When I listen to this song, I recall the riverside scenery on my way to kindergarten as a child in 1986, the layout of a convenience store I stopped at on my way to high school in 1998, the vast sunset I saw on my way home from job in 2007, the car window in 2011 when I was about to marry my now estranged husband, and various other trivial fragments of past memories like a slideshow. It is said that when a person dies, they listen beautiful music that they have never heard before and play back their life from when they were a baby. Maybe it is because this music is so emotional that my brain mistakes it for postmortem music and shows me a slideshow. This is like a key to an album of memories. I am grateful to Alfie Templeman and God for bringing me to this work.
