      Don't forget about the steal before the last shot. MJ showed his phenomenal defensive skills as well prior to sinking the last shot. His defensive skills are so undervalued. I get it people love offense, but to watch a player play both ends of the court as well as MJ smh he was truly the best of the best period!!

      Jordan was amazing but that game was really pathetic. The refs handed him an extra title on his way out - let’s be real.

    • @daweeza42
      @daweeza42 3 года назад +16

      @@sailor6shooter753 I guess the refs hit the shots also. Every NBA game has influence of different calls…actually every NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, etc is influenced by the officials. True winners/champions endure B.S. calls and play through it. Everyone that plays sports knows their are 100% going to be some bad calls throughout every game.
      When MJ was getting his ass knocked out by Detroit in the late 80’s the refs didn’t start kicking out Piston and players. MJ put his time in as a player, he took real bumps and bruises.
      My point is everything he won that man earned. Don’t try to discredit the work he put in, the brilliance he displayed, the motivation he gave his team by saying he was handed a title.
      Not only is that B.S. it’s extremely disrespectful !
      Always put respect on his name!!

    Unspoke reason why Jordan is the basketball goat:
    His playoffs performances and highlights exceeds his regular seasons ones. And his Finals performances exceed his playoffs games.
    He eliminated the cavs twice in the playoffs: in game 4 in 93 with the game tied, bulls won 4-0, but the best was in 89, best of 5, series tied 2-2, down by 1, do or die, in what became simply "the shot", hanging in the air like pre-retirement Jordan only could, avoiding the block. One of the greatest championship rounds plays in sports history
    in the 97 finals: game 1 game winner at the buzzer, game 5 game winning 3 scoring 4 of his 38 in the last seconds in Utah for the win, in the game where he had the flu, game 6 finals ending game with the game winning assist off the double team for Kerr. 98 finals 3 clutch plays, quick score, a crucial steal, swish game winner to end the championship, 2nd 3 peat and his career in the best possible way. He also scored 45 of the bulls 87 points as well by the way.
    These things are what make him the best, not just his personal accomplishments and awards, but movie like plays are really what sets his legacy apart from all other NBA greats.

    i don’t think people understand how hard MJ’s last shot as a bull was. I’ve never seen it done by anyone in the NBA or anywhere else. Since i saw it as a kid, i’ve practiced it my entire life and have not once pull it off in a game. Yet he does it to seal his second 3 peat perfectly after carrying that busted up Bulls team with 45 points at age 35. He’s by far the goat kids, just accept it.

    MJ is GOAT. LeBron is great but there can only be one. 6-0 in the Finals?? Kobe was great too, but just a MJ clone. Gotta go with the original...

    • @dp233332
      @dp233332 5 лет назад +10

      Kobe wasnt a MJ clone...A clone is more or less exactly the same...Kobe wasnt more or less exactly the same as MJ...Kobe was similar to MJ, not the same...Kobe wasnt as good with his feet or hands on defense he wasnt as smart as disciplined as quick his handles werent as good he didnt move without the ball as efficiently or make anywhere near as much use off the 1st step he wasnt as good in the clutch as unstoppable in mid air nor as great of a leader as MJ in his prime was. He clearly studied and emulated MJs moves and style as much as he could but neither Kobe nor Lebron are even in the conversation for GOAT runner ups...only young fans who didnt witnes the 70s, 80s, etc would suggest such a foolish thing...Players like Larry Bird and Kareem were both far better than Kobe or Lebron, they just dont have as many rings or current hype drawn to them because they didnt play/compete for championships during a watered down era.
      Hate to break it to you, but Kareem has the most career pts the most MVPs, and is tied with MJ behind Bill Russell and his other 1960s Celtics teammates, with the most championship rings(6)...He also was the master of the single most unstoppable offensive weapon in the games history, and he was the only clutch 7fter in NBA history to boot.

    • @zeii812
      @zeii812 5 лет назад +10

      @@dp233332 you forget that Kareem played 20 full seasons tho.
      if you take away Jordan's wizard years and 2nd year of injury playing 18 games, and 95 season of 17 games back from retirement, he only played 11 full seasons.
      6 titles in 11 full seasons is much more impressive then 6 in 20. So is 5 Mvp's in 11 compared to 6 in 20.
      Many say Jordan even deserved the MVP in 97 over Karl Malone, and maybe also in 93 over Charles Barkley, Jordan was averaging 32.6 ppg and led the NBA in steals too, and getting rebounds and assists etc.
      For the Celtics, it's not an argument because they were the only OP team in a league of 8 teams only! compared to Jordan playing in an era of 27 teams. The Celtics also had 7 or 8 hall of famers playing for them, that's ridiculous. Also 4 finals went to game 7's against Wilt Chamberlain's team, decided by a total of only 9 points for the entire 4 games, can't get much closer then that.
      And also there was only 3 playoff rounds back then not 4.

If Jordan misses it, the bulls go home and lose the series and go home. Jordan makes it and they eliminate the cavs and go on to the next series.
