Thank you Shin for another wonderful review! I love Asian cuisine but I have to admit I'm a picky eater and not too adventurous about trying new things. However, recently when my son & I were at a restaurant here in Nashville I saw Honey Walnut Shrimp on the menu & remembered seeing you enjoy it on your channel so I gave it a try and I am obsessed! It is so delicious. Thank you so much! Even though we may not be in Vegas we still benefit from your reviews & we appreciate you so much!
Love chin chin...they used to have a more extensive menu which was amazing...thru the years, they have scaled back...we still like going to dine.. but it's not like it used to be... love your videos
Expensive lunch lol. Thanks for the review. The food looked really good. I was surprised we could hear you, it was very noisey there. Thanks and take care.
Yes, very noisy during the lunch rush. I was also right next to a very loud group of 20. They looked like they were having a great time though. Thanks for watching!
Yay! I was waiting to see your review of Chin Chin.😁NyNy is our fav casino we stay at and really like eating there. Love the buffet. Thanks Shin. Have a great weekend!
VWS: Where do I start with all the food scene crimes lol. Wontons $22.00, Chicken Salad $18 ( and was mostly noodles), $22 for Bok Choy ( I just bought 3 pounds for $3 lol), $4 Steam Rice ( when did rice get some expensive). But the food visually looked tasty, hair cut looked nice and your narration of the food elements was fire 🔥. See you Tuesday Peace ✌️ out .
@VegaswithShin just made my own beef chow fun not free but not $25 lol . Shin you do a great job I hope you get a TV gig. Honestly you are better than 99% out there
Interesting choices of diff apps and mains 😮🤔😂...you know picky me 😋...have to admit, you did order a few of my fav dishes 😂...but the look wasn't what I was expecting 😢, but overall not a bad dinner as long as you enjoyed it 👍...have a great weekend til Tues ❤😊
Thank you for the strip place review, all the food looked delicious, sad to hear that mapo tofu was not that good since it is also one of my favorite dishes.
Yeah. Just a little extra balance for me would have been good. But that's always just my own opinion. I'm sure others will think differently. Thanks for watching!
Another great video. Curious if the ambiance was as loud as it seemed? The mic was struggling to dampen the cacophony of the dining room which doesn't usually happen!
I first got there at the lunch rush and was sat next to a very loud group of 20 having a good time. Once the lunch rush died down, the sound becomes much more manageable. Thanks for watching!
Love the title - adds pizazz! Food was all really well presented, pity some of flavours were a miss. Despite prawn toast being made for "western tastes", don't care, it just looked so good. And that dessert, oh yes! Lots of leftovers in the Shin household this week?
@Lulu-ki6ds soooooo good. It's changed staff over the years for the worse but they still have solid sandwiches and a great black & white cookie. When Carnegie was still around ( pre covid mirage ) they had the best matzo ball soup
They used to have a mango sushi roll there called the Bikini Bottom that I LOVED but they took it off the menu. 😢I also do really like that Okinawa Snow dessert.
I always wondered why Chinese restaurants in Las Vegas serve sushi. I have never ordered sushi at Chinese restaurants. I also noticed that Chinese food is served at Japanese restaurants. I never order Chinese food at Japanese restaurants. To me it's like ordering spaghetti carbonara at taco stands. It may be good, but I wouldn't think that it would be a specialty item. BTW, Trattoria Reggiano has a great spaghetti carbonara. You should try that restaurant at Venetian Grand Canal Shoppes.
Sure glad you’re paying that pricey lunch bill. Whew! Seemed like a good meal, but to me didn’t seem worth the price. It looked like it was good but not great. Thanks for the another great review Shin…😊
It's well executed food with solid level quality ingredients but not anything revolutionary or crazy unique except for that dessert. I would go back just for that Okinawa snow lol. I probably ordered for at least 8 people here thought so you're looking at about $40-$50 a person here. You could definitely get a decent lunch on the strip for $25-$35 so this is certainly more of a pricey lunch option. But it was packed with a long line waiting when I was filming as you could probably tell by the initial sounds. Thanks for watching!
This was a great review. You ordered so many of my favorites. The entire appetizer round and the second round of entrees. Minus the tofu. Not a fan. Ty.😊
There are certain dishes that chinese restaurants are measured on and you gotta make a decent mapo tofu... you knew it was going to be bad just looking at it. While the ribs looked great, it felt like this was a "trying to be chinese" restaurant. I wouldn't be surprised if the head chef wasn't chinese. Though that was one cool dessert.
It looks like Chin Chin does have a location in Los Angeles based on their website. Keep coming out to Vegas and maybe we can connect one day! Thanks for watching!
The first half of the video was at the beginning of the lunch rush and I was sat right next to a very loud group of 20 having a good time so the audio was bombarded for the first half. Thanks for watching!
We were not a fan of Chin Chin. Would love to see you review Lala Noodle at Park MGM. It’s one of our favs and totally flies under the radar. Curious as to your thoughts on it!
I was at the Grand Wok Noodle Bar at MGM Grand for a video recently. Very similar pricing. This is pretty normal for the strip actually. Thanks for watching!
Hi Shin!! I remember Chin Chin as a high school kid where I grew up in Encino, CA. It was a small restaurant back then and it featured their Chinese chicken salad. And let me tell you it was famous. I have been to the Chin Chin in Vegas several times, in fact I try to go there every time I stay at the Delano. I always get their sushi. But I’ve never had any of the sushi you got. I highly recommend it though, if you get the right sushi! Thanks for another great video!
For the first half of the video, I was sat next to a very loud party of 20 convention attendees. The whole section was very loud while they dined. Unfortunate for the video though. Thanks for watching!
Why are the people in the restaurants you go to so loud? The restaurants that I go to are nice and peaceful, you can relax, but the ones you've gone to in Vegas, the people are loud and I can barely hear you why the difference? And if the people aren't loud the music is, not exactly the kind of atmosphere I like to eat in.
@@jak_9803 No I'm not asking if he can control the environment he's eating in. Just wondering why The people in these restaurants are so loud, like I said it's either the people are too loud or the music is too loud not the best for eating environment as far as I'm concerned. If I walk into a restaurant and I can't hear myself think I'm turning around and walking back out the door.
What a ridiculous question. Shin, in actuality, is probably louder than anyone there. Talking to the camera while others are in personal conversations enjoying their meal..

