“On the road” is a bit of an overstatement with BYU going to Utah. It’s a 30 minute drive, 40 mins with traffic. Yewts have been cashing in and selling their tickets left and right. Guess who is picking them up?
On the road in Tempe might actually be a misnomer. Do you know how many BYU graduates live in Tempe? I expect that there will be at least 1/3 of the stadium in blue.
Don't think there are many Y fans disagreeing with you on that one. ASU is playing really strong right now. ASU, TTech, & Cincy belong in the same conversation w BYU, ISU, KState & CU. Those are all dangerous teams right now -- regardless of where you play them. And Houston has been proving that last yewt loss wasn't all that bad, probably.
What happens if BYU loses two game and Iowa loses to Kansas before their conference playoff? That would be chaos 4 with 2 loses in the big twelve Colorado is likely loosing their next game. What if Amazon wins rest of their games So much could happen between now and play offs
IMO Colorado will loose at Texas Tech. How about Zepn Criss & the Houston Cougars. Last game of season Cougars vs Cougars in Provo. What if BYU is undefeated going into that game and Houston pulls the upset? Uhnm
Considering the strength of their schedule, BYU would be a MAJOR disappointment if they were not undefeated. Where might they be now if Oregon, Ohio State, Georgia, Texas, or Miami were on their pre-conference schedule?
If BYU doesn't beat Utah this year, I'll eat my hat. Give me a break, people. I feel like I'm the only one watching these teams play. I'll predict right now: 1)BYU wins in the turnover column by +2. 2)BYU out rushes Utah by +100 yards 3)BYU wins by at least 10 points. BYU is about to put on a clinic and dismantle that team up North piece by piece. You heard it hear first for some reason.
BYU is not going to walk in to Tempe and walk all over this ASU team in what is now a hostile stadium. Kenny Dillingham has his team believing they can beat anybody. They have one of the best running backs in the nation ,Sam Leavitt is maturing he is a dual threat to do it with a strong arm or his legs . BYU nearly got beat by OSU at home ASU went up to Stillwater and bullied OSU on their homecoming . BYU is the best team in the Big 12 .They will have to be at their best in Tempe to remain undefeated . Circle it ,should be a barn burner !
Don't really disagree with this assessment in general, but I became a lot less concerned about the OSU nail biter for BYU when I found out that A) it was a short week for BYU with the game on Friday, B) OSU didn't have same issue because they had a bye the week before, and C) OSU took advantage of the bye week to completely revamp their offense (including a QB change). As a result, the BYU defense wasn't really prepared for anything they were seeing for most of the game. BYU's biggest defensive problem for really the entire rest of the year has been not stopping their opponent as well once the score is already lopsided in BYU's favor. Even so, they have only allowed 3 teams to score more than 20 points against them (including OSU). I expect the ASU game to be a tough one, but don't take to much comfort from the OSU results against the two teams.
If ASU has fully healthy Runningbacks and they switch up their offense with a new running first QB right before the game the BYU hasn’t had time to prepare for on a short week then an OSU comparison makes sense.
You have been wrong all year about BYU. I’ve watched you pick against them all except one week. So you have been wrong along with all of the other prognosticators. You guys don’t see their culture and their secret sauce. They have no super duper stars, which means that they don’t rely upon any one player or any facet. I’ve watched all of the Big 12 teams play, and BYU is the most balanced and most solid team. BYU will beat ASU by two touchdowns.
Spencer look at the top 12 teams in this week’s AP poll. 4 SEC, 4 B1G, 1 B1G, 1ACC, 1 G5, ND. This lines up perfect with CFP expectations. I bet after the final CFP teams are selected, the howls will come from B12 & ACC fans for a 16 team CFP starting in 2026. Also they will want 2 guaranteed slots. They will point to B1G wanting 4 slots. SEC will say 4 for us too.
How about we get rid of voting altogether? This isn’t figure skating where we wait on judges to give us points for how well we looked. We have a scoreboard. How about every conference champion and maybe 3 or 4 wildcard spots for the best record runner ups? Nah, it makes too much sense for college football. We need it complicated and want decisions made by committees not scoreboards!
21:42 How many Mountain West teams are in the AP top 25? One. How many Big 12 teams are in the top 25? Four. Boise State IS a great team with a legit Heisman candidate and they almost beat the current #1 team on the road! That was an “almost”. How many top 25 wins does Boise State have on their resume? Zero. How many does BYU have? Two. Kansas St. has a narrow win over Colorado, and Colorado has 2 Heisman candidates! Would the winner of the Mountain West be ranked higher than the winner of the Big 12? Perhaps but this is NOT straight forward especially if you consider strength of record overall… GO BYU COUGS! & GO BIG 12!
Boise State has one top 25 win in Washington State as well as a RV win on the road at UNLV. Then you mentioned Oregon, and they also beat Georgia Southern on the road which is a potential Sun Belt champion. That is a better resume than every team in the Big12 except for BYU, but not by much.
“On the road” is a bit of an overstatement with BYU going to Utah. It’s a 30 minute drive, 40 mins with traffic. Yewts have been cashing in and selling their tickets left and right. Guess who is picking them up?
It's going to have more Utah fans than BYU fans, that counts for something
@@cr3070 it’s a 50 min drive without traffic actually..
Plus the U is probably the most hostile environment for BYU so yeah it definitely counts as on the road
And the hate continues. I get ASU being a game to be worried about. Let’s wait and do one game at a time.
SMU looks like a better team than Miami right now . Miami has a very good offense obviously but a terrible defense.
I'll put my money on BYU not Arizona.
How about a Boise St vs Washington St Rivalry in the Northwest? Someone said it will be the Snake river Rivalry lol
Works for me.
I think if byu wins out then they have a good chance at the 3 seed though
Marvelous weekend for my WSU Cougs 🐾

