FLIGHT CHOPS DISCLAIMER:
I am a "weekend warrior" private pilot, I fly for fun with no intentions of going commercial. I have had my PPL for over 15 years, but still consider each flight a learning experience - I generally take detailed notes after each flight to remind myself what went well or what I could do to improve.... Having the GoPro cameras to record flights like this is invaluable. I find these self analysis videos very helpful in my constant quest to improve, and am happy to share. Feedback is invited; however, please keep it positive.

this needs to be pinned : )
Haha - I totally wrote it to pin it, and did so immediately... then I made an edit and it was unpinned and I didn’t notice - thank for catching that - it is now re pinned :)
@@FlightChops Hey steve, what track did you use for the intro?
Hi Flight Chops, When will you be announcing the winner for the giveaway of the flight sim cockpit?
Love this video so Informative well done lads😎😎
Can’t wait until Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
Justin - The scenery looks amazing 👍
Just pray it's actually a new MSFS and not "Microsoft Flight 2.0"
@@Guysm1l3y This. Exactly This. Microsoft Flight was awful.
Why?? How's the ATC??? Don't know?? THAT GRAPHICS IS bs!
Is it gonna be an arcade game or an almost real sim as it used to be ?
Students that have those home flight simulators typically do very well regarding instrument flying. It’s a noticeable difference.
Dyl Connaway huge advantage I completed my ppl in 45hours and very much Credited to having a flight sim at home. Keeps you proficient when Mother Nature has other plans
@@hatchettc182 Not to mention the instructor fees and aircraft rental and fuel you didn't have to pay because you were proficient already. I'm looking to do this with a helicopter ppl. I have multiple hundreds of hours combined with the many flight sims I have on steam. Flying for me may be a dream, but at least it's a fun one.
Can I know what’s your setup I’m really confused
@@hatchettc182 Yeah just had my flight Thunderstormed out today... only 9 hours in but looking to get a sim at home to help me get my PPL and IFR rating (in future)... does it really help with actual flying or is it more about the checklists and that kinda thing?
Nick B cool deal, oh yeah it helps with both. It keeps everything fresh for when you get in the plane in real life, its like you never left even if you havent flown real life in two months. You forget anything because you are still getting muscle memory going from the sim
dude the guy you had build your computer is on fucking point, he knew EXACTLY what it took to get the job done correctly yet not waste money for a flight sim setup, because it really does vary from a regular gaming build that most people would probably just use. You have some really amazing friends that do stuff right.
Now that some time has passed. Are there anything you wished you would have done differently? Different throttle quadrant, yoke, master panel.....any thing really. This video motivated me to finally dump the force feedback joystick and invest in a sim setup. I appreciate you listing all the components!!!
Steve, you did a great job highlighting how cool and functional these home sims are.
Working on my instrument rating and bought a yolk system and Xplane 11 2 weeks ago so I could work on holds and approaches. I was pleasantly surprised when I had the same challenges I have in a real plane - now I can work on my instrument scanning skills without paying for airplane time. Truly a great tool.
Excellent move. Many ppl are inspired to use sims to practice holds and approaches. You'll quickly learn there is a lot more to end to end IFR flights with regards to flight planning, picking up clearances, a wide range of departure procedures, enroute procedures, towered vs non-towered, etc. The sim is good for all of it :)
Your comment about getting more real-life pilots to get into flight sim...interesting you say that, because even though I am just a simulator pilot, I have been able to help real-life pilots through my videos and answering questions. It's unreal! There is more crossover there than most people realize. Mainly when it comes to instrument flying and staying proficient.
Finally, you and other pilots recognize that SIMS and especially when coupled with a good VR headset is an excellent learning tool! When I am flying into unfamiliar non towered airports, I practice the approach and flight plan on my X-Plane 11 sim with Occulus Rift VR system. This is a real safety feature. I learn the geography and the correct approach then I go fly it.. Flying to the new location then feels like I have done this before!! I import Foreflight directly into the SIM environment so I see my location in real time along with the real control zones and frequencies.. Can't beat this kind of practice!!
Gord Rose - Awesome to read this, you completely get it. Great comment 👍
Do you know if the new 2020 Microsoft flight Sim will be able to work with Occulus?
Does X-Plane 11 provide a reasonably realistic experience? IOW, if i want to start making a 3 year plan to go from zero to IFR is it a reasonable place to start? How is the Oculus integration?
