Love your honesty, bro. I truly believe you can achieve your goals in 2025! That said, about RUclips and social media, I think there are a couple of areas you could improve on: 1. Thumbnails: You mentioned in the video that your thumbnails aren't very interesting or visually appealing. This is super important because viewers only see the thumbnail and title when scrolling through their feed. It's your first chance to grab attention and get clicks, so spending more time making them eye-catching and high-quality would make a big difference. 2. Descriptions and Social Links: Adding descriptions to your videos would be helpful. Also, if you're trying to grow your Instagram (not sure if that's a goal), include the link in your video and channel descriptions. I wanted to follow you after watching, but I had to rewatch the video and pause to find your Instagram handle. That’s asking a lot from a typical viewer. But if Instagram isn’t a priority, no worries. Your consistency is fantastic, and with just a few small tweaks, I think you could easily hit your RUclips goals next year. Cheers!
What’s up man! This was in my recommended video list which I believe is good news for you! I just want to say even though you didn’t technically achieve any of those goals your mindset and deeper analysis to the PURPOSE behind each goal was achieved. What you said about the RUclips content you created being genuine vs playing the game is gold. It’s hard to find genuine content today. I believe you’ll find success on this platform sooner than later. I wish you the best of luck!
Great video Dylan. I'm sitting down today to write out my goals for the year as well. What I am trying this year is to, 1. have less goals that are more ambitious. I really want to pursue some greatness this year and that will mean dropping some other things for the time being 2. break the year up into quarters or thirds to focus on each individual goal. I think this will help me gain momentum and help with my consistency which is by far my biggest problem. Lastly, I personally would be more proud to hit 1,000 subs by creating content that I like rather than 10,000 subs by creating stuff that I know people want to see. Of course, there is a sweet spot that you need to find but don't lose yourself in the process. Congrats on a great year man, I'll definitely be keeping up with your content and vids throughout 2025.
Your RUclips situations is odd. There doesn't seem to be consistent views on anything. You have three video types: Day in the life, workout, and business focused/money focused. Some do really great others less so. Yes, sure, algorithm plays a part, another factor could be consistency with posting. But, honestly it just seems to be luck. For lack of a better idea. Similar to Instagram and your businesses, consistency may help to push your channel. Another channel I watched blew up from 4000 to 8000 in two months. The biggest thing he changed was posting every day compared to a few times a week. Obviously not something that may be possible, especially with editing (they just talk to the camera and post). But, increased and regular posting could be the game changer for RUclips. Regardless, as someone else said, you've accomplished more in one year than most. Especially at your age. By all means strive to be better. But, appreciate the progress and work you've made. Not achieving those goals in your set time-frame doesn't make you a failure. It just means you learn to take a diffrent approch. Which you're already doing. Best of luck.😁
It is all about know how and learning. First year is just testing so you already got this! You are already mentaly in top 10% and that is what maters
