This film was a trip, a complete organized chaos with criticisms of the film industry, criticisms of ethnic prejudice and prejudice against sexuality in the midst of super funny humor. That got me too. There's another thing during that sequence that I didn't notice the first few times I watched it. On the screen with all the nominees, in addition to Stiller, was a guy in a wheelchair, a blind guy reading a book in Braille, Tobey Maguire's gay monk character from the Satan's Alley fake trailer, and Jon Voight. It just struck me as funny because all the other characters are obviously "Oscar-bait" roles.
It looks to me more like Voight is standing to shake hands with and congratulate Tugg on HIS way to accept the award. Makes more sense that way too: we see him curse when Tugg Speedman is announced, he knows he didn't get it.

It’s quite likely that those folks are worried about monetization & not self censoring.
@@goldenageofdinosaurs7192money over entertainment not like couldn't get it vack via patreon and other videos 😅
"I don't think I've ever seen Tom Cruise dance before."
You need to watch Risky Business.
By the way Tropic Thunder is Tom Cruise's best role & performance, ever. Simply brilliant. Lol
''Just a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude''. One of the greatest lines ever! Amazing reaction
It's such a great line!! 😂
The entire cast was incredible. When he throws Half-squat i die laughing evrrytime. 😂😂😂
Your laugh is so contagious. Every time you giggles, I laughed all over again even though I've seen this movie dozens of times.
That smelled like bologna for some reason 😂😂😂😂 i forgot that part 😂
This movie for me was Core Memory.
So much so that I remember what I was doing on the day I watched this movie lmao.
Painting my drawing table made out of wood and folding window hinge for my Year 12 Project lmao.
the double feature grindhouse a two movie feature with tarantinos death proof and rodriguez planet terror also had fake trailers between the two movies, and they were so amazing they later made them as real movies lol xD
Machete Kills!
This film was a trip, a complete organized chaos with criticisms of the film industry, criticisms of ethnic prejudice and prejudice against sexuality in the midst of super funny humor.
Tom Cruise and Robert Downey Junior were very funny and their transformation was extreme, although we can still recognize them. The entire Casting had big names and none of them disappointed, it was great to watch it again and be able to see Jax's reactions to the excessive blood. It was like watching the movie with my sister again. And I'm looking forward to next time
3:00 Why did my mind immediately go to the gutter when she said this?
5:43 This is the earliest I think I’ve seen any reactor recognize Tom Cruise.
16:21 Even though she edited it out, having bar backed at a strip club a number of years back, I always laugh my ass off at the, “Amanda, that’s probably not even her real name.”
I lost it when you said he was the only one who knew it was real. But he's also delusional🤣
RDJ knowing its real but cant break character and can only try telling them as Osiris is both brilliant and fucking hysterical
So true!
Love watching people react to this movie for the first time 😂
Watching Jax is always such a treat! You're so adorable watching the most unhinged movies as a sweetheart. XD
Stiller is a very underrated comedy giant, if you take a look at his resume from scripts, TV, film, series, sitcom, etc. it's amazing the amount of top level comedy that guy has released into the world, even on things people didn't realize he'd written.
Un, NOBODY underrates Ben Stiller. WTH?? He is royalty in hollywierd. WTH??
@@nielgregory108 Work on your reading comprehension...and spelling.
I love how RDJ speaks Chinese, but he speaks it like a black guy from the hood. Yet no one things that's strange. 😂
Best! Tropic Thunder! Reaction! Thank you!
THANK YOU!! 🎉🎉
I always love your reactions. ❤️
All your reactions to Tropic Thunder was hilarious 😂
Especially with Robert Downey Jr's role as Lazarus, i loved your reaction tords them all.
This was a great movie & definitely one of my favorite comedy movies to watch since it came out in theaters.
Keep up the good work, Jax!😊
" What do you mean you people?" LOL
I often say:
"I've had a belly full of you people!"
"And by 'you people' I mean everyone who's not me!"
I love you reactions to watching Tropical Thunder, seeing you delve into your dark and wild side on how you express yourself, something I want to see more often,Jax.
One of the greatest comedies ever made, on so many levels. The story, the writing, the acting...all amazing, and hilarious.
Easily one of the best reactions I've seen to this movie! Thank you Jax for being intelligent enough to understand comedy and not get offended by everything
In the theater, so many people thought that the movie trailers were actual trailers, so people were still getting up for last min snacks and bathrooms stops while their friends had a big "oh shit" moment of realization 😂 Also on the actual DVD, if you turn on the commentary, RDJ is still in character as Kirk Lazarus and the cast is there with him just dying laughing
RDJ really doesn't drop character till after the DVD commentary. It's so funny, he just rips on stiller and black the whole time.
