Did you open the tablet with it powered up already? Or open/pin reset and hold until it comes on. Or was your tablet already on when you pushed the reset button?

Anyways, my screen started getting all these vertical lines going through it & you can’t do anything when it happens. I just figured out how to reset the thing with that little hole on the side. Now, if you need the options to pop up, hold left shift button & the reset button(little hole). Hold them long enough until you hear your laptop beeping then let go.
Does anyone know if this will be the same setup for a Lenovo V14 laptop with windows 10/ windows 11 setup? Also if setup the laptop with a new create account on the blue page for Microsoft account can you change that later after finish setup with new account by going back later somehow to put in/ install new Microsoft account in the laptop without possibly resetting the whole laptop such as a factory reset etc.? As I am completely new and using my Lenovo V14 laptop for 1st time originally had a Toshiba L850 pro with windows 7/ Windows 8.1 in the past. Thank you, Tom.

@@jackslaw5835 what model do you have? It's a small opening, I think on the right side of the laptop. Neighbor gave me an S145, which worked, but needed the power jack replaced. So I replaced it. Got it fully charged, then turned it off. Then used a SIM tray tool to insert in the small opening. Watch where the fellow here puts a paperclip in the opening. Same place! Thanks
Hi there! When going to troubleshoot and then advanced options and hitting :system restore", an error pops up saying I need to restart the computer, select an operating system, and then select system restore. I am really confused how to do this - please help!!(:
I have tried everything for months with my daughters laptop - it will NOT get to that advanced options on the blue screen. Its been left hours on end in a continuous "preparing automatic repairs" screen or on the "please wait screen" and has not moved on from there! I've left it for days until the battery has ran out on that screen and nothing. Any options on this because I've search high and low and all of the videos and tutorials has shown how to get to advanced options but not what to do if you can't even get there ! 😩

Yeah what you have to do is hover to the reset but don’t press then hold down ALT and shift together and press reset
