Canon Vixia HF S100 Footage

This is a small experiment I did with some footage I took with my Canon Vixia HF S100. The file was rendered using Sony's version of the H.264 codec @ 1920 x 1080. The file was 110 MB after rendering. I have had this camera for a year.
Editing was done in Sony Vegas 10.

Make your upload as big as you can without going over the limit or exceeding the files original rate. Remember also my shots are still shots on a tripod. That makes for a much sharper image.

DOF was achieved simply by using manual focus on a remote so as to not disturb the camera. It took a few practice runs to stop at the correct depth using the remote that comes with the camera.

I will have to try rendering to that. It seems to be softer with RUclips, most likely due to the quality being lower, but it seems your video is pretty sharp. I render to WMV, will have to try MP4, Thanks

It's an MP4 in H.264. Are you saying its soft when its on RUclips or straight from the camera?
