- Hey guys!! Today is the launch of my fall series.. I love filming these videos in October and November.. It’s such a nice way to get into the spirit, and get organized before the holidays. I’m starting today with a deep cleanse of the inside of the house that I like to do at the turn of the season.. I hope this inspires you to do some fall prep & cleaning inside your space.

A lot of times i think its so overrated that people film videos about the tiniest details of everything they do but it's so different with you. It is so therapeutic to watch your around the house cleaning videos. It actually calms me down because i love cleaning too but get lazy sometimes.
Sometimes I feel the same way... I'm happy that some people enjoy watching these. It sure makes doing it a lot more fun!! haha

That is crazy how much dust that rug attracts. That would drive me nuts too. It is pretty though. It’s nice to that you show the dirt, spills and random toys, because it just shows you have a very lived in home. Some people never show that side to their homes. You have a very lovely home and it shows you take good care of it.
Oh gosh, I know.. I think it's coming from the rug itself.. It came smelling like earth and slightly damp, and as it has dried up it just never stops producing dust.. I may have to remove it soon, because its more high maintenance than I prefer. Thanks for watching!
it's so satisfying to see all the smudges in the fridge be wiped up and all the surfaces in the fridge sparkling!

I just admire you si much. I’m a mum and a wife and I wouldn’t know how to do half the things you do. Thinking about windows, organizing, having decor boxes for every season etc. Unbelievable... I’m already proud when I grocery shop and clean and feel like the master of the universe 😂😂
Funny story, we had lost our remote control months ago. Thought maybe one of my kids threw it out. This week i was cleaning out my freezer and what do ya know, i found the remote all the way at the bottom of the freezer 😂😂 you find things in the most random places.

Exactly Krissy! I can't watch those videos where they clean the bathroom that is already clean, I doesn't make any sense to me. I love Rachel's videos (like this one) because she shows the truth, a house (where a whole family live) gets dirty, it's natural, not a big deal...you clean when you can and try not to stress when it gets dirty thinking about your priorities ❤️

As a teenager I never loved cleaning and all that kind of stuff, but now, when I'm adult, I find cleaning our home so therapeutic. I don't have to think about anything, I will use up some of the negative energy I have and I feel 100% better after that :) And thank you, Rachel, for the "reality" element in the video :) All the spills, all the dust, all the dirt.. It's refreshing to see a "humanity" on YouTuBe these days, since it's always full of shine and sparkle :)
I own a cleaning house cleaning company for 16yrs and you can say I am a professional cleaner....😆your videos are my favorite videos to watch on home cleaning and organizing !!! They are well narrated and great cleaning tips !!! Great job !!!!
Love it! Trick I learned awhile back for those darn dusty rugs turn it upside down and vacuum then turn back vacuum then repeat one more time and you got all that accumulated dirt that will keep falling under the rug drastically cutting back on the dirt you’ll find later (do maybe twice or 3 times a year)

I used to LOATHE cleaning, Im a SAHM and I would clean and blink and it was a mess again. But I realized that I had taught my kids inadvertently to not clean up after themselves. Since watch these videos I've gotten my kids I to helping me clean. A struggle at first lol, but now it's like breathing. We clean when we wake up and it stays clean all day. And before bedtime we walk through the house and pick up anything forgotten. THANK GOD for these videos lol. I'm happier with a clean house, my husband is happier to come home lol, and my kids are more well behaved since having set chores. 😍😍😍😍

Love u rachel and ur videos.....sometimes youtube videos made me think that these ppl are perfect because everything in their lives is perfect as how clean and organized they seems in the videos and i thought that i m a failure.....bcoz i m not that much organized.....but ur videos are sooo realistic and on point they made me feel relaxed that yes it is normal that ur house gets messy and all gross but we can put effort to manage in best possible ways and that sometimes it is ok if ur house is not clean....love u.....u r an inspiration for me❤

Luckily I can "kill two birds with one stone" when I film these types of videos, because RUclips and creating content from home is one of my jobs. So, I'm actually doing this during my scheduled "work" hours.. In terms of creating content, I enjoy making cleaning videos because a) I get something done that needs to be done and b) it's also my job to create content. People seem to watch these videos and enjoy them, and they do well on my channel.. soo... I enjoy creating these regularly, and it also helps me establish my own routine.. I've always enjoyed cleaning though (even when I worked a more traditional job), however I would normally spread these tasks out over the course of several days/weeks and not do it all in one day..That's what I do if I'm doing chores on a day or timeframe outside of days when I'm making a video about it.. lol loooong answer haha

Rachel Talbott I guess that makes sense for you at least. Heck if everyone got paid to clean their home, everyone’s home would be spotless! I’d much rather spend it with my kiddos though, they won’t remember a clean home when they’re older but they will remember time spent together.

Love this! Love your home! I decorate heavily for fall/winter (we host the holidays) so we always do a big clean around here! So many little things I didnt think of! However the fireplace clean made me chuckle, I'm an upstate/farm town NY gal who heats her house mainly on a woodstove and I know my husband would look at me like I was nuts if I scrubbed our woodstove hahaha

If I'm not mistaken, one of the reasons they may be peeing on your rug is because the jute material is natural and similar to grass. So they very well may think they are supposed to go potty on it.

This video made me so happy to see. Lately, I’ve been really down on myself thinking I’m a horrible wife because the house is messy and I can’t seem to keep up. I always watch your videos and think, man, I wish my life was like that. I wish I was a good wife who could always cook and clean and keep everything running smoothly. To see you have struggles that I do (I don’t have kids, but I do have pets) and that things get messy, made me feel so much better. It made me realize that it’s ok if not everything is perfect. Loved the video ❤️

I forgot to say I started the FLY lady cleaning routine besides the Fall cleaning. It is similar to how you clean. I really feel more.directed now when I get up in the morning.