@@jcims yeah X-Plane is a great platform
I was very satisfied with XForce’s prepackaged options - good / better / best type array. And PilotEdge is an ABSOLUTE must! I tell Keith every time we email that he and his team is literally savings lives with the ATC sim service they have developed. It (sim + PilotEdge) is the very first thing I recommend to aspiring pilots - ppl or instrument.
Seriously Cirrus - You nailed it on all points, couldn’t agree more.
This is taking off like wildfire!!! I started flight simulation building over thirty years ago in my apartment then on to a work shed!!!! next step is put one in a RV and go mobile!!! YEAH BABY!!! This is the future!!! I'm getting all tingly thinking about it!!!:) GREAT VIDEO GUYS!!!!
that's an awesome idea! mobile flight sim.
I've been working on my setup for about a year. It's come quite a ways. I'm out of space lol. RV isn't a bad idea
I am a kid and I am like you when you were a kid. I love aviation and I have X-plane 11 and a logitech X-treme 3D pro joystick. I didn't even know that it was possible to make one of those setups. That's amazing bud. Keep up the good work!
I started simming about 10 years ago - the progression of hardware/software in that time has been amazing - also, guys like you who help all of us to figure out how things work have really helped - keep it up - I wish you were there when I started as a resource - many will learn from you. Thanks.
As a real pilot of 34 years, 23 years as a Naval Aviator and 11 years as a Law Enforcement pilot, I can't stress enough how important simulation is in helping to produce technically and tactically proficient aviators. The military has known this for years. Mission rehearsal, procedure review, emergency procedures that can't be accomplished realistically or safely in the aircraft, crew resource management scenarios.....the list goes on and on. Great video. I use my little home sim all the time for instrument proficiency, and just for fun.
Doug Russell - Yeap. Nailed it on the head. Thanks for your service 👍
As a former simulation mechanic at Flight Safety in Broken Arrow and an up and coming pilot myself I could agree more. Trying to learn in the aircraft isn’t very proficient and is extremely costly.
Doug Russell - Now if we could just convince the various flight authorities around the world to allow us to log that Sim time, that would be awesome, but their requirements are far more complex than necessary and the cost far too much.
Your simulator is fantastic. I didn't realize a home simulator could be so realistic and valuable. Thank you for sharing!
Bose and planes. Just go together. 🙌 awesome setting.
Been flying MS Flight Sim for 10 years, and now flying XPlane 11, it is awesome. Thanks for highlighting this area of Flight
As an avid lifelong flight simulator user and a person with some flight experience, I have some advice.
Get a VR headset! You just need a yoke, rudder pedals, and throttle quadrant. It will bring your realism from 10% to 85%. I would recommend the Rift S, but you might want to wait for all of the upcoming headsets to release.
I am sticking with TrackIR for now, I find virtual reality bit too limiting, it is great for immersion, but bit impractical, I cannot use my navigation app on my tablet, I cannot use my physical map, and even drinking water is bit too much of hassle. Do not get me wrong, virtual goggles give you great field of vision, and it is great experience for some type of play, it is bit limiting at the moment...
keep in mind, his goal is to use this for IFR training and to nail his use of the Garmin 430 GPS. Neither of those are particularly well served by VR. Don't get me wrong, VR is insanely good for a number of tasks, but for what he's looking to do, I think he has the best setup as is.
NetAndyCz my thoughts exactly, track ir is a very underrated product. For me track ir is the best part of my sim experience. It also allows him to move in motions that he would in real life
all yoke, rudder, trottle switch, leds, gauges have easy build diy in home. wery simple need orden only all switch and potentiometers, some rsitors and arduino boards, copy code internet and add arduino and PAM all have ready to fly. and have lot lot better realistic than this buyer shit plastic parts fake cocpit.
Great job flightshops! This covid19 thing got me and my flight school grounded , so I started looking into chair-flying :) .
So , I went ahead and got the system and all the components priced out. Came up to CAD $4500 including 49" Samsung LC49HG90DMNXZA curved screen and Saitek Rudder pedals, trackir and an additional nav/com panel.
I did go with RTX2080 hoping the Microsoft FS2020 will be running on it sooner or later.
I did not budget the avionics panel though, as I am planning to CNC and fabricate it myself in my own woodworking factory as part of the entire cockpit .
I love planes as a retired us army Iraq war vet I served in Germany at ramstien airbase that’s when they had the F4 phantom so loud but I been in love with planes every since I was little your video is so cool I enjoyed it very much so realistic especially talking to ATC even the view was realistic looks like fun gob bless have a great day gentlemen
Love Pilot Edge! Controllers get very busy and a little crabby sometimes. Build a cockpit like OnTheGlideSlope and used touch screens and AirManager to build G1000 and steam panels. LOVE IT!
