      Thanks Kim, I really appreciate your support! The snow is starting to melt in the Colorado high country. I've got a slab poured for my shaker table and hope to be pulling ore out of a few bonanza veins here shortly :)

    Great way to start a morning looking at your rocks. Received my Cab King 6 inch six wheel wet grinder. I’ve polished a few stones and was pleased to find one of the sunstones I found in Oregon has 2 beautiful vails of copper shriller in both sides of the red gemstone. Love it. Can’t wait for the snow to melt. The hills are calling. May there be bacon and gold in your pan.

    My favorite detecting is at night, less noise, less distractions but that's for coins etc but for gold why not, it would be neat to get a target, locate it, and then see it under the headlamp, ton of fun.
    If I was in areas like you hunt I would get distracted with all the cool looking rocks lol

    • @ColoradoGoldCamp
      @ColoradoGoldCamp  3 года назад +1

      Night detecting is a whole new world. I know some guys detect the desert at night during the summer months to avoid the heat of day. It can be a bit scary though detecting with headphones one, in the dark, not knowing what creatures may be stalking you, that's why I wasn't wearing headphones ;) A slab of old silver would also look great under the headlamp!

    • @ColoradoGoldCamp
      @ColoradoGoldCamp  3 года назад +2

      The adventure is quite real Gabriel! Especially when you get miles from your vehicle, no cell phone reception and left to your own wits to fend for yourself. Research and preparation is very important. As far as entering old mines, it is best to not do that on your own, ever. The old saying is: Stay out Stay Alive! Be careful and good luck. The satisfaction you will get from finding something spectacular on your own is TREMENDOUS!
