Cool man! I‘am about deciding wether to buy the rc505 or sp404. Want to make similar music like you. Owning Microbrute, drumbrute, some volcas etc. Also a Handpan, guitars, percussion. Going to create songs, to release. No live looping. Which device would you choose from both? Cheers, Nosto
Hey! Both the 404 and 505 are sooooo different, but compliment each other so well! You can sample/resample stuff on the 404 to create full songs and the 505 is great for recording everything into, almost like a looping tape deck. It sounds like you have some really cool stuff in your studio so I would try to get the 505 as a central hub for the studio and then later on get the 404 to sample everything and trigger into the 505 for recording. I hope this makes sense! Thanks so much for your comment and your support.
Love those big circular buttons on the 505. They're kind of silly but they invite interaction! Who wouldn't want to push a big round button!?
I mean, right?!?! It’s nice to whack those things. Wish the rest of the build quality was a little better though. VERY plasticky.
You are a lord! I always wonder what those sounds were to begin with!
A LORD?!?!?! =)
