@@oldguyandabike good question. Its from kung fu panda. Im sure youve seen it but its actually a retelling of an old Chinese fable. Bruce lee also did a movie about it called 'circle of iorn' in the 70s i think. Only the producers wouldn't let him star in it because he looked too 'oriental'. But if you want you can Google 'universe juice kung fu panda'. You will like it im sure 👍
I have ti and carbon and I go back and forth on which has the better ride . After couple years of riding, the winner is - - - Ti ! Solid feeling ride , holds chain line better , more one with the bike 😑
Cannot really go wrong with either bike. Carbon does not speak to me so went with the Turner and have been really happy. The ARTi rides great with good power transfer, responsive without being twitchy, and does a good job with smoothing out crappy asphalt. I do not race anymore and just ride for the joy of it. If I wanted to, could take this bike on the local group ride without a worry. Have not thrown on bigger tires to see how it handles off road yet. Dave at Turner was great to work with on the purchase and just talking biking in general.
Thanks...glad it helped. I am working towards a 1000 mile update, but I rode this morning and I am so pleased with the ADHX build. It really is a stunning bike for my needs. Could not be happier.
I've always been a huge Turner fan and have owned a few with the last being a Sultan 29'er. It's sad to see the production go overseas since there are other US made ti frames on the market. My go to ride is a Litespeed Watia built with Campy Ekar and it does everything quite well. It's also my international travel bike for the reasons you mentioned. That said, I'm looking for a new climbing bike and Time bikes is the front leader right now. They're also bringing frame production to the US here in my backyard so that's another reason. Same reason I'll be running Boyd wheels.
Yeah, I have spoken to the Time guys about the move to the US. Very cool. I had a set of Boyd 36s in carbon on another road bike. Boyd is a nice guy and is doing in the USA aluminum wheels. The Rolf-Primas, IMO, out shine the Boyds both for liveliness and, certainly, stability in winds. They are so stable.
Tough decision but like you I would choose the Time. The beauty of any decision is you can always go back. It's not choose one keep it forever proposition unless you make it that way.
I'd struggle to pick one between the two as well. Ti frames certainly has its appeal, yet Time really is one of the best, if not the best when it comes to manufacturing carbon fiber bikes. I would probably take long to decide between them and after purchasing one, I would keep looking back at the other.
@@oldguyandabike Eh dunno bout that really. Spesh Roubaix will have both of these beat comfortably and I yet I aint giving my ADH for no Tarmac and I am soon adding an ADHX just for good measure. TIME frames are just…special…
@@tonyg3091 I appreciate the engineering behind the Time bikes and that is, in part, why I bought it. I agree that it is very nice to ride. But you need to appreciate that I am the one that rode both of these and since all this is really just subjective anyway... Also, where a Ti frame is made has little to no bearing on how it is to ride. That all is in the tubing spec and the design that is decided way before a torch is lit and things start burning. gg
ADHX All The Way at Lighter Carbon its Lighter Carbon Split SeatPost and its 10-36t 3more teeth Cassette id simply Change To a Red Groupo and go Even Lighter Racon 10-32 or 34 Cassette or Stams Lightest 1Piece Cassette
Im an old guy too, and i have to say, youve become my favorite you tuber! 👍
Aw, shucks! Thanks Mr. Juice. Where did that phrase come from? Universe Juice...I can almost picture it...

I just bought and ADHX at Black Friday price to good to pass up
Absolutely love these detailed comparisons. Thank you.
I always feel like I left something unsaid, but no one will watch a 30 minute video! Except you and I, perhaps.
That time build is the one. With all you said, AND it's beautiful to look at.
Yes it is.

I like the raw Ti look 😊
Yep. Me too. But at least I have my gravel bike for that.

thank you for the input, ill choose the titanium over the time carbon. , jim from cherry hill nj. both nice bike,
Not a bad choice!

I think you did well. Great choice and sound reasoning.
Love your thinking and approach. Your review of the ADHX has really given me food for thought.

That’s good to hear. I’m looking at this for the Mallorca 312 and long rides afterwards
@@moobaz8675 I was just thinking today, as I was riding, that the ADHX (and this build) would be a dream Sportive bike IMO.

All things considered more or less equal , l would take the Time ADHX based on aesthetics , gorgeous !!!
It is a lovely bike. Although, the simple lines of a Ti bike appeals to me.

Time bike for me
Exquisite EU craftsmanship and the best carbon frame on the market vs a Chinese Ti frame…that’s just not fair…😂