Order of those ribs with the bok choy and mushroom dish and some streamed rice would be amazing. Thanks for another great video 👍

The summer hair cut looks fire!!! Also love the title LOL
Thank you! After a week of 115 degree heat, I just needed to chop off as much as possible lol. Thanks for watching!

Chinchin is such an underrated restaurant. Those chili wontons rock.

Loved those ribs! Appetizers looked delicious great review always👍👍
The ribs were so good! Really liked those. Thanks for watching!
Nice video. Food looked pretty good.
Yes! Some good food at Chin Chin. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a nice place! Ribs looked amazing. My only experience with similar Chinese cuisine is PF Changs.
At PF you need a gallon of water after you leave the joint. Sodium city....yikes
The ribs were really tasty! So good. I like PF Changs but I often find their recipes a bit on the saltier side. Thanks for watching!
Love the hair cut. Looking good!!
Thank you! The heat has been crazy. My head feels so many degrees cooler lol. Thanks for watching!
Chin Chin is one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas.
Try Ping Pang Pong next time at the Gold Coast!!!
I'm going back for the Okinawa Snow again before the end of the year for sure. I want to try some other dishes too. Thanks for watching!
Great video! The only time I go to the strip is with your videos. Thank you. I prefer local places.
I'm happy to hear that. I think in general I'm preferring off strip also lol. Thanks for watching!
All the food looks pretty good. I wouldn't mind checking Chin Chin out it im visiting New York New York and in the mood for some Asian food

Hello Christine!
They used to have a mango sushi roll there called the Bikini Bottom that I LOVED but they took it off the menu. 😢I also do really like that Okinawa Snow dessert.
Some other commenters mentioned that the menu had been reduced overtime. Thankfully the Okinawa Snow is still there though! Thanks for watching Lydia!
Looks like we need to come for the Pork Ribs & Noodle Dish + Snow Ice. Going to be so hard to convince the wife to leave Aria/Wynn to NYNY

Is this related to the one in LA? I haven't eaten at that place in years. Some of the dishes here look ok, but that kakigori might be worth exploring.
