Thanks, Russ. I always appreciate your opinion, especially on Optics. I've never actually had ANY problems with ANY Hawke scope. Hawke's Customer Service and technical support is top notch ! 9 out of 10 times when I do read grousing on the forums I can almost always see obvious mistakes in improper mounting and location and no manufacturer can build a scope to accommodate operator error. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I love good glass but Accuracy always take precedence over purty pictures. 😕 I don't tend to fuss allot with my settings so I really like the AMX Reticle. I tend to utilize the reticle for holdover and Kentucky windage but obviously clicking and ranging wins matches. 🤷🏼‍♂️
I'm also not shy about barrel bending, but I have a barrel sling vise, and I sleeved a bit of black pipe with schedule 40 for minor tweaks. 😉 After pullingy hair out aligning a scope recently I finally realized I'd never confirmed the barrel itself, and sure enough There It Was ! 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️
Hope everyone is well, and Best Of Luck in the upcoming match. 😁👍

I agree that accuracy trumps everything else. While I certainly appreciate clear glass, it is not the determining factor for me. Scopes are a very personal thing in my experience. A scope that one person can't miss with is one which someone else struggles with. Unfortunately you just don't know if a scope will suit you until you try it.
I built a jig many years ago when I was working on lots of Chinese airguns. I've had to tweak barrels on quite a few makes but some tend to need it more than others.

Good luck to you and your daughter at the grand prix! Can’t wait to see some footage of some of the shots there.
I can barely walk and talk at the same time, so seeing you break down that pistol while addressing some questions was IMPRESSIVE.

Thank you very much, we're really looking forward to the match! We'll do our best to try and capture the experience and encourage others to try the sport.
Give the number of "ums" and "anyhow's" in this video, it looks like I struggled with the multitasking a bit 😁. Definitely not my best video but I really wanted to address those questions. Fortunately the gun is now shooting the way I want and will be killing cans in the near future.
