Never saw this one before I did find a 1949 version very short for tv and Vincent Price narrating and Bazel Rackbone(I know I messed it up on purpose he is one of my faves) and March does a pretty good job in this one. Again acting on live tv in the 50's is tricky and Bob making fun of Scrooge is a twist since its always Mary (I think that's her name) scolds Scrooge all the time. All in all I pass on this one meant to ask is there a version of CAROL that sticks to the book line for line? I don't think so have a good one my lady love your input on all these films I might have a short list of some of my favorites and see what you think
I can understand why this version is long forgotten.
@@dr.migilitoloveless2385 Right?!? 🤣
You should check out the Patrick Stewart version. Really Amazing. The entire cast, production etc. 👍🤘😎🖖🇨🇦🕊️🍻

Queenie Leonard appeared as "Mrs. Cratchit" in both the 1949 half-hour filmed version and this 1954 edition.
Originally presented (in color) as a special on CBS' "SHOWER OF STARS" {December 23, 1954}, and repeated in 1955 and '56.
@@fromthesidelines That's really neat!! 😍😍
It was! Unfortunately, no color editions of this special are known to exist.
Different 😕, but i will stick with Alistair Sim or sometimes for fun Michael Caine
