If it ever had any value. This whole thing is garbage. You don't take money and let your employer spit in your face. ESPN is already trying to kill you. You may as well be willing to die on yiur own dam terms.
Everyone’s obsession with “power” conferences is so stupid (I am a fan of a power team)… do you not realize that the majority of power teams are about as good as the mid tier mountain west teams? There are about 15 very strong power teams and the rest of them are avg or totally suck. Boise state is absolutely better than most schools in every power conference. So sick of this viewpoint. Indiana is a prime example with exception of this year. Total trash program that would have been bottom of any g5 conference since 1990. Same with most big ten and 12 teams.. acc sucks too
Not even if they beat them? Never is a strong word and really reminds me of the pansy declarations made be the SEC and B10 in the 2010 season, where they demanded - TCU nor BSU should ever be allowed to make a national championship game. Those teams btw had 4+ top 25 wins a piece including of the ACC Champ and B10 champ, both ranked top 4 in offense and both ranked top 2 in defense and both averaged a 30+ margin of victory per game. Most teams could not argue youd go undefeated with their schedule, but nobody could argue you would beat teams by as much as them week over week.
It's not even a legit question. Boise plays a G5 schedule. They actually moved up off wins against SDSU and Hawaii. Which is total garbage.Boise State isn't a top 20 at all with that schedule. If they got a by week and top 4 spot in the playoff, then the whole thing needs to coke down. And no you can't compare this Boise team to Cincinnati that made the playoff. Cincy was on a 2 year build up. Please explain to me how the Big 2 is planning 4 auto spots and playing each other more. The Big 12 and ACC are supposed to be weak because of weaker schedule. But a G5 will get a by in a playoff. This would make the entire 12 team playoff and future playoff a farse. Let alone strength of schedule will be an excuse to get a 2 and 3 loss SEC team in the playoffs. Let these lies form and burn the whole thing down.
Came down to literally the last play against #1 Oregon. Beat #20 WSU by 3 scores(who beat Tech by 3 scores). Beat UNLV (who is 2-0 vs the BIG12). Boise state also has an SOS right on par with all the BIG12 teams. Even forget all that and use the eye test. Boise State could win the BIG12 this year.
@itskeaton7249 Football math doesn't add, just because a team beats someone doesn't mean they would beat someone else. That's why the games are played.
Cincy only had a one-year buildup. Not really the word to use but two years back they didn't exactly light it up. The Big 12 looks extremely watered down compared to Big Ten. I don't know BSU could beat Oregon with a 2nd try. Nope on Ohio St. I'm not 100% sure even against Colorado. But in Big 12 they'd be a solid #2. Hell, close enough they might even be the #1. Isn't this the same tired argument against BSU over the past few decades and it never seems to hold water?

To hell with that garbage. And if I was the ACC and my top 2 took another loss or 2 and they tried to put a G5 ahead of my champion. I'd do the same thing as well. But the ACC has no nuts. If this narrative doesn't tell Big 12 leadership to go head first into Private Equity, nothing will. Relying on money from a trash network like ESPN is no longer worth the money. If it ever had any value. This whole thing is garbage. You don't take money and let your employer spit in your face. ESPN is already trying to kill you. You may as well be willing to die on yiur own dam terms.
Boise could be third... If Colorado and SMU win their conferences, Boise would probably finish above both of those champs.
A G5 should NEVER be allowed to top a P4 champion. That is insane.
cry harder
@MattBuild4 then everybody needs to be equal. No more conferences, just everyone on equal footing. One big happy communist conference.
@@itskeaton7249 I think Boise could beat any team in the Big 12 except for BYU.
@@stevewayne478 2020-21 Season 9-1. Only loss was to Georgia by 3. The playoff season was undefeated until the playoffs, with a win over a P5 school. And is had been well known before that Cincinnati had several draft picks on that team. None of that is true for Boise. And this Boise team isn't anywhere close to as good as that Cincinnati team was.
Whit all do respect they haven't beaten anybody in the conference let them actually play the schedule u can't base on thier conference what ever it is they have to be at karate OSU butt that's bosie always they in over rate then selves whit walking the walk
Am I having a stroke? What is this guy saying?
