The lack of driver assist is probably Acura's way to address what people have been saying about the 2017 NSX which is how the car robs sensations of the car from the driver and essentially drives it for them.
Also, car manufacturers nowadays loathe physical buttons considering how touch senstive controls are way easier and cheaper to produce.
