Vita memories? Bruh, I just got a Vita (4 of them actually! 2 - 1000's and 2 - 2000's) to homebrew and to keep as stock a month ago for the first time. I love them ALL! OMG, I've been on the fence on buying this thing for 10 years, and as sad as I was on missing out on this, I'm so glad to at least been late to the party. On the upside, the homebrew community, hacks, and apps all have been so refined in 2024, so me finally stepping into this scene has made my entrance simple and clean. Jailbreaking my Vita w/o needing a PC is a major plus!
Randomly saw this on my recommended page just hours after ordering my first Vita. Been a longtime 3DS owner, never got the chance to play a PSP or Vita.
I never personally owned a PS Vita but i wish i would have. I had a cousin that had one and loved playing on it when we would get together. I hope that we get a modernized version of the Vita at some point (and no the Portal does not count, fight me).
I was one of the early adopters getting the 3G model with the not so great AT&T 3G support. The online through that was functional, but it wasn't lightning fast(or even fast) or anything. Beautiful handheld that had all the same launch games as the PSP(Lumines, hotshots golf, and I forget the third title). It was a joy to play. The crowning gem of that time was Persona 4 golden which was the best iteration of that title. Unfortunately, outside of Gravity Rush and Uncharted, there wasn't a lot of stand out titles on it. The PSP library was great, but it also took up a lot of room on the memory cards that were pretty expensive and not that big at the time. Game support was pretty lacking, a monster hunter would have probably kept the device alive for a decade.
@subculturebith1616 No problem, let me know if there is anything you would enjoy seeing my channel cover. My focus is on Tech History at this point so the choices are basically endless.

Well thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed the video and hope you enjoy your new Vita as well.
I would suggest Lumines if you're into music and tetris type games, it's a pretty iconic title among the Sony handhelds.
You seem to imply that Bluetooth support was new for the 2000, but the 1000 also has it. That said, nice video. Subscribed.
Thank you. I appreciate the feedback and the support.

Video games with the family is always the best. What a great memory to have with you.
@@YTBeardedTechie totally agree.
