This was a very informative interview. I just recently came upon VOA and EE through Napalm Records. I was wondering why Amanda left EE after the first album. But just today I was watching the live EE "Rhapsodies in Black" and it seemed that Amanda was pregnant which would definitely explain it, especially if she had twins. Even as a 66-year-old straight male, I find female vocalists in any genre very appealing. In fact, I think of the dozens -- or hundreds -- of artists I've enjoyed over the decades, the majority have been fronted by women. I listened through "Femme Fatales" four times this afternoon as I worked in the house.