I want to build a sim like this at home, I hold my private’s license and always have used the sim as training but being able to immerse like this is something I always wanted keep up the good work and fantastic video
This was so well cut. I love how you jumped between the different timelines. Made even better that you did the editing on the road (or in the sky)!
Thanks for noticing the post production work - I always appreciate feedback on that; and especially in this case it was a pretty tough edit.
I had no idea how advanced those things are! I saw one like 30 years ago that someone had at home, and it looked more like a video game than anything I'd take seriously. They're amazing now! Thanks for sharing, Steve - I'd have had no idea just how far they have come! 👍👍
Watching your video and looking for info on the GNS 430, I realized the xponder feature on my radio stack while flying from KMAI to KCTJ. Great video and welcome to the addiction.
Dial in YYZ ... and that Rush song started playing in my head.
Good seeing you at Expo again! Good luck with your new sim
Wow what an awesome set up for your flight sim rig! Blows me away! I just started flying flight sims again, after many years off, I flew them cir years when younger then git busy with life. Now I'm retired and have bern wat hing so many aviation videos that I wanted to start learning the systems, like navigation, and even hope to learn IFR flying but am now learning X Plane 11, it's been good but takes a LOT of power from both CPU's and Graphics card! I'm just using my old joystick with a twist grip for rudders. I used to compete in a WW2 Flight sim IL2 Sturmovik some years back and that was great fun, but it didnt teach me about real flight with navigation & communication, radios, GPS etc.
If you are able to actually use the flight sim set up to get help get your Insteument rating that will be awesome!
I didnt catch what simulator program you are using? XPlane 11 or something else? Maybe I better read the video description info! Great video!
How does one enter to win a rig like that?
Nice to see Keith from PE on with you :) He and the whole PE team are awesome. Very happy for you and from the looks you've got an excellent sim to practice on!
Wow, I had no idea that FSims hardware had come so far. I just have a joystick and X-Plane and thought that was pretty cool but this looks awesome. Great videos which inspire and instruct. Keep it up.
Built a pc from scrap parts so I could fit a modern sim in the budget. It has been great for getting proficient in procedures. Actual physical gps and radios look amazing!
Can you help me. I’m looking to build one as well
Really cool set up. I've dreamed of a realistic set up like that since I was a kid!! I got a fancy joystick but that's as far as I've gotten. It's nice to see they are marketing more consumer friendly set ups for everyone.
You made the right call with the realsimgear 430. I used my sim extensively before I got my ticket, and now I use it for proficiency, but I'm getting increasingly annoyed by the mouse-driven GPS, and it makes it no fun. But it's super important to use it to stay proficient. I can't believe how much I've lost in just three months even with staying "current".
Absolutely. Manipulating the radio and the GPS is a cumbersome task with the mouse. I picked up a dedicated GPS unit a little while ago (not quite as good as the RealSimGear, this one doesn't have a working dispay, it's just the GPS head unit) and was really glad I did. It's the only additional peripheral I've added in 20+ years of continuous simming. It's helped quite a bit.
Super awesome Steve!
You definately need to check out the A2A accusim planes, you’ll love the detail in engine management. It’s another level in realism.
They have an awesome T-6
Pilotedge is AMAZING. Download some ortho for the PE Region and the realism will increase 10 fold great video would love to see you doing full recorded flights on PE and relating it back to your real world experience
It was an eye opener going to the FlightSimExpo. I knew I was never alone as a flight simmer but I also never had seen so many with the same interest as I. It was certainly refreshing. This was more inspiring than I expected. I am getting a panel and going for my Private License soon. I have to educate myself first. I've been simming since 1983 and I believe it is time to get my wings.
PrePeyMad Flight - Awesome, and yes I totally agree on FSExpo, I was blown away to see the community in action.
Really great topic! Thanks for highlighting the benefits of flight sims for real pilots. It's tough to make time to stay proficient as a VFR pilot. I too find that I can keep my head in the game in between trips to the real airport just by spending an hour each night after work on the flight sim. X-Plane 11, Three 27" Monitors and TrackIR makes it very real. Now, I just need to spend the extra for all the dials to complete the feel.
Great great video, FSExpo, sim building nuts and bolts, PilotEdge, John's great SLAVX panels (we love them), RealSimGear amazing avionics all woven together - so clever!
