    My GOODNESS SMH on how hard you all work. I don't want to speak for all of us but I will speak for most. I know for a fact that most of us (our population in the USA) we have NO IDEA ON HOW MUCH HARD WORK GOES INTO BEING A FARMER. All I can say is Thank you God for blessing us with such amazing PEOPLE WITH SUCH STRENGTH and yes amazing animals. GOD BLESS ALL THAT PROVIDE. IN JESUS NAME AMEN. WOW. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WHAT YOU DO. Sincerely Michelle Pup Harley and Kitty Liam Arlington Massachusetts. PS Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

    You're 10 generation. I can only imagine how proud that 1st generation farmer would be of all that has come after him. Most likely he never dreamed "10 generations"...maybe 2 or 3? Your example is wonderful and your videos allow others to learn from the work you continue doing, which has to be handed down from ancestors. Well done to you, and to your dad.

  • @rogerfrizzell6418
    @rogerfrizzell6418 4 года назад +1

    LOL, Hungry Hungry Hefers. I think it is awesome that your dad shows you how to do things on your own and you are slowly taking over the operations whether you realize it or not. The only way to learn how to do something is to do it. My dad and uncles always taught me how to do things on my own and at the time when I was your age I thought it was very aggravating. But now that I am older I appreciate all the time they took to show me how to jobs by myself. Take as much time as you possibly can with your parents and siblings for life is a fleeting moment in time and then it is gone. You my friend will someday soon be the face of America. Thank You for your hard work, it will pay off someday.

    Another great presentation. In a recent video you got 5 cuttings on your hay..... wow. A bunch of years ago in Central NYS I worked as a hay-loader for baled hay into semi-trailers. First cutting was a beast, got into some second cutting… almost never a third cutting... and the feed quality went down later in the summer/early fall... glad you pointed that out to the viewers....of course that was all square bales, I did see some farms chopping hay, way back then.... good job... full speed ahead!

    Our family owns a meat plant and when we clean up at night we use Clorox to whiten our table tops from the blood stains. I would try that on the floor. Just poor it on the floor and scrub it in with a broom and let it set for a few hours and then pressure wash it off.

      Yep. We had numbered milk cans. The milkman was named Sully. Our water troughs were spring fed, too. We used spring water for everything. I grew up drinking this limestone bed spring water. It was a small farm, though. It would be way too small to even think of it as a business, now. I have worked hard to keep the farm in the family. The original deed was signed by President Andrew Jackson in 1835 on parchment paper. I recently deeded my half of the farm to my nephew since I'm now retired and moving to Florida. I've had enough of the six month long winters in Western PA. I'll be back to visit, though.
