As far as I know, these don't exist in Oppo's which still gives 2 years of updates while samsung gives 4.
Color OS has literally, LITERALLY come a long long way. From one of the most ugly looking UI to one of the best looking and functional OS. I don't use an Oppo phone but a Realme phone with Realme UI but we all know it's the same. Exciting days!!
I honestly wish so much all Android OEM's made the widget page that ColorOS has introduced. It could be so useful to have an entire page dedicated to widgets, instead of mixing them in with your homescreen icons. I especially have noticed a lack of space for widgets in my OneUI homescreen, since I have more than the average of homescreen icons.
ColorOS 13 honestly looks amazing and so will OxygenOS 13. I can't wait for it. People complaining about "OnePlus lost their way without stock Android", stock Android doesn't exist anymore and Google's take on Android 13 is a disaster in usability IMO.
A super informative video covering colorOS 13, the amount of new update and addition is a lot. IMO using oppo is like iOS and Android meet in between, the fluidity of the animation, feel very smooth.
Those are amazing features. It seems Android is finally getting ahead in the software game and i'm glad they are putting in lots of efforts. Meanwhile Samsung can't refine One UI i'm hopeful they will bring in features that will balance the competition. Great review as always!
Samsung OneUI is still stuttery here and there. But in terms of features AND updates, considering its goodlock app, its still far superior than any other OS.

Im gonna say it. I GLAD OnePlus is bringing Color OS to their phones. It's feature rich and looks really modern and sleek. Stock android is boring and over rated. If you want stock then just buy a pixel.

My first priority is always the OS. For this reason i shifted from iPhone Xr to Note 9 (OneUI) three years back. After watching this video, i am thinking that it's now time to explore ColorOS!! No doubt, the features showed here is just Awesome!
i'm a heavy android user and i am AMAZED at this OS. just got a Oneplus 10 pro to try chinese phones out again ( had a oneplus 8) and i am BLOWN AWAY by these improvements. it is really feeling like an ecosystem now. loving ColorOS!
for real, Oxygen OS 12 was just a chaotic mix between Color OS 12 and Oxygen OS 11.. they just released something unstable to be able to say they're on Android 12, too

It's identical to OOS 13. And that's a good thing! OOS now has ColorOS's floating windows and other enhancements, and ColorOS now has OOS's Shelf and Insight AOD

@@zeliph look at a review on OxygenOS 10 or 9 and you'll see how much different they used to be. OxygenOS used to be close to stock Android with some added features. Now it's turned into one of those weird Chinese UI's that are copying iOS in many aspects and have overly colorful icons and interfaces (even the notifications are now colored).

ColorOS took the style from different Home UI and packed them together. Like the photos widget, if someone used a Sony phone they would know it was already there. Anyways, they did a nice revamp by bringing the popular features from different UI together
The best thing about coloros is that you can open split screen by simply drag itu from the side bar. And also the 3 figer gesture can open split screen.

Aquamorphic theme is basically just the change in your icon and notification shade design language and the animations will seem more relaxed and fluid. Is your icons and notification shade still looking like that of ColorOS 12?
I've never liked heavy skins of android like OneUI because a lot of the inconsistent design elements bother me. This seems to be more polished than OneUI from a design standpoint. Maybe I'll give OnePlus another shot again one day afterall 😅
Does One UI have inconsistent design elements though? I don’t use One UI but I think design elements are similar across the stock apps and launchers. But I think the original One UI version was more unified and as they added more features it became less consistent maybe.
@@OXIR Stuff like fonts being very inconsistent sizes or fonts and elements going up too close to the edge of boxes, etc. I do a lot of design work so the stuff that bothers me wouldn't bother most haha. OneUI feels more like function > fashion which works for most folks. It's def better than TouchWiz though 😅
what about notifications? Now notifications come from any application?, I have 12 colorOS realme q3s notifications only from telegram, I give permission to other applications, but still no notifications come.
it will still come to US under the name of Oxygen OS but the smoothness depends on how better OnePlus has actually optimised the ColorOS for their phone. Hoping that they didn't messed it up again like they did with OxygenOS 12 which was actually ColorOS 12

I have updated to ColorOS 13 today (oppo A54 5G) and I have the same problem. I don't have any soultion, I just will wait and see if the new features appear at any moment in the future
Actually the Device you are using is F21s pro 5g(yup that's the real name). It's a upper budget segment device and not actually a part of Reno 8 series. All the features of ColorOS 13 are present in only Reno 7, Reno 7pro, Reno 8T, Reno 8 5g, Reno 8pro 5g and all the find X and Find N series phones.
@@joselozano6448 it won't. A-series doesn't has AOD because it does not has Amoled display. You will also miss out on Blossom wallpaper and Shelf feature. That's something every brand does, so that you upgrade to their a bit more expensive phone(business tactics). The only thing I personally feel weird is that during the Beta version, I had large folder option on my K10 but after the official update, it's gone. Personally, I have managed to replace my Google discover page with the shelf feature by installing some of the features of the Chinese ColorOS rom. But you might not be comfortable with that or may even fail to do it.
Can't wait to get it on my x5 pro. Sadly only some regions can join the beta not including my country so i'll have to wait till a stable version has been released in a few months lol

@@OXIR I know the notes app widget had awefully small buttons especially compared to other areas of the OS.
I'll advice oppo to make a little change on their control center again. Probably, add any feature like miui did

Hello. Hope you notice me. I am using oppo reno 8z but some features like blossom wallpaper and cooler always-on-display designs are not available on my settings after I updated my phone to colorOs13. Are there anyone who faced the same issue? Thank you
I have updated to ColorOS 13 today (oppo A54 5G) and I have the same problem. I don't have any soultion, I just will wait and see if the new features appear at any moment in the future
Actually the Device you are using is F21s pro 5g(yup that's the real name). It's a upper budget segment device and not actually a part of Reno 8 series.
All the features of ColorOS 13 are present in only Reno 7, Reno 7pro, Reno 8T, Reno 8 5g, Reno 8pro 5g and all the find X and Find N series phones.
@@joselozano6448 it won't. A-series doesn't has AOD because it does not has Amoled display.
You will also miss out on Blossom wallpaper and Shelf feature. That's something every brand does, so that you upgrade to their a bit more expensive phone(business tactics). The only thing I personally feel weird is that during the Beta version, I had large folder option on my K10 but after the official update, it's gone.
Personally, I have managed to replace my Google discover page with the shelf feature by installing some of the features of the Chinese ColorOS rom. But you might not be comfortable with that or may even fail to do it.

Can't wait to get it on my x5 pro. Sadly only some regions can join the beta not including my country so i'll have to wait till a stable version has been released in a few months lol