In the opening scene, the Vietcong shooting Fourleaf have Reverse-Stormtrooper Syndrome. They can't miss.
Asians using aimbots? Never......
There's actually whole dvd commentary online on YT and Robert stays in character 😂
I need to see that! 😂
Jay Berenthal threw me for a loop. I KNEW I knew his voice from... somewhere. Then I rewatched "How to Train Your Dragon" again and there he was, as Hiccup!
Jay Baruchel. I know he's Canadian, but the dude deserves some respect.
This is one of the best Tropic Thunder reactions I've watched. Even though I've seen many reactions and have watched the movie several times, you still had me giggling throughout the entire reaction. Thank you! I had a blast! 😄
Lol, so when I went to see this, I was visiting one of my friends out in Las Vegas. When I saw the "ad" for Booty Sweat and Bust-A-Nut, I legitimately thought they were real. I turned to my friend and said "You got some wack-ass concessions out here." lol.
And I didn't even realize that was Tom Cruise until he started dancing in front of McConaughey, lol. This movies OUTRAGEOUS, lol.
Absolutely hilarious from start to finish. Your reaction to Tropic Thunder was, as with your other videos, delightfully entertaining.
Speaking as a Millennial, this is one of the last great comedies, before everyone got so sensitive.
I literally could not have asked for a better bday gift. Ty for this Jax I'm gonna enjoy a slice of cookie cake with it! :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!! Cookie cake sounds delicious! I hope you have an amazing day! ❤️🎉❤️🎉
@@reactswithjax Thank you!! You too!
Possibly and arguably, the greatest comedy to date.
And Danny McBride is always welcome in any comedic offering. The dude is so naturally funny…
Thanks Jax👍🏻
It’s comedy for actual adults that don’t have insecurities ruling their lives
lmao it's not THAT unhinged. This movie could easily be made today if theatrical comedies were still a thing, maybe not with RDJ since he's now disneyfied
@@deek60819 come to our side 🥤
Holy shit she guessed Grossman right away! 😆 That's gotta be a record.
I always laugh so hard when Half Squat starts to stab speedman 😂😂😂
I like that the agent ended up choosing the G5 lol😂🎉
I didn't even catch that!!!! 😂
By the way there are no pandas in southern Asia. "Amanda? It's probably not her real name."
of course not; Tug killed them all cause he couldn't get the take right the first time...
If you haven't seen it, "The Hangover" would be an excellent choice for the next movie to watch. The two sequels are fantastic as well.
Nice to see another Grimm connoisseur. That is indeed Sergeant Wu
"Tropic Thunder is sorta my Catcher in the Rye." 😂 Underrated joke.
I'm sorry, but when I'm just in the middle of watching something and Jax drops a new video, everyone else has to wait.
Haha! Omg, that just made my day! Thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed it! ❤️
@@reactswithjax I did! You have never let me down 😄
Greetings from Germany, and have a nice weekend!
Beds give me nightmares 😂
I Love this Channel so much her smile is everything ❤❤❤
Thank you so much!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed this! 🥰
Jax, you are SOOOOO precious, and such a treasure to behold !!! I love your reactions and look forward to seeing them whenever I get a chance, but this one was simply amazingly. You're so funny and intelligent, and you were picking up on everything they were doing. Great job 🤗🥰👍!!!
Thank you so much Steve!!! 🥰❤🐑
RDJ was so into this character he made a short mockumentary as Lazarus with a filipino family..its on youtube..hilarious!!
I heard that Tom Cruise is working on a spinoff movie about Les Grossman. I hope it happens.
no shot, that ship has long since sailed
Of all the funny scenes I still get a kick out of Jon Voight standing up to accept the award at the end😂
I watched this movie with my buddy when this came out in theatre
We didn't realize Les is Tom Cruise until end of the movie
We were dying laughing when we found out it is Tom Cruise 😁
Luv your laugh and reaction Jax!
I don't think I have seen you laugh so much before. That is why I watch your reactions. Such a good one. :)
If you want more of Peck's son, the actor plays a bigger part as Ben Stiller's nephew in the promo for Tropic Thunder (which is also hillarious).
This stacked cast will never happen again. Amazing.
I found out about this movie about 18 months ago when a co worker told me about it and it has had me in tears laughing multiple times possibly one of the funniest movies I have ever seen just brilliant