Awesome jump into simming! It's super addictive.... CPU is spot on since it looks like your doing XPlane, the combat sims (IL2 and DCS) are much more multi-core / AMD friendly and better optimized. IL2:BoX especially.
I honestly though think you should have splurged on the yoke/pedals & throttle quadrant though, 2080ti is absolute overkill for most applications, and you can turn down the resolution / options to get the FPS you need. Yoke and pedals especially as the cheap throttle quads can work for the interim while you work up to something more. Really the controls are absolutely 100% the most important components of a flight simulator rig hands down. Headtracking / VR second (and yes you can use a 1070ti or equivalent and have a great experience).
Not to mention with the number of subscribers you have I would almost guarantee some of the companies would send you stuff to use for visibility.
I just started my Pilot training and I am looking at getting a simulator for home. It's a great way for student pilots to go over their maneuvers and emergency procedures. The ATC part was unreal, I haven't gone through communicating with ground yet. But I expect that to come sooner than later in my lessons from my flight instructor.
Steven, the PilotEdge web site has a section called "Pilot Center" and under that, Supplemental Programs. Two programs that could be hlpeful for you are "Getting Started with Simluation" and "VFR Communications Manual." ATC communications are typically not well taught in most training programs. It's almost as though students are somehow expected just pick it up through osmosis...it really is an afterthought in most flight training environments. Those two resources might help you out quite a bit. Full disclosure, I was involved in the creation of both of them, but I wouldn't recommend them if I didn't think they were 100% relevant to your situation.
Look like you can learn new things in this for the real world of flying and afford to mess up where in the real world you can't afford to mess up. I'm just a sim pilot but it look cool to have the sim as a training tool for this reason.
I really hope you will do some sim videos showing ILS, GPS approaches etc. It would be neat for you to do a short IFR sim flight from startup to shutdown maybe with a missed approach and diversion to alternate.
That looks awesome! Thanks for sharing it with us. I’m no longer able to fly as pilot in command in the real world and I’ve been occupying myself with drones and with VR, but to be able to fly a simulator would be incredible. Especially a realistic panel with knobs and switches and dials like you were able to get in your video. I’ll check out the website you suggested but I’m going to have questions. I hope you keep up with more videos on the subject. Again, Thanks so much for sharing this with us. It would be a dream come true for an old man to fly again.
Happy to help, ask away!
Thanks for the quick response. I’m full of questions and I’ll take you up on asking them. I’m going to do some research before getting too deep. I want to be a little bit smarter before I trip over my enthusiasm but right now this is looking like a done deal. You say the panel for the giveaway is about $2,000 worth of equipment. Can I just order what I want and have a tech build it? Thanks again and thanks for your help.
What are you using for your monitor?
You ever get your own setup?
Very cool sim setup and I really like the concept behind this and your upcoming episodes on this topic. I've been a flight simmer since the mid 80s. We've come a very long way...
I agree with Jason over at TFP. Sims are a great way to practice procedures or learn avionics - and they're a ton of fun. They're a lousy way to learn to fly. Having access to a good sim (and a ham radio license) sped up my training immensely, but it wasn't 100% positive. I learned some bad habits in the sim because it just doesn't work exactly like a real plane. Cost me a couple hours of avgas and instructor to correct what I thought I knew.
Matt Heere - Totally agree. Avionics good, eye candy scenery or replicating white clouds on a screen (IMC), doesn’t come close to replicating that. Don’t build too much confidence in them, just learn those Avionics well and optimize that SPRM (Single Pilot Resource Management).
I use X-Plane 11 - Zibo Mod 737! Sometimes I fly on P3D as well, and use both on Vatsim or Pilotedge.
Wow id love a sim like that, amazing. Good luck to everyone!
I love your setup - aside from the cost you had the right people to help you set it up - great job - I hope you got your instrument rating
Thanks! And yeah, I got it :)
ruclips.net/video/ry790HovM6k/видео.html
This is a great way on somewhat of a budget to get a great sim setup. I loved dragging the controls to the window and maximizing and poof! all set!
Hello, im a long time simmer and have some experience with it. Have the Sytek yoke (the same one you have) On the back of the yoke on the left side there is a push to talk button, i use VATSIM personally and it makes it more realistic, i noticed you were using the top red button.
Hey, Horizon Air! I used to be a 121 dispatcher for them when they flew Dash-8 100/200, Do328, and F-28.
