I watched her Stanford College Videos and she was hitting those threes back then. Why hasn't Christie played her more to gain confidence. Lexie helped Stanford win 2 National Championship's with Cameron Brink. I didn't realize they played together.
Yeah, she's actually got a natural 3-pt shot and she was hitting them back at Stanford, I think she's just had to adjust her shot to the WNBA game and defense. That's the main problem that I'm having since this is Lexie's 3rd year in the league, Sides should have more confidence in getting her more minutes, especially with the energy and defense that she provides. Sides always prioritizes defense, so this is surprising that she doesn't get more minutes. Yep, she's got championship experience and did it with Cameron Brink. Brinky was a youngster when Lexie was there, I believe it was Brinky's first two seasons at Stanford. Should we start thinking about Brink to Indiana in the future when she becomes a free agent? LOL!
Lexi needed someone that could take the best players on other team away from her and CC has done that and that's help Mitchell greatly also . Lexie will get only better because her best friend Clark will take all the best defenders

Once she gets more minutes and gets even more comfortable with Caitlin, I think that's where she will eventually settle in at on points because she's going to turn into a very good corner 3-pt shooter. Her defense is thriving, she has DPOY potential to me on that end. She's still young and has more room to develop and playing next to Caitlin the skies the limits for her. Awesome post!
