Chatti is a unique recipe to turn a vegetable ,ridge guard , which is considered boring by many , into a tasty dish which even the kids are sure to enjoy .
And since ridge guard is very good for thinning the blood and purifying it , its a must include vegetable in our diet , especially for those having high cholesterol , hypertension , heart problems ,spleen enlargement and diabetes.
This recipe is just the way you can do that .
Chatti is like a stuffed dosa made by dipping ridge guard rings into a spiced millet batter .
It makes for an easy and healthy millet breakfast .
    For the batter
    1 cup millet
    1 tablespoon Channa dal
    1 tablespoon urad dal
    1 tablespoon Dhaniya
    1 teaspoon jeera
    1/2 cup coconut
Red chillies as per your spice requirement
    Small piece of tamarind
    2 teaspoons palm jaggery syrup
Cut rings of 3 ridge guard
    Serves 4

I never found ridge gourd boring! Its very tasty vegetable (especially in bassaaru's palya!) Even its bajji is tasty! In fact all vegetables are tasty, but people who are too fond of junk foods seem to hate vegetables with their taste-buds corrupted!

    • @milletmagic6609
      @milletmagic6609  4 года назад +1

By experience you will know when you taste
It should be soft and you shouldn’t get any hard part in the innermost if the grain when you bite through it
