Sally burned an offering, like they mentioned at camp in the beginning. And it shows that Poseidon was listening because he came immediately. And yeah, as far as the gods go Poseidon isnt that bad. By mortal standards hes kind of a deadbeat because he wasnt around, but by godly standards he probably did the best thing he could for Percy by letting him grow up as normal as possible. It also shows how much he respects Sally because he listens to her implicitly. Bonus is the thunder when she asks if he wants to meet Percy. Like he wants to, but he cant and it breaks his heart a little bit, so you hear a single crack of thunder. Perfect.
Awesome video 💯‼️ Also Julian Richings played Charon in the Percy Jackson film which is the only nod to the film. Also you need to watch on the tv screen as the lighting is much better than on a computer screen also the series is a more faithful adaptation than the films but it also follows the graphic novel and Rick Riordan changed loads of things when making the book into a graphic novel. So I personally like changes that are in the series and I hope that they follow the graphic novel more in the final episode versus the book. 😅😊
@@TheNerdyverse-DannyReacts I will say that the lotus casino scene in the graphic novel was also changed from the film version imho they made it more kid friendly they added a slide that empties out into a ball pit. The film version of the lotus casino was not for teenagers or young adults. So for me the changes in the tv series were better better because it was more realistic but that’s just me.
