For me it s a no brainer. When I bought my Porsche, I did not want to wait 1 year and half for the one I configured (GT 4). So the seller proposed me a stock 718T, nicely specs, and proposed me a tour with it. Well, 30 minutes after, I signed the purchase order. Few months later, I did a stage 2: downpipe Kline Innovation, 100 cells sport cat, remap: pulls now an outstanding 392 BHP, 500 Nm, with an empty weight of 1350 kg, the PDK and sport chrono pack, I m faster than a GT4 and with the exhaust, let me tell you, the sound is just ultra aggressive, loud, pops, and enjoyable almost as much as a flat 6. Not the same obviously, but definitely not worse. The 718T is a no brainer and 30K less expensive than the GT4 (for the same equipment I mean I paid mine around 95,000 Euros including the stage 2, whereas the GT4 I configured was almost 125,000 euros. People who think the car is slow are wrong. With the stage 2, 0 to 100 kmh in 3.7 s and 100 to 200 kph in 10 s. That thing is quick and the chassis efficiency and how it handles is just crazy! I m looking for the next one already: Lotus Emira. Not because I don t like my Porsche, because I LOVE it but because I like to change very often to experience a lot of different vehicules.
Nice dude! Thanks for sharing your story. It's like my friend who wanted to add a cup holder to his Lamborghini, the part and fitting from Lamborghini itself was $2,000. Now the part is made by Ford which can be purchased for $70 and fitted for a further $35 by a local garage or yourself for free. Premium car companies will add on silly extra prices because the target customers are people where money isn't an issue. Also do check out my Lotus Emira video, a couple parts I got wrong see if you can spot them ;)
@@blinDTiger0.01 I think I ll keep it. I ll test the Emira in early June. The dealer where I went will receive last models being the last first edition cars available. When those will be sold, one will have to order, and the price will move from 105,000 euros in Belgium to 120,000 euros. Problem being that at this new price tag, the competition is there and you move multiple viable options. Not sure the Emira will be a commercial success especially knowing that after looking at several reviews, I find the Emira a bit slow and no one has been able to reach the 0 to 100 in 4.3 s as claimed by Lotus. It is more around 5.5 s, even with the AT which is slow imho. I don t want to have a car being lower in performance than what I have with the Porsche at the moment. The driving test will decide. In parallel I m looking for a recent Corvette C7 Z06 and there are quite a lot of offering in germany being 2018 or 2019 models, with 10,000 km, for 90,000 euros. I always wanted to own a Corvette so my mind is going towards the US car now. This is a 660 HP car and 1,600 kgs...so a very quick car.
I can’t afford really any but the base cayman would be my choice.. in 2024 you get heated seats for $0 and you can get the color in bright red or yellow for $0.
Cool vid - but the audio quality isnt really in line with the video.mic is distorted, dialog sounds thrashy, and muddy all at once. What happened? Otherwise great vid. I want one.
You are voicing over a Porsche video, say it up front don't hide it in the more section. I know you gonna voice over my review and hide it from view, good job boy!
He's British, you idiot! That's how they pronounce Porsche. You really should travel more. Your point would be like me asking you to say Citroen or Renault like the French would.

The rev counter is in front of the steering wheel, the center readout is the sport chrono clock….. have you ever been in a Porsche? Honest question
Nice Video. Very informative 👍
Glad you liked it! :)

Been messing around trying to fix the audio will come back soon with a new Porsche video with cleaner content!
1:53 its cassette player?
The base naked Cayman is 78 000 EUROs in EU.
your prices are way off - those are dollar prices not pounds.
You still have to pay extra for a backup camera? Lol
Pay the editor more, pay a script writer to help out double the out put of videos...
Like in any premium car brand bro. In which world do you live in?
@@StefBelgium I know Porsche is a step above but other German brands like BMW, Mercedes and Audi come standard with a backup camera now.

Noted!
If you want to have a successful "autonerd" channel, start by learning proper brand pronunciation.
Hint: it's not a "Posh"
