I cut all my hair off in February and I’m waiting for it to grow back to a decent length so I can start my sister locs, I got discouraged when my father said he didn’t like locs on me but I don’t care anymore

Thanks for watching! Yeah, when I was loose natural, I read somewhere how drying with a t-shirt is better than using a towel. I can't remember why but I've stuck to it lol

I'm new to the Sisterlock journey and will be washing my hair Sunday. How do I rinse the shampoo mixture out? My sisterlock consultant ram out of the Sisterlock take home kits😩 so I've forgotten everything she's told me about wash day. Please help
Shante Bohrer You can rinse the poo while your locs are braided/banded and also let it dry that way. 👌🏾
Hiiiii!!! I’m new to your channel and I got my install completed August 25th. I was looking at the cap, some reviews on it complained of dye fading on their linens. Did you have a problem with dye bleeding from the cap? Also have you experienced any slippage since wearing a cap at night?
Montrelia Burns 👋🏾 👋🏾!! Yayyy welcome! The dye ran a bit on me too. I ran it through the wash and ended up hand washing it until it cleared up. After that, I’ve had no issues. No slippage at all while wearing it! No frizz or thinning edges like with some head gear.

Is it always important to dry your hair braided? What happens if I take out my braids while wet?
I've made this mistake on my starter locs 3mths and my roots married. I was painful pulling them apart. I don't like to hear my roots snap.

The Sisterlocks site has a list of their consultants in each state and they're listed by city. Facebook also has groups; I'm part of "Locked & Loving It" and people are constantly posting helpful information.

Shopgyal Oh yes. My hair is still locking. I have about 6 months to go before I think I'll get the thumbs up to stop.
how often should I shampoo
I try to wash once a week, 2 weeks max. It’s been working out for me. Once a week for sure in the summer or if I’ve been working out a lot.
