I almost forgot about this one .... this one rivals 86 live without net (new Haven) solo.... Ed has so many amazing live solos and people still have the gall to question that he's the greatest to ever do it. nobody ever did anything remotely close to this then or now. so fresh
I have been searching RUclips and watching EVH solos for a long time now, and every once on awhile I get the chills from an amazing video of his solos. this is one of them! the quity could b better but understandably why it is how it is. I will continue my search for THE BEST evh solo ever caught on camera. I know it is out there somewhere. if anyone who reads this that knows of an amazing evh solo, please direct me to it. thank you so much! Bless you all.
I've also been going through all the time for the "best". The LWAN is definitely the most popular, but my personal favourite is from 2015. I can't seem to find the exact video, but he plays almost all of the classic stuff like you'd see here. The reason it's my favourite is because he uses a wah pedal WHILE doing Cathedral. It blew me away
Cara!!! eu estava lá! foram dois shows no Ginásio do Ibirapuera e eu fui com mais três amigos, tinha 19 anos. Ficamos na pista pertinho do palco, foi demais ver os caras de perto. Foi uma grande aventura, saimos de Jacareí interior de SP e fomos de ônibus, apenas um primo havia morado em Sampa e sabia chegar lá no ginásio, e na volta, voltamos a pé de madrugada do Ibirapuera até o terminal do Tietê, passamos a noite no terminal até o primeiro ônibus pra Jacareí. incríveis anos 80!!!!!!!!

Não me lembro de muitos detalhes, apenas lembro de voltar pra casa de ônibus, bem cansado. Foram bons tempos... Gostaria de encontrar alguem que esteve neste show e relembrar as histórias... Valeu!
É... realmente fui um dos privilegiados de estar lá. Somente nesse ano (2011), fiquei sabendo que esse foi o primeiro show internacional de rock no Brasil. Depois viria o Queen no Morumbi. Saudades dos anos 80 e da minha incrível juventude.
@somasergio Eu também estive lá! Primeiro grande show realizado no Brasil. Mas creio que este show foi em 1981. Em 1982, teve Queen no Morumbi. Outro showzaço inesquecível. Eu também peguei uma palheta dele e uma do Michael Anthony. Estiveram comigo até o dia do show do U2 Vertigo no Morumbi, há uns 4 anos. Neste dia alguém me roubou as palhetas em casa. Ou a empregada jogou fora. Não posso nem de pensar nisso.

Naquela epoca eu tinha um amigo'' o Ricardo'' eu lembro q ele pegou a palheta do Michel Antony, nós treinavamos musculaçao juntos no Roldan. Eu nao lembro o sobrenome dele, sera q não é vc? naquele dia tava eu, ele, e outros dois amigos do Roldan, claro apelidos, o Arnold, e o Tarzan....kkkkkk abç.
