    Great overview. We have the Stagepas 1k MKII, my daughter is a singer, we play backing tracks via bluetooth using an iphone for convenience. One thing we have noticed is that some songs make a crackling high pitch squeak almost. I assume its down to the input volume being too loud from the iphone. But it only happens on certain songs. Is there a way to make sure that the input volume is consistent on all tracks, without having to manually play with the vollume and EQ nobs for each song? Not sure if this is a common thing with this kind of setup. Thanks.

    Do you plug it in? Or does it charge up and operate freestanding for a gig.
    I don’t need extra power sources.
    Does it operate in AC only or also DC power?

    can you use these with a unpowered separate mixer still? Or will i have to use the onboard mic inputs and mixer?

      Simply connect your mixer into the line inputs at the back of the unit.

    Thanks for the video! If using outboard desk with Stagepas 1K mkII + DXL1K, is there still the EQ available?

      Will find out the answer and get back to you on this, thank you for asking this question!

      If you connects your mixer into an input on the STAGEPAS 1K MK2, you will have the EQ available.
      You need to set the channel gain to line level so as not to clip the input coming into the channel...hope this helps!

    Does it have phantom power? A must I think.

    • @DIGITALDJGEAR
      @DIGITALDJGEAR  Год назад +1

      They do not offer phantom power,!
      Perhaps the thinking here is most people using these columns are not using them with a +48v mic?
      Shure SM58 or Sennheiser e835 are probably most commonly used with systems like this!

    Please. Stop calling it an array. It's not an array. It's a column. It's nowhere near long enough to be an array. when you call it an array, it makes you sound like you have no idea what you're talking about.

    Is this setup suitable for an audience of 500pax?

    • @DIGITALDJGEAR

      Which setup? One of each unit? I would say yes but also does depend on the room itself

      @@DIGITALDJGEARyes the exact setup that you are demonstrating in this video clip.

    • @DIGITALDJGEAR
      @DIGITALDJGEAR  Год назад +1

      Yes! But you might want 1 or 2 more in back of the room if the room is large (depends on acoustics, etc)@@RevNeilDDavies
