Got the 41 mm on my wrist! As a dude who still wants a relatively lowkey watch that doesn’t make me look goofy w a ben10 sized watch on a 5’7 dude, this is a good size that doesn’t look too small either!
True should be a good size
I’m thinking along similar lines. I am a 5‘9“ man with a slender frame and wondering if the 45 mm size might be just a tiny bit too large.
5’5 woman and I have a 45mm - it’s fine with me but it all depends on preference. I don’t mind the bigger screen but I did buy a thinner band so it looks more feminine.
I’m only 5’6 but I’m getting the 45mm because I’m pushing 60 years young and my vision ain’t so hot and isn’t getting better. I always have to adjust the fonts to the max so I can see text messages. I don’t care if it looks like I got Big Ben on my wrist… the main thing is it makes my life a little easier.
sameeeeeeee bro, I literally told the guy from apple that I didn't wanted to look like the ben10 guy, but Idk the 45mm makes the arm look more masculine, im like 60/40
I’ve had the 41 for a little while now and it is exceptional coming from a series 3 38mm. Not too big but you can easily navigate many settings.
I got the 41mm and I’m glad I did - and I have big arms. Men’s watches have grown to ludicrous proportions in the last few decades. I tried on a 50’s Rolex a year ago and it looked tiny by comparison to today’s timepieces, but it was still so much more stylish.
sure bud
ok bud
@@mikechivy I was thinking the same this is definitely a chick or small man that posted this, because no man with big arms wants the 41 mm! My wife is 5 foot nothing 100 pounds and the 41 mm watch doesn’t even look big on her.
Great comparaison, I love the part between the 42mm and the 41mm it’s very clear for get you’re own idea.
Thanks
The side by side shots are appreciated.
I would get the 41mm but I have so many 44mm/42mm straps & I love the backward compatibility with straps that it doesn't seem worth it to throw them all out & re-buy straps for the smaller watch. So I ended up getting a 45mm which should arrive by the end of this month (some weird delay hitting Apple Watches in 2022) & this way I can keep using my favourite bands. I did decide to grab a titanium version this time around because I'm not a fan of the blue-ish Midnight colour that Apple now offers for the Aluminum. I don't like how heavy the stainless steel ones are so it'll be interesting to try the titanium. I hope it doesn't scratch easily, I ordered the Space Black colour.
This was an excellent video and just what I was looking for! Thank you!
Hi , do I have to use celluar or can I decide when to use with cellular and it will work also without ? thanks for you quick unswer
Happy I got the 45 just because it looks better on my endomorphic wrists
Thanks for the video it’s what made me make my choice
Thank you I always look forward to seeing your reviews!
I bought the 41mm this time. I have an Apple Watch SE right now but I think the 45mm would be too big for my small wrist
As a guy, I had the 44 millimeter and now I switched to 41 (the 40 always felt small). And the 41 sits much nicer on the wrist and looks much more elegant and much more special and less like some TV on the wrist.
What about the wristbands you had? Do they fit the 41?
@@cvalentiner7 the 40 band fit to the 41 watch
What is your wrist size?
@@mike115115 Well, the thing is I have the Series 3 42mm, and I have about 10 different wristbands - a considerable investment. I assume the 42/44mm bands only work with the new 45mm, and not the 41mm. So unless I ditch the current watch bands I am stuck with the 45mm which I think has become too big 🙂
@@cvalentiner7 is the Apple Watch Series 3 42 mm and the Apple Watch Series 7 41 mm similar in size?
I have a small wrist & had a Samsung Galaxy 46mm for the last 3yrs so I went w/ the Series 7 45mm. Love it. Got it to match my iPhone 12 Pro Max
Please would you let me know where did you get the dust pink bands and case, they look amazing
I have a small wrist but I still picked up the 45 mm since I wanted the bigger display and I don't mind bigger displays so it ended out working for me.
I purchased my Apple series 8 at Costco. Unfortunately they don’t give you the option to try it on before you buy and I did not go and try it on anywhere else. My old series 4 was a 41. I believe so I ended up purchasing the 45. My thought was I already had a smaller face so if I ever want to alternate between the two, I have the option I have small wrists and I absolutely love the large watch face. It has much more real estate and so much easier to use.
This vid and these comments are super helpful as I’m buying this for my sister, thanks!
Thank you. Excellent review
very helpful. thank u 🤜🤛
My Apple Watch Series 7 45mm will be delivered tomorrow. Coming from series 3, 42mm.
Your video is so helpful.
This is exactly what I needed, I ordered the Nike Apple Watch 7 series GPS + CELLULAR 41mm and I was thinking about if I shoulda got the 45 but now I’m sure, the 41 is the way to go, thanks man!
How is it?
hi i need advice, i will buy apple wach my wrist size is 160mm should i order apple wach series 7 size 41mm or 45mm?
Thank you for the great video , I have small wrist but I ordered 45 titan because I can’t see well with the 41 , hope it will be ok

