*4 month natural 23 y/o gym goer experience here:* I started gym at 2023 december 11. It's been 4-5 months since I have been going and I have slowly started developing shape. Not extreme but very base grassroot level. I don't eat protein powder. I eat rice, chappati, shwarma, panner, noodles and every healthy and junk food and I don't see any problem with eating these foods. I eat these foods and have gained grassroot muscle. So just wanna say, eat whatever you want. You don't need protein powder to grow.
@@fruitchan1 Yes natural is the way but protein powder also comes under natural category or natty in gym lingo. I also do not take any supplement as I am able to reach protein requirement through dairy products, legumes and home made food.

Breaking of muscles pulling & lifting heavy weights only under 1 to 2 hour is quite explosive to your body, and yes your mind and body feels good for a time and for a reason- you feel tired - you have a feeling of achievement already and that's all- now sleep. All this is in general context, but what if this is your life ? you do it regularly maybe increase your frequency because you feel good and make it a reason you wake up. I am a 28-year-old Bengali woman. I used to go to the gym during the first two years of graduation. I attended the gym for 3 months in my first year and 3 months in my second year. The gym was located inside the Girls' hostel and it was free of charge. There was only one female trainer. However, I have not visited any gym since late 2015. Despite not visiting the gym, I managed to stay in shape because I used to walk 10,000 steps per day until the lockdown. In October 2015, I joined Art of Living and learned basic Yoga and Meditation during my graduation and post-graduation but being consistent was impossible due to my hectic schedule. Nevertheless, since June 2023, I have been doing Yoga and Meditation consistently. I regularly attend the Free Challenges by Art of Living, and my overall health has significantly improved.

For the Last 3 years , my whole life revolved around fitness. I used to not study for exam and just go and hit my workout. Best part is I like the way my body looks , i haven't seen anybody in my class who's body is better than me. I personally have never used protein powder as i eat non veg at least 3 times per week. For me what worked was , daily 20 minutes cycling, this way my physique was maintained and i could focus on studies and go to the gym once every 3 days at hit a intense workout. I got best of both Worlds. In my opinion, all you need is 1 set to muscular failure to build muscle in a productive manner with least amount of time invested in the gym and you need to spend good amount of days recovering until all soreness is gone. I was volume training before and get extremely overtrained to point where i lost weight and used to get flu every time i worked out.

I am a 28-year-old Bengali woman. I used to go to the gym during the first two years of graduation. I attended the gym for 3 months in my first year and 3 months in my second year. The gym was located inside the Girls' hostel and it was free of charge. There was only one female trainer. However, I have not visited any gym since late 2015. Despite not visiting the gym, I managed to stay in shape because I used to walk 10,000 steps per day until the lockdown. In October 2015, I joined Art of Living and learned basic Yoga and Meditation during my graduation and post-graduation but being consistent was impossible due to my hectic schedule. Nevertheless, since June 2023, I have been doing Yoga and Meditation consistently. I regularly attend the Free Challenges by Art of Living, and my overall health has significantly improved.

For the Last 3 years , my whole life revolved around fitness. I used to not study for exam and just go and hit my workout.
Best part is I like the way my body looks , i haven't seen anybody in my class who's body is better than me.
I personally have never used protein powder as i eat non veg at least 3 times per week.
For me what worked was , daily 20 minutes cycling, this way my physique was maintained and i could focus on studies and go to the gym once every 3 days at hit a intense workout. I got best of both Worlds.
In my opinion, all you need is 1 set to muscular failure to build muscle in a productive manner with least amount of time invested in the gym and you need to spend good amount of days recovering until all soreness is gone. I was volume training before and get extremely overtrained to point where i lost weight and used to get flu every time i worked out.
