Irrelevant to the video but i just started imagining other killer with blights power and cant stop laughing at the thought of clowns fat ass going full sprint at a survivor with the dumbest animation possible
I remember thinking that the Clown and Blight should have swapped powers. Blight is an alchemist, why is he bouncing around like that? You'd think he'd use alchemy to poison or disorient his target. Meanwhile, Clown is a fat, former athlete, drug addict. He seems far more appropriate for sprinting at people, bouncing off surfaces, and injecting himself with illicit substances.
@@pistolmoth4198 Blight is an alchemist, and that served him well when attempting to discover a way out of the realm of the Entity using the Pustula serum. It's the serum itself that gives Blight the Rush ability. His humanity is lost, he's a feral beast due to the serum, and his animal instincts say "run at this survivor and pry their flesh from bone". Meanwhile, Clown has anesthetics because that is often what he'd use to disorient his targets before he killed them, to lessen struggle. The fact that Clown's a former athlete, and is now fat and a drug addict is supposed to show how far he's fallen, and the only reason he's 115% movement speed is because Clown is weak enough, and 110% movement speed would mean you could never win

In conclusion, devs should implement map seeding so that Scott was able to do a guide for every variation of the map, with different things to bounce of.
Revisiting this guide now that I’m playing blight even more on a new console. Honestly forgot some of these tips. Blight honestly feels tougher mechanically than nurse ever felt for me.
You can break pallets with blights ability without addons. I don't know if it's inteded or not, but just smacking pallet from an angle breaks it. Best advice? Play first 10 games with brown that allows you to see collision... it's so good! Way better than nurses!
Thanks mate. I learned a lot from this. Not just the things you said but also the footage. For example I wondered if it's possible to bounce of a pallet I am standing in front off and immediately breaking them. Thanks a bunch
One more question I do have. I noticed that sometimes I am in a rush and right click and nothing happens. Is there something blocking me to get into consecutive rushes?
I’ve been playing blight for about 5 months now On console. And although the learning curve is a bit more difficult, if you can master looking down before swinging around corners it helps get you from 90 degree turns to almost 180s and u turns. He’s a bit harder on console but nothin practice can’t fix
Thanks for doing a guide for him, my biggest issue playing him right now is how low he is, also something I've found playing him is its better to move in arc while chasing as it allows you to effectively go straight rather than zig zag, don't know what you think about this tactic but wanted to hear your thoughts as I didn't hear it in the video
Min 21: 42, actually if u press both at the same time it gives u a normal lunge (also if i hit that it gives me the 3 s cooldown of power hits but with the normal animation), which is quite interesting and difficult to master, bcs sometimes u just don't get it Also there's a weird flick skill-cap i mean, if u hold M2 u'll start your next avaible rush as soon as possible (keep in mind that u need to release and hold it back again every time u start rushing), and now here is the thing i found that if u turn something like 180º while holding M2 and then u start rushing really quickly into the opposite direction u do like an U instead of a V angle, u can check this out if u want, but it may make blight usefull for more loops Even i can make a short clip about this to show u how it's, bcs i didn't saw anyone using this, i may be the first one to be aware of this

In the killer shack example you gave that seemed to cover all options, can't the survivor actually go into a locker? Or is the Blight allowed to open lockers while in the middle of his power for some reason?

I play on meduim-high sens (not insanely high) and I remember on a stream Scott said he has super high dpi so he's able to flick quickly after hitting a wall or moving left or right while dashing. Not really, whatever feels comfortable to you i guess. Im at p3 with blighty boy. Just try different sensitivities till you feel good with the flicks. Since he is so fast, flicking comes second to just having really good reaction speed. Most times a good rush doesnt really requiere any flicks
I play fps games, so my sens is pretty damn low, but I can still play blight, oni, billy, nurse, etc. perfectly fine. You just need to flick your mouse further in about the same time for the same quick turns as with a high sens. It’s not hard to do, and it’s actually healthier for your wrist in the long run.