Wow! I got chills watching this!!!! What an awesome set up, it’ll help so much with IFR training. Thanks for the video!
I'm doing my check ride next month, thank you for inspiring me getting back into flying!
jeff martin - Good luck, passed mine on Sunday!
Video editing on an airline tray table - Now that's dedication
I rarely comment on videos but FC this was EXCELLENT Thank You!
What a fantastic setup for learning and creating your new heightened comfort level!
Nice setup. Wouldn't have thought about making the GPS another screen like that. Pretty conservative on space too.
Great video. I feel like I need to wait for details on the new Microsoft Flight Simulator that was just announced last week before I build a dedicated Flight Sim rig. I'll be curious to see if the specs of that game significantly change the hardware that should go into this kind of rig.
Another addon is FSX Flight, it allows foreflight in the sim and I love it! It even shows traffic in VATSIM as well as a pilotedge, it’s $20 USD.
Impressive kit set up and interesting video. I am now wanting to build a sim after spending many years maintaining military aircraft. Great job
I know some of the people who work as ATC on Pilot Edge. They are very nice people, glad to see you get an awesome sim setup!
Great video. I'm working on my flight sim special which will come out in a few weeks.
Cool :D
Niko's Wings - Solid, let me know if we can be of any assistance or if you lose an engine around the northern part of Chicago, we can grab a beer, eh.
Please explore VR simming. Going back to 2-D flying would be brutal for me. A physical yoke and pedals are all you need. Once I experienced XPlane's native VR, I never looked back.
Would love to see it,
That sounds great!!! Can't wait!!
Like many said already it was great to see you at the Expo n attend your seminar.
This was just such a great video! I honestly wish that people doing there flight training, myself included, can afford to make a home flight sim to help out with training because it does help you get the feeling that a mouse and keyboard cannot. Hope you enjoy your sim!
Is there a break down on costs for everything? How much was spent? Would love to build something like this, but need to figure out if I can really afford it.
Check out 16:06. He says it :)
I love flight simulation! I too am a cockpit builder :)
I have an RV living full time. I took out my dinning set up to try and build a cockpit. keeping in mind I am not a builder. seeing your set up is amazing. thank you for sharing.
Lovely setup! Making me anxious to get back behind the controls, haven’t flown since I got my PPL financial issue but my mind and dream is still alive...
DCS, Digital Combat Simulator, plus VR, plus Thrustmaster A10 HOTAS, equals heaven.
What are you running for GPU? I have a 2080 with Xplane VR and it struggles.
I tried DCS after a while yesterday and it seemed better optimized than it has been in the past.

Any chance to get a component list of the build? Need to upgrade my old sim soon.

His build looks a lot like the computer that Jetline systems use. I got a custom PC from them for VR flight training purposes with the Navy and here are my specs:
Chassis: NZXT H500 Mid-Tower, Black
Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Ultra, LGA 1151
Processor: Intel 9th Gen Core i7 9700K (4.9GHz Turbo Core) Eight-Core
CPU Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H60 CPU Liquid Cooling

System Power: 750 Watt Corsair RM Series Power Supply
Sound Card: 7.1 High Definition Integrated Audio
Primary Drive: 500GB Samsung 860 EVO, V-NAND SATA (SSD)
Here's a parts list: pcpartpicker.com/list/QjGwRJ You can swap some cheaper components if you like. This has good storage, plus the same chip & GPU from the video, plus a good airflow/cooling case, powersupply. Note, this usses the same GPU/video card, and the one they used is VERY expensive. ($1,200 of the $2,500 total)
Thanks for the help here guys - I've since "pinned" a comment with the list and also added it to the description with links
FlightChops thanks so much!
Wow! That rig looks awesome! I hope to catch up with you on pilotedge!
That’s incredible. I love how far the flight sim technology has come, and can only imagine how much further it will go.
Could you get your pc guy to put together a PCpartpicker link?
I'm a 14-year-old future pilot and it would be amazing to be able to practice on the setup
I'm 14 and a flight fanatic too lol. Wish flight lessons weren't so expensive ಠ_ʖಠ

Great flight Chops. The key to the simulation though is not the technology as much as the human ware. Instruction is the answer. Not just any instructor, but someone who can translate real world from simulated.
I can't wait to see you try a flight sim in VR for the first time. Make sure you capture that experience on camera, lol.
Also, Flyinside is an up and coming VR focused sim that will take advantage of your multi-core setup.
Awesome buddy and great work, very happy for you, living the dream (o:
Btw , you can interface foreflight as your gps . It works great .
