Nice review, refreshing to hear someone that's not selling something. I've been looking at these for Florida back bay fishing, pretty stable?

Thanks! Yes, think it is very stable and I usually paddle with the seat in the high position. Pretty easy to paddle and I like the rudder. Nice even on calm days as it helps when drift fishing. Not that it can't be rolled but I have been out in some pretty nasty conditions and stayed upright.

What type of cart is that? I discovered that my local kayak shop doesn’t recommend Boonedox landing gear on Vibe Seaghost Kayaks. Thanks in advance for your help. Kindest regards, David

I built it myself. Here is a video I made on a similar cart that I use for my Topwater pdl. The one in the video I cut the axle in half so that it can fit inside the Topwater but I am pretty sure you could skip that step and it should just slide full length into the hatch on the SG130. ruclips.net/video/Qp-rcHGO0To/видео.html Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.

I see you have your pliers mounted on the top of your seat side, can you tell me what you did there to mount and the brand? Alot of times i fumble around looking for mine and there under the seat or in my pocket. Be nice if I new exactly where they were when I needed them

Hey Keith, I do not know what brand they are. They are all aluminum pliers that I got from Gander Mountain a few years ago for about $20. The pliers came with a sheath that has a metal clip on the back so you can clip it to your belt. I just clip them to the seat strap above the adjustment buckle so it does not slide down too far. Yes, it is nice to always know where they are.

Do you think the boondocks wheel system would be better, instead of off and on with the wheels? Seem like there's plenty of room on that yak

The only thing I don’t like about this type of seating system is you can’t just spin sideways and hang your feet over. When you flip, their a pain to get back in the seat. I prefer just the padded clip in seats. I fish swim snorkel and stay out all day and half the night.

Great video. Do you find that the center counsel gets in the way when you’re standing to fish? I’m looking at one of these and that looked like a potential nuisance.

Yes, I am not a big fan of the size of the center console. Would rather it was only half as long as it was so it did not extend as far in front of your feet. But that's just me. When I stand though I kind of pinch the sides of the console with my feet which seems to put me in the most stable position. Stable enough to stand but feet close enough together that the kayak doesn't rock as much if you feet were spread farther. Hope that all makes sense.

I ordered it online but cannot remember from what company other than they handle sailboat gear. West Marine may have something similar. The one I have is aluminum.

I built it. Here is a video of the one I use now which was based of the one in the video. Use it both for the SeaGhost 130 and a Topwater PDL ruclips.net/video/Qp-rcHGO0To/видео.html
