I am in my 60's and when I was pre school my nan used to look after me while mum worked and all the things she did were what witches are doing in this modern age..... she used a clove in my tooth to numb toothache, lemon for antiseptic, a doc leaf with spit on to neutralise nettle stings, a lavender sachet under my pillow and had Geraniums on all her window sills....so many plant remedies .... and I used to look forward to a new moon because she would go outside with a penny in her hand and turn it over while bowing and turning around. we used to do it together even though I had no idea why. She was a gentle soul, happy and loving and created fun memories of her that I willl never forget ;)
Yes, please do more of these. House plants and pet friendly items would be great. Thank you for sharing your work and book with us. I hope to be able to give a copy for someone dear to me that is just starting out soon. 🥰
Great video. Garlic is my absolute favorite crop to grow. I've always kept some on my windowsill because it brings me such happiness and peace. I love the idea that I lovingly tend it for 9 months and then it tends to my heart after I harvest it. Then I plant it back outside and the cycle of care continues.
I purchased your book the other day, I registered for my second year on my study of Herbalism so excited. Can not wait to put the two together. You have been a huge inspration to me I so enjoy you and your channel. Love and light blessings to you.
I’d definitely like another video on more of your magickal decor!! I love how you tell us what they each are supposed to represent and what that means for you personally. Thank you 😊
I would love to hear about your house plants, kitchen herbs, or plants on your entry way. Really any of your magikal decorations. I love your decor that we can see in your videos. I have a ton of house plants as well. I too live in the PNW & would 💚 to know about local vegitation & magikal significance. Thanks ☮️ 💜🕯
I put "scary" things on a little windowsill by the front door to keep away undesirable energies. Some of my "scary" things are wasp nests, rose thorns, dead bugs, and some kind of little Lego monster my grandson had, lol. I have a broom outside on the porch, but not over the door. (Yet.) Hazel is so cute!
I would love more videos on magical decorations and also plants! Right now I only have some cristals in my livingroom and next to my bed, especially rose quartz (for positivity, love and good dreams) and black tourmaline for protection.
Thank you for all you share, your videos are always very calming for me in a very chaotic day-to-day. I get to relax with your videos. As for what of these or others I keep around my space: I do indeed have 2 Besoms/Brooms above the Doorway & Entryway. 1 Is above the FrontDoor, the 2nd is above my own Bedroom Door. Both are indeed Cinnamon. I keep a Bowl of Salt on my Windowsill of my Bedroom, And an Evil-Eye-Protection Charm in the Curtains of my Bedroom. Seems to be helping. I also keep Black Tourmaline & White Selenite above my Bed. Those are some of my main protection Charms. Thank you again. Wishing you a Blessed October.
🌲🍀🐾🐕Yep, caught me a "screenshot" of Hazelnut holding the toy with that picture of her sitting in "Her" chair, on the wall behind😉. That's a Magickal decoration for sure. I never walk away from your videos disappointed💚💗💚🧝♀️🐕🐾🍀🌲.
My ancestor altar just looks like home decor to non-witchy people. A gallery wall of our beloved and ancestral dead, a clock, candles and flowers. I also often consider my seasonal decor as part of my craft as it helps keep me in the wheel of the year mindset.
House plants please! I always admire them. I keep dried oranges tied to my broom above my door to clear and bring in prosperity. And I love when the pups join you! Makes my day!
The thistle bowl is new to me, thank you. What I keep: bells on the door, lots of crystals and salt stones. Copper I keep as cents in a bowl, mortar and pestle in the kitchen, I got a little glass jar full with crushed 4 leaf clover, life flowers, I got a connection with roses.
Beautiful Video and as always , love the cameo of Miss Hazel ( toot toot 😂❤❤🎉❤). She has such a magnificent fur coat and presence❤. I remember when you first adopted her as a tiny pup ❤. Thank you for the magic culinary tips. I love garlic and also copper ❤❤
This was so much fun! Im in between homes atm but as soon as I get my new place I’m getting a broom! Would love more of these videos like you mentioned with plants would be fabulous. 🙏✨
I just purchased your book today and am very excited to read it! Herbalism is a subject Ive wanted to study for a long time now. I’m sure your book will only inspire me further.❤
Would love a vlog on the puppies and what herbs or activities you might use when raising them, keeping them healthy, cleansing and even after going for a walk and bringing them back home ... and wondering if you notice what they sense each time you've moved. TIA
I keep hanging herbs for both ornamental and practical purposes. And a little ceramic gnome that sits as a home guardian on my windowsill. We offer him stones or pinecones or feathers periodically. ❤
Awesome vid! I have a glass bell jar that I use to clear up my spaces (do a lot of sound magick). I use a wand made from a dead cholla cactus I found on a hike to ring the bell (..more like bash..the glass is pretty thick and the wand is wrapped in red yarn). Peace and Love to everyone ✌🏽 Would be cool to learn more about the metal properties in combo with plant magick system. (ie working with copper tools that bring warmth with nettles that bring protection that make a warm protection spell vs stainless steel which is colder/more direct)
Oh my goodness sorry I forgot to add that in the video! typically I would avoid eating it and just allowing it to be there to protect and absorb and then placing it into compost once you feel that it is time for a fresh bulb
Living in south Florida there are a lot of plants and herbs not readily available to me. I would love to have some advise on what grows locally that works like thistle and such.
You didn't talk/show any of the super cool looking things we all see in your videos. A bowl is a bowl. What about the plants, your measuring scales, your wall art. Wtf, gal? Have some fun with it!! 😘

Thank you for not cutting out your greeting to hazel, it’s sweet to see your relationship with your dogs. My dog is my best friend. ❤
I was already enjoying this video so much, but when Hazel squeaked her squeaky toy and you left it in, it became even more enjoyable for me 😂❤

I keep cinnamon brooms next to both my front and back doors. I also tend to group items into threes as well.
I would love this as a series of sorts! Informative and aesthetic, what more could a witch ask for lol

Your energy comes from the plants and the dog. Not anything else.
This was such a fun video and Hazel made it even more special!

I'd love to know more about the giant scroll next to the framed ferns...looks like someone with tree legs holding a sphere. I love it!
That's something I'm really interested in.
Lovely! (and your dog is so funny … trying to steal the show 😉)
I love that you don't edit out your dogs! I want to put the broom over my door and add thistles nearby.

For the garlic, would it be safe to consume it after?
Oh my goodness sorry I forgot to add that in the video! typically I would avoid eating it and just allowing it to be there to protect and absorb and then placing it into compost once you feel that it is time for a fresh bulb
@@TheGreenWitch no worries at all and thank you for your reply 🙂❤️

Question:
Say I don’t have space above my door for a Broom.
Could I possibly hang something like a Besom ‘on’ my door and have the same effect? 😊
Hi 🍁Annie
My cat interrupts me when I have been sewing too long.
Do you use the garlic or ??
