Huge borrowing for the benefit of few and family, then the suffering citizens were forced to pay through high taxes and increase utilities. At a time the government was going to IMF for bailout and associated hash conditions, Akoffo Addo could have cut down on the bloated government by half and Ghana could have saved about $1.5 billion, but the insensitive government decided to taxed the citizens. Massive youth unemployment, environmental degradation and institutionalized corruption was the legacy of Akoffo Addo.

Isaiah 40:31 says, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint".
This verse is a promise of strength for those who are weary, and is often interpreted as a message of hope during captivity and waiting. The verse is thought to be about the Israelites who were exhausted and burdened after living in exile in Babylon for decades.
The Hebrew word translated as "wait" in this verse can also mean "hope for" or "anticipate". Some say that waiting on the Lord is a place of rest where one can renew their strength and find fuel to soar with the eagles.

What was the verdict on Mahama and the ndc in 2016, wasn't it the same economic mismanagement, corruption and arrogance of power? So we think Mahama who we assessed as a failure in 2016, has been brought back because Nana Addo is worse than him, ignoring the fact that there were eleven other contestants on the ballot. Granted Bawumia who hasn't been president before, is Infested with Akufo Addo's baggage so we don't want him, how about the other 10 contestants on the ballot? By the way if l were to ask of all the vice presidents we've had in the history of Ghana, who has been the most effective and impactful, can anyone be honest in answering? Akufo Addo was not on the ballot for crying out loud and if we think we've punished him and the npp, we have done so to our detriment. Ghana doesn't have a developmental plan that serves as a template for governments, so the frequent changes in government will continue to set us back. Celebrate now but brace yourselves for a rude awakening.

Your comment is filled with pains because your favourite didn't win. To you Bawumia was the most effective vice in the history of Ghana. Opinion are like nose's everyone has one. Cry more because your rigging didn't work.🤣

Bawumia the economist has been vice president for 8 years and has never been able to stabilize the economy or the cedi.
Those are his areas of expertise and he failed woefully.
So what are you ranting about?
