Actually this is exactly what they are doing right now (including the previous album) if you ask me. No worries, they evolve and that is positive from my perspective, although I don’t like it.

That was my favorite till What went down came out but its still a close second

I saw Foals a few times in Brighton and at Glastonbury, I will be seeing Foals with my younget son (Buddy) his first gig (Brighton) in a few weeks! I love that he loves indie music and knows all the Nirvana songs and has a thing for 80's music :) what a wonderful journey music takes us all on.

Ugh, this song and video are OUTSTANDING. I’ve had this on repeat since it came out last week. I love everything Foals puts out but I’m loving the direction they’re going in so much. I was so crushed when the pandemic ruined their 2020 American tour. I hope and pray that I’ll see them one day. 🤍

When you're struggling and yet try to keep a cheerful appearance on the outside. This is the vibe I get from this song. I felt this song with every fiber of my being.
If something makes you unhappy try to change it. Start prioritising stuff and get rid of the rest that dont make you stand on number 1
@@jessenl360 when you lose your friend/love in a violent, unexpected way, there's no healing from that. You just learn how to cope with it better.
But even if years go by, the pain is still there. There are some days where it becomes too much, and yet you still try to be as cheerful as you can be on the outside.
In the part of the song where he sings fast, muffled and over himself, that's how coping with grief is, at least for me.
You're trying to carry on about your day, but mentally, your mind keeps thinking about the person you've lost. You think about what could have been.
Not saying that that's me every day, but it perfectly describes that particular moment in grief.

Some people are clueless on empathy..
Been taking dance lessons trying to rebuild the pieces. Friends ask why I get so uncomfortable at social dance events… now I have a visual aid to describe what it’s like.
I’m loving this. I’ve always enjoyed your journey as you’ve matured, but this is a return to an Antidotes era which is when and why I fell in love with your band (and proper music).
This literally couldn't be any more different to Antidotes. Listen to Two Steps Twice or French Open then listen to this.
Maybe that’s why you you disagree. It’s not a literal thing. It’s a vibe, a feeling. Though I feel balloons 🎈 is of a similar vein. Or pre Antidotes; Astronauts and all.

I've been less than impressed by the last few albums and this just takes the biscuit for me. The lyrics are empty and the instrumentation is ridiculous! Just my tastes and I'm sure others would prefer this to Antidotes

You know at the beginning I was "disappointed" of how catchy is sounding this new album. But then I thought it is FOALS, love them, they have been around since 2005. It is a process of change, growing. This band is like a person, grows to where the hell the want and that's what I still follow them in their journey. So please with respect, let the artist be an artist.
It has still got that original Foals vibe.

My sister showed me this song because it was “my vibe” a while ago. I loved it and then listened to Wake Me Up and A Knife in the Ocean and absolutely loved them too. I went to Mad Cool festival and they were there but i only knew a couple of songs but still enjoyed it and my family and i agree that it was one of the best concert because of the visuals and the music. Now i’m home listening to all they played in the festival and they’re obviously bangers
