Warren Buffett is great roll model to the world not because he is wealthy but because he is humble. He started young and focused on the same endeavor his whole life, he is a prime example of what time and persistence can accomplish. He made many mistakes but perseverance and determination made him a winner. Like baseball if you fail 7 out of 10 times at the plate you are a superstar. Great players in life just keep on swinging. I'm 24 years younger than him and would live on dog food and live in a tent just to have his knowledge and good health, amazingly he eats junk food. Money does not change a person it only reveals him. Warren Buffett was great when he was 20 years old because successful people are successful before they become successful! Hope he reads this and lives to be 100.

The internet really is great isn't it? Once you get beyond all the porn and memes and realise you can educate yourself to a high level and pay nothing.
We don't even know, what we don't know. You can do it with incredible perseverance.
The argument for school is that it will teach you what it is we dont know to ask, then it will teach you how to answer those questions. Figuring an answer, when you have to ask yourself what the questions is, is hard. Disadvantage of the internet on it's own. But with an education, you are so much more powerful using it

“The richest people are often not the smartest. Most of the rich people in USA, probably also in the UK wouldn’t have done this well if they operated in Bangladesh or a place like that. They think they are so raw by themselves but the society has done a lot for them.” - Warren Buffett
That is why we the people from Bangladesh or places like that feels moving to USA, CANADA, UK etc. as an achievement.
I know the feeling of being trapped and cannot advance. Yes moving to USA, Canada, UK is a short cut, but USA, Canada, UK cannot take everyone who want sot come. I think the solution is for countries around the world to imitate what America, Canada, UK has done, and create the same environment that allows Americans, Canadians, and Britons to excel. It's not and easy task; but not impossible either. Singapore has done it within one generation's time.
Because the governments in this other countries set u up for failure

@@sfbluestar But then look at what's happening conversely: here in the U.S. we have all that you've mentioned: yet some here (born and bred) think what we have is so evil and degenerative, all because every single person won't achieve the same success or something near that level. All that needs to happen is for enough people (percentage-wise) to achieve multi-millionaire status and the rest of the country can be uplifted, psychologically as well as financially. It tends to start a chain reaction of inspiration. But then not everyone wants to be rich. Some people are minimalists and are content with much less.
All of you have points, but you know society has a big role in how we think, how we grow what we want to achieve in life.
