People need to recognize that the skydiver at 1:08 enduring a 2-outer was smart enough to not chop away his main parachute. That decision saved his life.
Na that private is just an over achiever gotta be first every time First on the ground. First through the door. First in the fight. Guys never been second in his life.
It's impressive how you've cultivated such keen observational skills and resilience. How did you first realize you were hearing impaired, and what was that moment like for you?
Ugh. So tired of the videos where the person obviously did the thing 12,822 times and finally made it once. That's not luck, that's just the rules of probability at work. Done with those. Fast forward to actual luck.
7:07 Tip for future Thors: Thunder and lightning do not appear at the same time unless very very close to you. In that shot I'd expect a delay of about two seconds.
1:12 “…Stand up, Hook up, Shuffle to the door! Jump right out and count to 4. If my chute don’t open wide, I’ve got another by my side! If that one don’t open too, I’ll reach the ground before you do!”
11:30 I actually did that once when I was cashing out at my old job in a liquor store. But just from tossing down the pile of nickels to be counted (yes, by hand), and a singular one bounced and landed like that.
Seriously. These kids that do the same thing 1000 times to get it right once aren't lucky, they're dumb. When we were kids, we had to get it right the 1st time or you were shit out of luck. Lol. No cell phone cameras to make us look good.
16:50 Had something like that happen in my school gym back in the day. Difference was our basketball hoops folded forward, so hoop above the backboard--not below like in this clip. Not claiming I did it, but watched it happen with another teen.
The thumbnail with the big gas bottle. I'm from a small mining town in north of England. My dad and uncle(both dead now) were mechanics, they'd fix cars to on driveways and no taxes etc. They'd weld, spray, pretty much everything. Back in them days and in such a poor area they had a lot of custom. While transporting an engine and some welding gear, an acetalyne bottle fell while they were both sat in the back of a flatbed(to stop this happening) my uncle jumped to grab it but being heavy pulled him over the valve hit the engine and shot him across the back and onto the road, my dad said he was screaming at him to "just leave go you f***king idiot" and he luckily ended up in a bush, with the bottle flying into a field of maize or corn or something (they were mechanics not farmers and my dad said it was nearly as tall as him) they laughed about this all their life with my dad always saying he thought he'd lost his brother, so don't think they exaggerated it much.
The guy finding money reminds me of something that happened while I was in the navy. There was a door well on the outside of our office, it was fall and leaves had started filling it, so I got stuck with cleaning it out...I found a ten dollar bill--a couple of the more vocal refused to believe my luck, but that was good for a night out for me. Every time I see a clip where someone nearly gets bitten because they put some part of themselves past a barrier, I have to wonder how often they don't luck out like this. Something to not be so impressed with are the clips that show someone throwing things by themselves. The guy says "first time"...but I guarantee you he made multiple attempts, and just said "first time" every time. I like to watch these setup videos get debunked. Not saying flukes don't happen, or that no one ever has the skill to pull off amazing shots, but many/most of the ones that aren't recorded in front of a bunch of people are faked that way. If I felt up to it, I'd make some videos of this sort, but it's too much work for so little gain.
Do you think they had a screening process to determine the number of yokes in side? What are the odds they'd be filming in that 25 million to one moment?
Well, some of these are dumb... like all that basketball stuff. But I like the way replays and commentary are kept to a minimum. Show me the funny and get on to the next one. Its a good way to do a clips video.
I actually found money like that at the grocery parking lot once. Kept finding random bills and then I found the wad they came from , around 300$ by the end
I found a roll of cash in my office parking lot one morning - pretty substantial. There was also a baggy of white powder and some drug paraphernalia and my building is next to a highway side motel so I just pocketed the cash and tossed the rest.
Anyone else feel like trick shot clips shouldn't be in a "Lucky people" video? "Oh look, I finall nailed this shot that I've been trying for the last several hours or even DAYS (and also rather sneakily said "First shot" at the beginning of every single attempt of). HOW LUCKY!" I feel like there's a famous quote out there explaining that perfectly. "Anything is possible if you try hard enough"? I dunno...
nothing like this guy won on the slot machine, but I won $500 on spin till you win at Laughlin one time, that was pretty exciting, because I hardly ever won more then $10 when I went.
We never saw the last guy actually win the $14,425. You cut it off too early!
People need to recognize that the skydiver at 1:08 enduring a 2-outer was smart enough to not chop away his main parachute. That decision saved his life.
He is a US Paratrooper. There is no cutting away, pull your reserve and hope you are high enough for it to inflate.

I"ve see quite enough videos of people sinking basketballs and flipping water bottles thank you very much.
Could you maybe scream “I’m a millennial pansy who gets bored instantly” a little louder?
@@ryandubyah2345 Sorry to hear your parents were siblings.

You're minds gonna be blown when you look up the etymology of luck
It's just stunning to see the amount of boredom during the lock down that added up to many of these extreme examples of luck
6:18 Pauze here. For the pigtail guy.😂
Don't be too amazed by those basketball shots since we don't know how many times it was attempted before getting the basket.
"1 in a million shot!"
"Actually, it took me almost 2 million..."
If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all 😂
I feel you on this one 😅
i like your video. thanks
nice , no unnecessary replay after each vid. subscribed
1:10 "first to touch the ground gets a free weekend!" "Sir, yes Sir!"
Is it “luck” if you’ve practiced it 100 times and only submitted the successful attempt? 🙄
😊
good and meaningful video
You don't win "ON ACCIDENT" when gambling. 🎰🎰🎰😂

Don't most people learn that at about six years old.
👍👍
It might take hundreds of tries at those trick shots before they get that winning shot!
The footage of the possessed doll was the scariest thing I've ever seen. Those scary moments caught on camera felt like they were watching me
@9:28 his cute little clap and he shoots 8/10!!! Future NBA star!
Love every bit of this video!

If you dumb enough to mess with a croc then you must be ready to lose to a croc. This is a PSA from a Floridian.
When the office staff is that excited about getting off work early, I think you have a big problem.
The lightning that almost hit the woman @8:59 was near me in Rapid City, SD
When it had no flaps there wouldn't be danger !
i think the parachutist also needs new underwear along with a new parachute
Am I the only one glad and disappointed at the same time, the parachute opened in time?

I'm so lucky, sitting still and bad stuff happens to me. That's how lucky I am. 😑

Simple things amuse simple minds...🙄
A lot of these aren't so much luck as reaction time, preparedness, or practice.

Most of these are skills, not luck
Quit showing replays. We saw it the first time.
Arcade games are such a scam these days its aint luck its retribution lol
