Ive only ever noticed the valves being super effective or drastically different on the MPE. I have the mppsk on my 340 and the difference is night and day between on and off. Love the sound on your 240 and your other videos man, keep up the great work!
@@mevans313 very true haha i lucked out that the prior owner added it on to the car. I actually had no idea it was on there until i came to buy it but man was it a pleasant surprise!
Yeah, with the valve closed in person it is just the slightest bit quieter and reduces some of the raspiness…honestly not much of a difference though, I’m not sure why BMW even bothered with the valve in the first place 🤷♂️
@@NWAuto Probably not, I just picked up an Active Autowerke high flow catted downpipe for less than half price this week! That’s gonna be going on soon, which is why I decided to record these clips for comparison later. That’ll probably be loud enough for me.
The valve are not really connected to the button sport or comfort thats an auto set due to the exhaust temperature bmw told me and i find it really strange cause i noticed thats xhen im pushing harder the sound is less important, do you have the same? Sry for rnglish im french

Thank you! I do agree the MPPSK valves make a way bigger difference. Though, it better for $2000!

@@mevans313 yes not much of a difference
Maybe the valve is basically there to have a faster heat up of the cat after start up of the engine
@@mevans313 planning on getting a new muffler eventually?

I controlled the valve opening and closing manually via the BimmerLink app for this video!
i did not see a difference
Exactly, it was an experiment lol
