Every Kid Counts (EKC) at Lansdowne Children's Centre (2015)

The Every Kid Counts program was founded in 2001 at Lansdowne Children's Centre, started with a grant from the Ontario Trillum Grant foundation.
The Every Kid Counts (EKC) program provides children and youth with special needs an equal opportunity to participate in local, community-operated recreational programs of their choice. Each child/youth is matched with a Support Worker at no charge to the family, who provides both hands-on and programming support to the child, family and recreation staff.
Today, the EKC program continues at Lansdowne Children's Centre, funded by generous donations to the Lansdowne Children's Centre Foundation.