Sorry if I missed it, did you mention how big your wrist is?
I was thinking about getting the series 3 but I think the screen is to small so I think I will get the 41mm series 7
I’m a woman with a 9 inch wrist. I currently have the Series 0 in 38mm so I can’t wait to get the 7 in 45mm so it doesn’t look like i got it from a happy meal.
don’t make a choice based on what people might say. it’s what’s good for you‘ll go for. I got 45mm because the screen is larger (not like samsung tv screen) so people‘s opinion don’t matter

I've ordered the 41mm watch 8, I went to Apple store to try both today, 41 & 45, they both looked 9k but I have tiny wrists and the 41 looked neater so I know I've made the right choice! 👍🏻🙂🇬🇧
Does 45 mm watch strap works with 41 mm watch? Thank you in advance.
My Fiancé got me the 41mm for Christmas and I’m fine with it. I’ve been a watch collector for 30 years and most of my watches are between 39mm-42mm(I have a Breitling that’s 44mm) which I prefer. Todays giant watch sizes are already starting to get back to a more reasonable size anyway.
This helped me a lot, thank you!
How do you choose between wearing just Apple Watch or wearing one of your watches AND a Apple Watch?
@@SixOwe Tough one. When I first got the Apple Watch I was wearing it a lot. Now it’s in a rotation with my other watches.
Would have been way more useful had he actually measured his wrist. Or even told us his height because he seems on the smaller side. Nothing wrong with that of course. It would have just been more informative for the viewer.
Right? I'm 6'2 with large wrists by nature (skinny guy), and the 45 is small compared to a typical G shock or even my citizen. This makes it sound like its a massive watch. It is FARRRRRR from huge
@@mikechivy Haha yep. I have the 44mm SE and it's as small as I'd ever want to go. The other thing is the band size. I have the Extra Large band that fits up to 245mm wrists and I use the 3rd to last notch. For reference, I'm 6'4" with a 21cm (210mm) wrist.
Great video
Getting 41 mm green one soon so excited,, 1st time apple watch and iphone😄
I am getting my first Apple Watch tomorrow so excited

I got my first apple watch too in green
To see the 45mm on a small wrist looks like a small TV if you have a small go with the 41
Today I got the 45mm. I pre ordered it. I came from the SE 44mm. Got it as a Valentine’s Day gift from my fiancé. I literally got the series 7 for the keyboard, and the blood oxygen checks.
Great video. If I may make a suggestion. Try to filter out the sound of your deep breaths when editing the video. They come across kind of loud and distracting. Seems like you were running while recording the video
Love my new Apple Watch love the larger size
I ordered the 41mm since the 44 is out of stock for so long
I prefer and went with the graphite stainless steel 45mm
I am 5’9” 155lbs, I used the 41 for a couple days then switched to 45 the only difference to me is it is easier to use the touch screen on the 45. Both fit my wrist fine. I tried the ultra2 in the store, definitely to big for me.

Yes totally agree the 45mm looks ridiculous on 99% of wrists.!!! Seriously take a close detailed look it looks like a wall clock or even big ben
@@MrLoughneagh It isn't at all if you have above average wrists. That's also become a norm to have a big watch on a wrist, and compared to some of my analog watches, its not overly big at all. Don't let all these comments deter from going larger, just cause it doesn't work for this guy. For reference, my G-Shock G120 is way way bigger, and my citizen eco drive is larger than the 45 mm as well. Best bet is to try them on I guess, but someone with a semi larger wrist would benefit from the 45 I think.

