I always love Claire Huxtable, very refined and dignified, she sets people straight without having to raise her voice or use a single word of profanity. Claire's speech is iconic. I remember watching her as a little asian girl wanting to grow up to be a strong confident career woman like Claire Huxtable was, I even used to practice this scene in the mirror. It never really occurred to me that the family was black and that meant something until later seasons, this show was a staple in my house and the Monopoly money scene was even used in our Family and Consumer Science classes in school. Now that I'm an adult I still love that scene, I still laugh and cringe at Elvin's ideas, but now I have even more respect for Daryll in this episode. Him saying he better do some pretty good cooking and Cliff immediately yelling for Sondra to hurry up is something I would probably do as a parent (or a best friend not wanting my friend to let this gem slip away). Makes me sad that even now there are men like Elvin who aren't doing it because the writers room thought it would be funny

It bothers me so much that this show has been taken from the air, growing up, it was a show that gave so many kids, mainly black kids the vision that we are not just in projects, uneducated, poor and the rest of it, you saw a positive example of a black family living in society. This show was so well made. I'm young enough that I still think of them as Dr. Huxtable and Mrs. Huxtable. Anyway, Claire Huxtable was so dynamite, and the way Bill throughout the show could see her reaction to something coming from a mile away and still being completely unable to stop it is incredible.

These are precious to me. These episodes helped me be the person I am today. No matter what Mr. Cosby did in the future his legacy with this show in my mind is untainted. I thank the cast and writers for bringing us laughter and education during the run of this show.

This show was so well made. I'm young enough that I still think of them as Dr. Huxtable and Mrs. Huxtable. Anyway, Claire Huxtable was so dynamite, and the way Bill throughout the show could see her reaction to something coming from a mile away and still being completely unable to stop it is incredible.

I love the episode where Claire is all "Cliff, who is that girl layin' on our couch" and Cliff is like " Awwww, my dear..she's just a young lady that drank the drink with the thing and got a little sleepy and I put my thing in up her thing and then I put it in her other thing while she slept and then she was a bit sleepy so I put my thing in her other thing...awwwwwwwww."

I noticed that too, I think it happened with one other character as well or either someone was someone's boyfriend and popped back up as someone else. my memory is kinda foggy now but it'll come to me
lol. He matured and different character personality so it mimicked real life where girls could bring home guys who look very much alike throughout the years but it be just that. 2 different people who looked a lot alike.

These are precious to me. These episodes helped me be the person I am today. No matter what Mr. Cosby did in the future his legacy with this show in my mind is untainted. I thank the cast and writers for bringing us laughter and education during the run of this show.
