ok ok so i think this might be a long shot. and idk if its been mentioned before, im not exactly in the omori fandom. like in the fandom space, i mean. i like the game though, and watch videos on it. ok here goes. i think the versions of sunnys friends you can play as in each route are real... to an extent. connected to them, i mean. like theyre an idea, a version of the real world version living in his head. they arent fake, but not real, either. they say things that his friends would really say, but his friends in the waking world have no memory of them. i could talk about how this is the same case for the friends that appear backstage (aubrey, kel, hero) and before sunnys house (basil) in the base games ending, but thatd be a bit more to explain. its just an idea/theory. lmk if you guys have any more ideas relating to this.