Yes, you can have the sim drive ForeFlight. However, ForeFlight is not an IFR-approved GPS. He still needs to be familiar with the Garmin GPS unit, that's why it's included in the sim.
coma13794 I built a similar Sim myself .
coma13794 have a look : ruclips.net/video/wFrYPQC4teo/видео.html
coma13794 I know the 430 I also trained on glass too ( g1000)

That set up is awesome. You and your team have every right to crow about it and be proud of yourselves...well done...Have a good one 👍
1. What was the music in the video? Some good stuff
2. Looks like a freaking awesome setup, Steve!!! Can't wait to hear how you've used it and how it has helped you in future videos
A2A T6 Texan is my favorite plane in my sim. AMAZING! I am sure you would appreciate it if you have not tried it yet :)
I'm sure he'll pick it up! Lol
North bend/ Coos Bay is my home town! Very cool shout out for North Bend, Or.
Wow ! Amazing setup I could only dream of !
Great video. Probably a decade before I touched the controls of an airplane I started having fun on early flight sims. You'd mentioned early on in the vid that you were aiming for a budget. Just curious what that budget was and how close the final product came to that target. Thanks.
Would love it. How do i enter the giveaway?
Even though i am more of a combat sim pilot i would still love to have this sim.
Oh well, going to try.

OMG THIS IS EPIC SIM, Great job, and this was a serious fantasy of mine, I’ve already made room for it, I will be waiting for this like a kid waiting for Christmas!!!!!!!! Yep
As a kid I galloped on foot next to the horse...now I can fly from the seat in my office...and see the same scenery...btw

I know this video is more geared towards flight simming, but wow that guitar collection! I am also a guitarist and flight simulator, I'm digging your collection man! Especially the Les Paul and the JS100!
Thanks. Actually only half the guitar wall is shown in this video.
Good job! I built a flight simulator myself last year with almost the same specs, except I have the older 1080 ti instead of 2080 ti. I'm currently running Xplane VR with an oculus rift, and while it's an flight simulator experience on a completely different level (being to have 360 degree vision is unbelievably helpful for looking for ground references), there are some shortcomings for VR flight simming. A couple of biggest downfall for me is you can't see where your physical controls are, so sometimes you'll bump a control or your table with the VR googles on, and once in a while I"ll encounter microstutter and that will reset the default viewing angle. Let me know if you have any questions about VR.
VR is fantastic for pattern work and formation flying. I believe it's a poor candidate in its current form, though, for end to end IFR flying because of how challenging it is to review approach plates, copy clearances, and to manipulate the radios that are needeed when flying online with ATC. One of FlightChops' goals is to become more comfortable with the Garmin 430. Short of having haptic gloves and really high resolution headsets, VR is probably the single worst environment to practice that task. His current hardware is ideal for it.
Did you use a website called pcpartpicker.com
where did you get the equipment at
Yeah... frames pr. seconds is king
Nice setup, I just took my commercial Instrument Helicopter FAA written, for my military comp. Can’t wait to start my fix wing training.
I use the older generation of this card Rog strix GTX 1080 for VR vive pro . it still works great. I paid 500 for it years ago used on eBay now its still worth the same on eBay. I got atleast half or more what i paid for all the individual parts I sold from my last pc to upgrade to the on I have now. its not the worst investment as far as Electronics go. I need the next generation of VR to come out before I upgrade.
I created an Instagram page just for you guys! Awesome set up!
God I hope I win. This has been a childhood dream of mine to have a home sim! It’s time to strive for that dream😃
Ben Banovetz - #lifegoals - love it. 🤟
Good luck!
Same for me, my man. I wish you the best of luck in the competition and I'd be very happy for you if you win (tough I hope I win as well lol) :D
Maarten Weyns Thank you! I wish the best for you too!
Stay Level Avionix, LLC Thanks!😃
Awesome. Thank you for the opportunity. This would be great practice to help my dream of getting my private pilot's license.
Another excellent video! I love watching the totally rad things you go around and do. Also my dream setup! They're not playing around with that 2080 Ti. I currently fly with a T-Flight Hotas X (not great, but better than a mouse and keyboard). I love flight sim, and I aspire to become a seasoned pilot and this would be a great way to get my fix when I may not have too many other options.
this 2080ti is a complete waste of money. Mahy RUclips videos will prove it. The CPU is the limiting factor in X-Plane, and it won't use fancy stuff the w080TI supports such as ray tracing.