Bought the 7 41mm to my wife , battery drains way faster than previously 3 42mm . Thinking change to the 45mm instead . Anyone had the same issue?
I have the 41mm and I believe that the battery lasts much longer. I’ve had the 3, 5 and now 7.
Your idea that the SLIGHTLY larger battery in the 45mm (1.189Wh vs 1.094Wh) will yield a longer life is flawed. Remember, the larger screen requires more battery usage. Just looking at at the numbers, I’m sure you can now see that there is no perceivable difference.
My advice: turn off the always on feature if you want the most out of your battery. Or at least adjust the display settings to limit battery consumption.
Just order my starlight 41 mm have to wait until December :/
I bought the 45 mm and it hurts my wrist 😬. Think I’m gonna swap it out for a 41.
Hello
Hi, I need advice on choosing a new Apple watch series 7. I have never had an Apple watch before, so I'm very hesitant about which size to choose. I originally wanted to buy a larger 45mm size, but then I was in the Apple Store and when I tried them, the watch was slowly bigger than my wrist. My wrist has a circumference of 145 - 150 mm, it depends on the tightening of the tape and I don't really know what size to take, because it's on the border with a larger size (according to the data on the Apple website). I have to say that I would really like the bigger ones, but the smaller ones looked much better on me and fit me much more. So what size should I choose?
If you could advise me what size you would choose in my place, I would really appreciate it and it would help me a lot. The main reason why I consider a larger size is that I want to have this watch for a longer period of time. What I've also heard and seen in various videos is the fact that a lot of people buy the smaller size, even though they used to use the 44mm before, and claim that the 45mm version of the watch is too big. Also one of the reasons why I hesitate is that by enlarging the display and reducing the frames, it seems to me that the 41mm version is not at all as small as I expected. If you could advise me on choosing a size and which size you would choose in my place, it would help me a lot. thank you very much
Your wrist is LESS than 6 inches. Why would you even ask? The 45mm is protruding beyond your wrist…
Really? You actually need to ask? Apple clearly states that your wrist is small and to go for a 41mm.
It seems that many people with a small wrist are looking for someone to tell them to go larger. Why? Because they want larger.
I feel as if you didn’t need assistance today, you were just looking for someone to go against what is obvious so that you could go against the obvious choice.
I have 150mm wrists and I’m definitely going in for the 41mm. As much as I love the idea of a bigger screen and a supposedly better battery life, it would look ridiculously big!
150mm wrists here as well, and I got the 41mm and I agree with Joshua, the 45mm would definitely protrude beyond the wrist.
My wrist size 150cm and I ordered 41mm gold stainless.
Omg 😱 you ve said all my concerns about this gadget lol. Me too my first time buying this apple watch and completely attracted to the 45. Even i have a small wrist as you ( same size) want to buy it for long too lol so pls guys help us to have the best. TIA 🌷🌷
Dark cases make wristwatches look bigger. Choose a bright case if you want to wear the 45mm version.
I totally agree. If you’re a little overweight darker clothes have a slimming effect and something bright seems to amplify the xtra pounds… I’ve got very slim wrists (slim not skinny…) but I’ve gone for the 45mm red and my friends whose opinions I can trust say my choice of size doesn’t look like the watch is wearing me! I’d recommend anyone thinking of buying the series 7 should visit an Apple Store and try both sizes to be sure they are 100% happy with the size they eventually buy. Videos like this should be considered informative but don’t let yourself be led to buying a certain size because that is what the reviewer says THEY prefer… it’s your wrist & your $$$/£££/€€€ at the end of the day so go for the size that YOU prefer and not the reviewer’s preference.
Wish they would do 43mm. 41 seems too small and 45 too big either way seems I might make a mistake this is an impossible decision 🙄😂
Hey, nice video!
I wonder what's your wrist size.
I have 6.5 wrist and I'm splited between 41mm and 45mm.
Maybe I'll try to get my hands on both and try them.
My wrist is 6 1/4. 45 is perfect, the other just looks too tiny, like a woman’s watch
Same concern
@@alycks6056 lol I’m a woman with small wrist but I’m completely attracted to the 45 mm just afraid of being bulky 😅
Alright, got my hands on both and 45mm it’s too bulky and 41mm looks too tiny 😅
If you are male with the same wrist size than me and you want a functional watch to do some sports or even sleep tracking maybe the 41mm it’s the right choice.
If not, try the 45mm and maybe it will fit your style.
I’ll go for the 45mm because I feel that tiny watches don’t look good on me, but it’s a personal choice.
@@Kashmirtheone my wrist is (5 inch 1/2 ). I love big screen watches but can’t take risk with this one so what do u recommend for me since u checked both 🤓
I handed my older AW5 44mm down to my cousin and she found it to be too large on her wrist and she wore it only when she needed to track activity, preferring her Fitbit Alta for all day and night activity and sleep tracking. So I surprised her with the 41mm AW7 Nike Edition and it wound up being just right.
On the flip side, I tried the 41mm size on my wrist and it just felt too small. So aside from person preference on screen size, I’d say matching the watch size to the size of your wrist is important and it’s worth stopping by the Apple Store to try out both sizes if you are struggling to choose between the two sizes.
I do find it quite noteworthy that the viewable screen real estate of the smaller AW7 41mm is almost up to par to the 42mm screen of the larger AW1-3. Cost aside it doesn’t make very much sense to buy the AW3 new with the SE and the 7 providing better features across the board.
41 looks better overall, I don’t dig the Ben10 style you get from the 45.
Same
Just mentioning average male wrist didn’t help. Should have measured your wrist and told people the size that way we can all tell what works best. In my humble opinion even a 7” wish the 41mm would look great and not hanging off the sides line the 45mm
5'9 dude here, honestly both are okay if you are around my height range (5'7-5'10). Idk even see the difference, but I bought 45 mm cos its like $30 more. Had it been like $60-70 more then I would've bought the 41 mm
5’11 and accidentally ordered the 45 instead of 41 since I wanted one with cellular for my runs. Honestly isn’t as big as I thought it would be. Definitely worth the money.
Bro, wrist circumference of around 7.5 inches are better suited to a 40mm watch size, sure there are no lugs on an Apple Watch but aesthetically, the 41mm is better suited for the average man’s wrist….women just look weird with an Apple Watch, looks too big on them.
What’s up bro you roll?
Today, men's watches are expected to be oversized and cover the entire wrist. It just looks stupid in my opinion.
im on the fence whether i should go for 41 or 45mm, i have a 6.1-6.2inch wrist.
Mine is 6,5 inches and the 41mm is perfect, I had S6 44mm and I like these 41mm more

As a person who’s worn a 46mm watch for three years moving to a 40mm and 41mm was so stupid. Not only does apple watch represent a computer on a wrist, the small size made it look like a kids toy.
