Damn, after reading sooooo many times I needed to learn the major scale and not seing where this could lead, your video finally enlightened me, thank you so much
That's a very helpful idea to think about the "color" of individual scale degrees, rather than just noodling around on any old note within the scale like I normally do ;P While I think our ears naturally guide us towards one note or the other depending on the mood we are trying to achieve, it is helpful to give those natural tendencies a little bit more guidance by thinking of the different scale degrees in the way you outlined here. Thanks for those charts and riffs to help apply everything, too!
Another brilliant lesson, broken down effectively and I learnt alot more about the major scale. Love the idea of splitting it 3 parts - I had always tried to learn all the mode positions but it always felt like a mammoth of a task to remember!! The best thing about your lessons are the way you demonstrate how to put them into practice, so it doesn't feel theory heavy :) Thanks for the content!
Let's Talk About Math Rock Your absolutely right! I've been struggling with this topic but the way you explain things really clicks for me. I know I'm not in your patreon but if you could cover time signature that would be great! I've been trying to practice some chon songs with a metronome but I feel like the metronome throws me more off 😂. This would be greatly appreciated 😊
finally actually learning how to play REAL guitar because of you thanks man
