This is one of my favorites of theirs. It’s so beautiful. Stunning set, stunning voices and that beatboxing is so cool. Love it! Have a wonderful Christmas!🥰😄
My favorite version. They made me think of the three kings, the poor shepherd and the little drummer boy in this video. Thank you for the Home Free reactions. I hope you have a wonderful holiday.
Home Free's production team has always been good, enjoying their jobs as only extended family can! The camaraderie among the members of this large family is one very important contribution to the success of this, my favorite, vocal band. Happy Christmas down there in Georgia!
That gorgeous Tim start just sets up the entire song. And, yes, I like that they don't 'show off' the lows that Tim can do just to show it off. Yes, Darren does a fantastic job with the mixer. He has been working with them since forever, and he knows their voices and abilities so well. He does a lot of the arrangements, too, but this one hasn't been credited to anyone, so it was probably a joint effort between Darren and HF - although I'd not be surprised to hear that Adam had a bigger part in it than just as a part of HF. For two guys who blend so well, Tim and Austin give a fantastic contrast, too. You should look up some of the stuff they did together outside of HF, like My Maria or What's it to You.
We have a mental “soundstage”. The amazing thing about HF is that they fill up our mental picture that we are expecting from instruments. It’s exceptional! Merry Christmas!
I love Home Free’s version and all their music but in this case I think theirs is second only to Voctave feat. Mark Lowry who wrote and sings the lyrics to this beautiful modern Christmas Carol like no other.
I totally agree with this statement ❤and they are are so ( for not being able to find another way of saying this ) clean and clear with the song. 🎵 I absolutely love Adam’s beatboxing style in this song also. Great job men. 😊❤. Thank y’all so much for your version of this song 🎵. 😊❤
Another great reaction. I have a suggestion which should help put names with faces and a must see for a reactor. Home Free's cover of Huey Lewis and the News Working for a Livin'. The guys also had fun making the video.
this arrangements is just so different than I've ever heard for this song, yet it's closer to the way Mark Lowry wrote this for his church choir about 30+ years ago now. I like the bluesy R & B sound. Chance took on the bass for this whole song, which he's awesome at doing when Tim goes for his tenor voice like here. They just dropped a new video yesterday, COLDER WEATHER, a cover of a very pretty Zac Broen Band song.....you get to hear Chance sing a solo part in that one.
Everybody knows *THAT* person who wears shorts in the wintertime. Lol It doesn't shock me in the least. 😉👍 I love Home Free's rendition of this beautiful song! I get serious goosebumps every time they hit that pause before "I AM". 😳❤
It is SO easy to forget Home Free is acapella. Adam Rupp's vocal percussion is incomparable. I love how Home Free keeps a lot of their video environments simple--allows the focus to be on the message and their incredible acapella vocals. Just amazing harmonies❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #HomeFree #HomeFreeDoesChristmasBest
Pentatonix has done this, as well. A big difference between the two is having a female voice in Pentatonix, and occasionally one of their members, Ken, plays cello in some releases.
Yes I loved the reaction to. But my eyes 👀 were fixed on you sorry not sorry 😂. I just kept thinking bulldogs and I was thinking LSU tigers 🐅 lmao. 😂😂😊🤷♂️ so I guess you know where I’m from. 😂 ya that’s right!!!! 😂. Really thank you so very much for your opinion on this group, they are all very talented and amazing. 🤩

Will do! Thanks for watching!

This is so very beautiful! When was singing higher rang Chance was singing bass. These guys never cease to amaze me. Love your reaction!

Home Free does such a beautiful rendition of this song better than any other I have heard 😊

Who would have thought this song with an R&B vibe would work so well. But, damn…it’s awesome.
I k ow right!
This is a definite NICE.
It is a great Christmas song, sung beautifully by our guys.
Very true!

HF tends to showcase the song using their vocal skills rather than using a song to showcase their vocal powers. Merry Christmas!
Well said! Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Great analysis. Very informative.
Glad you liked it! Thank you!
My fav version of this beautiful song
Based on my experience, Home Free doesn't try to impress as much as they work to provide beautiful harmonies!
Well said!
They just have such cool arrangements.
I agree!

Thank ya!

Kevin, the beatboxer sings in a sweet tenor voice too.
I tried to do a few Pentatonix reactions but I was unable to due to copyright. I enjoyed what I recorded for sure
