I'm watching a ton of channels where guys have millions of subscribers and beautiful images, but I don't see real talent for filmmaking. I can see real talent in this kid.
You are absolutely right. There is also a difference between being a youtuber and being a filmmaker. Anyone can shoot pretty looking images, but being a filmmaker is a level above that.
I have been shooting for 5 years now, and honestly I wish I could network more with people like you who have so much knowledge with lighting, angles, cine lens, cinema cameras, locations, color grading, etc. Amazing work !
Cool trick with the TV, layering those practical on visual effects. I think I am going to try to start using more neg in my content. Would love to know how you were able to breakdown the budget and select your lenses.
Just found your channel -- big fan! Only question was how you rigged a fluid head in the back of the car at 09:27? Looks like a dolly bazooka but curious how to secure it to the floor!
I think it was just not too secured there haha, definitely was a short set-up time so don’t think we had any rigging to the actual car floor. Was stable enough for the static shot we did
Awesome video! I'm just wondering what you used to mount the nova in the bathroom scene? I've been looking for a stand that I'd trust to hold it above talent but not had much luck
What kind of stand and boom arm are you using to hold that Nova over the bathtub in that small of space? I would have thought you would need more room to counterweight it.
Thanks! :) Had to ask my gaffer haha... I have no idea but he said: Euromount plate with fitting, offset euro mount to tripod head, 150mm halfbowl adapter.
i did a similar music video where i also used cine zooms to zoom in on the talent during the take. How did you zoom de lens? Did your program A & B points on a wireless follow focus system? Or was it just the AC "pulling" zoom?
Hey, thanks! :) I'll try to include more of that in the next breakdowns! I usually work with a Google Slides document for more visual inspiration&mood and then ofc make a detailed shot list and a breakdown
We knew what we wanted to get and knew the locations and we communicated that to Tioma, our gaffer, but no we didn't make precise diagrams or anything. So I guess it was improvised in the sense that we didn't know the exact lighting plan but we did have a good sense of what we were going for
Haha yea, we actually saw that while editing and decided it didn't matter that much.. couldn't bother trying to VFX it out (there was no time for that really) and didn't wanna crop in on the shot. Thanks for watching dude!
A big thank you to everyone who watched/commented ❤
If you have any questions on this production feel free to leave them here, I'll answer everything!

I loved your video. a doubt in how many mm does the arri alura 18-80 have vignette in the red komodo?
I don’t remember it vignetting at any point
appreciate a real cinematography breakdown! i want to ask, how do you put a fluid head inside a car?
Thank you! :)
Honestly I do not know how to explain the rig there.. only my gaffer knows haha
@@YuvalAloni haha that's alright bro, thanks for the reply anyways ~

Thanks :)
It's called SunSeeker
Awesome video! I'm just wondering what you used to mount the nova in the bathroom scene? I've been looking for a stand that I'd trust to hold it above talent but not had much luck
Thank you :)
I believe it was a Menace arm
Thank you so much
Sure! Thanks for watching
What kind of stand and boom arm are you using to hold that Nova over the bathtub in that small of space? I would have thought you would need more room to counterweight it.
I'm not sure I remember but pretty sure it's just a sturdy Menace Arm
Nice dude.
Thank you :)
Nice Video! :) What is that thing you were using to hold the camera on the speed rail pipe at 2:09 min ?
Thanks! :)
Had to ask my gaffer haha... I have no idea but he said:
Euromount plate with fitting, offset euro mount to tripod head, 150mm halfbowl adapter.
Thx for taking the time to ask your gaffer and the reply :)
@@OnlineMastering Sure thing! I also wanted to know haha
i did a similar music video where i also used cine zooms to zoom in on the talent during the take. How did you zoom de lens? Did your program A & B points on a wireless follow focus system? Or was it just the AC "pulling" zoom?
It was the AC pulling all the zooms. We had one motor on focus and the other one on zoom.
We used a Parfocal lens so it made it way easier
Hey man great video…could you please share your look book pdf….because it would be so cool to know about the way you think about the shots…the vision
Hey, thanks! :)
I'll try to include more of that in the next breakdowns!

Glad it was helpful!
Masz talent ✊😎🔥💥
Nice content, subbed'!
Thank you, Obed! Appreciate the love (:
Did you improvise these setups on set or did you make diagrams?
We knew what we wanted to get and knew the locations and we communicated that to Tioma, our gaffer, but no we didn't make precise diagrams or anything.
So I guess it was improvised in the sense that we didn't know the exact lighting plan but we did have a good sense of what we were going for
We see the reflexion of your friend at 8:53 but nice video, great content!
Haha yea, we actually saw that while editing and decided it didn't matter that much.. couldn't bother trying to VFX it out (there was no time for that really) and didn't wanna crop in on the shot.

what was the budget for this production bro?
It was around 10K USD
@@YuvalAloni g
Had to be yall brung out the big guns😀😀. Great job!
?? The TV shot, how did you deal with the smoke? smoke is very hard to keep with green screen technique, did you add smoke in post production!?
btw amazing videos and very helpful
Didn’t have problems with it because we used a black screen not green. That way I could also keep reflections
@@YuvalAloni wow, thats smart, thank you very much, keep going, love your work
