armload of wet clothes and your dryer won't work!
@@FrankiesFancy I've been there! Off to the laundromat 4 blocks away (inner city/no car) to dry my clothes. Having back-up laundry is such a cool feature of this building.

I was slowly moving away from coming back to Manhattan, the rents are getting ridiculous, especially when you see what's right outside the city, like this beautiful building.
Just when I was about to give up hope, you showed these apts and I'm in love with each and every one of them. Wow!!!
Oh my God this area is beautiful that pizza look good
i love the bronx :) most amount of parks and the culture is legit. also best graffiti in NYC
I know this completely crazy but all your posts make me want to pack my things here in Atlanta and just move to NYC. I moved back home to the ATL from Kailua Hawaii. My mother was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away last year. Having a job I can definitely do anywhere with anyone in the stone industry is a very tempting too. All those updated kitchens and bathrooms is exactly what I do. Just wanted to say thank you for making me fall in love with the inside of New York City!
Beautiful place,, great kitchens and baths, love the laundry unit in each apartment,, & nice to have some outdoor space.
This is one of the best I have seen. Great views & nice area. Prices on the 1 bedrooms were not bad. This was a hit with me.
Bronx born and bred! I love my hometown.
This new building and beautiful apartments were a surprise. The $7000 2 bed, 2 bath was way too expensive, but the 1 beds were both much more affordable and quite spacious. Loved that the kitchen appliances were the same in all of them. The area is lovely.
Yankee Stadium is in the Bronx and that is an added benefit if you rent this place.
Just don't go to a night game.
@@thecatatemyhomework why
Why does the Bronx get a but?? This is Spuyten Duyvil, one of the best areas of NYC. This is supposed to be a lottery building, supposed “affordable housing.” Income minimum is $65,000+.
Exactly but it's because the media and what people think the bronx is . I'm from there I love it so much
How do I apply ?
It has a bad reputation. 65k is a good deal
How is that pronounced?
I live in Kingsbridge Heights right above Spuyten Duyvil and just east of Riverdale. It's lovely here.
Rarely am i blown away by apartments but these were truly amazing! love the view as well, beautiful bridge that is
Winner winner chicken dinner!!! Love love love. These builders got it right. And you are speaking my love language with the view (water and sunsets)
The Bronx has many beautiful places!
Thank you so much for sharing this !!! Love seeing somewhere else . Seeing the world without leaving the house
Bro, this is by far my favorite area you’ve shown us so far! That last apartment is one of my favorites ever as well! I’d totally live in the Bronx if I decided to come live in NY! Beautiful area!
Bronx is incredibly dangerous!!!! I dated a guy from Washington Heights just the next town over. Crime has gone way way way up. Shooting literally every week and violence in the subway. I work in NYC but live in NJ. I commute by train 🚊 People outside of NYC have no idea! Smh 🤦♀️
@@accesstotheredcarpet
You’re right…I definitely have no idea being from Arkansas lol but this video showcased a beautiful side of it for sure!
New neighborhood! Thank you for showing us just about everywhere in NYC!
That view of the Hudson is spectacular. It's like living on the edge of NYC with a view of upstate NY.
Cash, you struck gold again. I have never visited the Bronx and always thought that it was not a nice or safe place to live. I was so wrong. These apartments are excellent. I'd be happy in either of the one beds. Where do I sign. Well I would if I didn't live in Scotland!
That's what the media tells you yes there is crime in The Bronx but not all of the Bronx is bad or gritty like the TV and movies make it out to be
Nah, the bronx is crazy! Be careful if you ever decide to visit.
@@takeiteasytigerny we can say the same about Brooklyn queen's and Manhattan the only borough that never has much say is Staten Island
And here I am wishing I could move to Scotland. It's a funny old world.
@@takeiteasytigerny I’ve lived in the Bronx for years it is no crazier than the rest of New York
These are genuinely awesome apartments. I was born in the boogie down Bronx and would live there again in a heartbeat.
Hello Cash. The Dakota was built in the 1800's.
I know I’m the old lady that loves you and your Sink Sprayers. You are a doll and I so enjoy your videos.
Thank you❤️
I would 💯 live in this apartment!
The Bronx is so cool and the area is gorgeous
Thanks Cash ❤
Love how light and quite spacious it is, lots of greenery outside, the air should be fresher there too.
In the same bed with you, in a two wage earner home?
Great building and apartments. Decent prices too. The views are excellent. Love the neighborhood. Enjoyed.
I would never live in that building, for so many reasons. The noise from the bridge is horrendous, the location is very remote from businesses, and the owner is reviled in the community for tearing down the beautiful Villa Rosa in order to construct this eyesore.
Finally you got to the Bronx nice I love it❤️
Hey people that's the wealthy part of the Bronx. I love Riverdale. Low crime, beautiful area.