At night. In Provo. On SR night...that's a tuff game to win!...may be close but I think BYU pulls out that one...
Dude’s finally figured out how to get BYU fans to watch him!
Congrats Spencer. We’ll forgive all you said first half of the season!
:)

I submit to you that the SEC has been every bit as deserving of the appellation "the chaos conference" as the Big 12.
Boys, he didn't completely predict BYU would lose against Utah. I'm worried we might, now. Spence, please pick BYU to lose 24-20, so we can win.
Am I the only one that thinks 2 losses should keep you from the CFP unless they're both to top-10 teams? Top-15 teams at the worst?
Spencer, do not forget to mention rivalry without mentioning The HOLY WAR “ !!!
👍👍
I believe I did!
Did you take down last weeks prediction video yet?
Peddling sour grapes
A&M is awful. They just got blown out by an unranked team. The Big 12 is a gauntlet. The teams are beating each other up
As a cougar fan, I do think we’re gonna slip up against ASU. But counting on them handling their business against the rest.

@Crypt0rkid certainly .
Imagine this scenario. Iowa state loses next Saturday, Texas tech beats Colorado. Now the entire race is completely different lol.
Then it gets WILD because K-State and TTU are in the mix
You have Earned your anti byu rep. You have them losing every week. Outside of Wyoming and SIU, have you picked BYU to win once this year?
Well...that's a complicated answer
Officially, no
@ Well I guess if you pick them to lose every week, you will get it right once.
Why is all the talk about the Boise st being above the big xii champ. How many acc teams are ranked above Boise st 🤔
Just as likely in the ACC
I agree. Just haven’t heard it on games or people talk about it as much.
It's the Utes sour grapes wet dream
Miami is in top 4 rn, that's a bigger hurdle to get over
You forgot about duke vs north Carolina in the final four look up the rating of the game
True but it didn't feel like it was one sequence away from punches being thrown like it did way back when
😅 this guy should realize to milk byu fans on not believing in their team 😅
Boise might be ahead of all but BYU, but whoever wins that championship will earn its way back in front of Boise. Unless its a multi loss path.
Sour grapes I'll partake
You finally have BYU winning 😂
I DIDN'T SAY THAT YET
@ you said you don’t think chaos will be this Saturday for BYU 😂
Good show
Glad you enjoy!
I got Utah wining 70 to 0 Utah win
Salty spencer tears

And by the way, the SMU team that you are bragging about and saying could win the ACC lost to BYU just to remind you
Guys who’s gonna let @laddlish in on the secret?
@@laddlishit’s SMUs only loss. Which goes to tell you how good the SMU team is.

Does that mean there are no big 12 teams left?
The sec has 7 in the top 25!? Lol.hahaha overrated! So tired of the BS that they feed us!
8, actually

What is SOR in the context with BSU vs BYU though? What record would BYU have with BSU schedule? What record would BSU have with BYU's schedule?