I love your channel. Besides the great places you show us, it's your fun personality and funny comments (🤣🤣🤣) that keep me coming back for more!!
I knew there were nice places in the Bronx! Absolutely beautiful views. Still out of my price range as a teacher, but great to see. Are there more affordable, yet safe and clean apartments in the Bronx? Hope to see some!
Yeah yeah i love this neighborhood! It's incredibly quiet and the views from upper floors and even lower floors are great. After all , it's on a hill! The metro-North station is so close to that building you could crawl there and the station is right on the water
Beautiful view!
The view is incredible!
I'd like to see you your a unit in Gravesend Village in Brooklyn. One of my ancestors was an original settler there when it was still under Dutch control. I'm curious to see how the place looks.
I love that first penthouse, I'm in Australia and I've always thought The Bronx was a poor area. That's what happens when you watch movies. Thanks for giving such a different perspective of an area Cash. It's lovely.
Shower cleans everything but your mind 👍
I'm so glad you've showcased this part of The Bronx. It's beautiful there. People give The BX such a bad name, but there are parts that are amazing. Thank you for this video. The apartment is gorgeous ❤
Check out the crime statistics for The Bronx -- you will see that The Bronx deserves its bad name.
That part of the Bronx doesn't have a bad name.
@@mariee.5912 yes and we intend to keep it that way 😉
They still do if you’re in the wrong area. Crime has gone way up now.
@@rockinrollmuzack I hope so, because NY is crazy.
Very nice apartments, the views are fantastic.
This is Spuyten Duyvil. (Dutch for 'In Spite of the Devil') It's bounded by Riverdale, Marble Hill, and Kingsbridge all of which are residential, far to the north, and a world away from the South Bronx.
Would you make the same "but it's the Bronx" comment about Riverdale?
Thanks for the historical info.
@@judithminott1212 More historical info: Marble Hill is part of Manhattan even though it has a Bronx zip code and area code. If called for jury duty and you live in Marble Hill you serve in Manhattan not The Bronx.
@@richardhaas39
Please re-read the comment.
"It's bounded by Riverdale, Marble Hill, and Kingsbridge, all of which are residential..." I did not say it was located IN the Bronx, as "bounded by" is not the same as located in. Thanks for sharing.
My neighborhood!! Love that last apt, fantastic views during summer sunsets.
The area looks pretty amazing. Lovely old buildings, lots of greenery. Also: shoutout to the guys n gals that did the staging for the building and the 1 bedroom appt. Good to see that the 60s/70s style is coming back. Feels homey and timeless.
Congratulations on home ownership! It is so nice to see a unit that isn't overly cluttered
Cash should show us his new place when he gets and is moving in that would be fun it call it my cash’s new place vlog 🤣👏🏾😃👏🏾
Come back tomorrow
Great area to live. Let's however, not underestimate the continuous noise from the bridge! Still...GREAT place
Riverdale & sputter duvil are amazing, welcome to my borough. CASH you last 5 videos tours have been amazing .
Thanks!!
I’m glad you’re showing the Bronx. I grew up there and had a wonderful upbringing. The Bronx has beautiful places and close to Manhattan. Thanks !
This is 4 Sure Gonna B so Good CJ🔥🔥🔥👍….
the Bronx has a lot of waterfront properties, East River, Hudson River , Harlem River , Long Island Sound even the Bronx and Hutcheson Rivers and don't forget City Island . It was a wonderful place to grow up seventy years ago. People would be amazed.
Looks amazing. Being in the UK all I know of the Bronx is from tv and films. Always makes me laugh when comments are made about really old property being from the 1800’s. Pretty much the same age as my house 😁 …. Lovin the videos Cash, thank you 🙌👍🤘
I am a very very long time resident of New York City.
The bronx is a shithole though. Nobody would want to live there if you can get something safer and even cheaper.
Beautiful place and the surrounding building and trees are magnificent!
"One of the oldest buildings you'll ever see." Waiting for the wave of laughter from our friends overseas. ; )
"This is one of the oldest buildings you'll ever see."
Me: Ooh, was it built in the colonial era?
"This church was established in 1888."
Me:
Finally the Bronx. You should check more apartments out in this part of the city.
It's amazing. Right in my own backyard. Too bad I missed running into you. Spuyten Duyvil. Their pizza is good.
I've been living in this part of the city for a year, if you don't have to go to Manhattan for work (which is a nightmare because it would take you at least an hour) - it's an awesome place to live. Very quiet and bunch of parks near by. Also you could take a metro north train for weekend gateways
1 hour from Manhattan Riverdale? You just need to take the 1 train and a bus depending where you live. Unless you're in Yonkers. 🤔
maybe try taking that same exact train which takes a mere 25 minutes to get to GCS.
The million dollar views it commands? Priceless!
