Brothers In Arms is a good one to check out. Tim Foust the bass singer is from Texas and he has a 5 octave range and I think it’s more than that😍Austin Brown the tenor is from Georgia that is why you hear that southern twang❤️❤️

This is really a beautiful arrangement and, as in all their music, they've given it their own special sound. It's so much fun to watch you discover the unique talent of these amazing vocal groups.
I believe Tim also recorded Country music prior to joining Home Free. I know I've seen videos, maybe on his personal RUclips channel, where he's singing with a band.
@@KrissiCreates He did, then we went away from it and swore he wan't going to go back to Country...but when trying out for the Sing Off, they submitted a country genre song, as well as others, and the producers approached them and asked them what they felt about being a "Country" acapella group...the ONLY country acapella group on the show...and that would almost guarantee them a spot on the show...and the rest is histroy. Home Free has always been my favorite, considering their harmonies to be more balanced, more mid-range parts to bridge the very lows and very highs of their arrangements. Those southern accents only warm up the musicality -- never a negative in my mind. So, I'm revisiting a few of your reactions from last year. Still enjoyable, thank you for loving this!
This my favorite acapella group. They respect the song and don't play it up with tricks. It is beauty incarnate. As far as not blocking, Austin-the high tenor- has taken the time to thank the reactors.
Beautiful song, made for these guys. Love the perfect harmonies of Home Free. The beginning of Tim is so beautiful. Someone once compared it to dark liquid chocolate, fantastic. It's also always fascinating how the guys can switch roles. Chance is great with his bass line. And Adam's beatboxing is out of this world. Great reaction, thanks!
Would love to see your reaction to "What Christmas Means To Me" by Home Free, it's the lighter side of Home Free. Home Free produces their own videos so there shouldn't be much of a problem doing reactions to them. Loved the expressions on your face as the song progressed! Home Free is professional and exacting in everything they do but have a certain approachability to them that endears them to all of us Home Fries. Adam Rupp's unbelievable beat boxing adds the finishing touch to every Home Free song, when he isn't beat boxing he sings also, depends on the song. Again, thank you for the beautiful reaction and a very Merry Christmas.

I see where someone posted a link to a video of one of Adam's "Drum Solos" from several years ago. This video was made at a show about 3 weeks ago - I was at this show (but I didn't make the video). As you can see he encountered some technical difficulties with the looping machine but just rolled with it. (BTW, I was in the "3" group. It was kinda funny because he said "Everyone say [series of Adam sounds] THREE.". We all hesitated for just a second, and then, just as if we'd rehearsed it, everyone said, "THREE" in unison- without the noises.) The video quality isn't all that great, but the audio is pretty good. ruclips.net/video/uPSetY8-Ly8/видео.html
Now that Christmas is over try Man of Constant Sorrow and the Butts Remix. Both awesome in their own way. And let's not forget How Great Thou Art and American Pie. And the one you were looking for is Adam doing a drum solo. It's live and much more than 30 seconds.
Hi Larry, What a wonderful version of this beautiful and special song!! I loved every detail and of course your reaction. Thank you for your work and dedication. Be well, be happy, take care of yourself. Big hug from Brazil.

Thanks for your kind words and comments, Vickie. I am SO sorry to hear about your husband. Please know that you are not alone. Praying for you, friend.
You could be a Pentafry, which are fans who love both Home free and PTX and I think they have good taste in music because both are great and you don't have to pit them against one another as many try to, it's ok to like them both,
Thank you for the reaction. Others have linked to Adam's "drum solo", even though it is older has great audio. If you can, please listen to their version of Auld Lang Syne. I call it my "warm blanket sitting by a fireplace" version! How Great Thou Art and Go Rest High on that Mountain are also amazing. With two from Minnesota, and the other 3 from Texas, Georgia and Alabama...yeah, some country undertones, lol. Thanks again Sir.
Great reaction, Larry I think your now officially a Home Fry. Home Free dropped 2 new Christmas songs in the last week and half. First an original CHRISTMAS AIN’T FOR THE LONELY and a Stevie Wonder cover WHAT CHRISTMAS MEANS TO ME. both are great. Adam Rupps drum solos ( there are few different version) all tend to be 7 to 9 minutes long and shows off more than just drum skills, prepare to be amazed. Your and your family have a Merry Christmas and God’s blessing for next year.
Fantastic reaction, as usual. Adam Rupp has several "drum solos", done during their concerts. You should watch the oldest one and then the newer ones. His talent goes from fantastic to out of this world, in terms of progression. This version is my absolute favorite. Instead of high voice versions , Home Free keeps it low and succinct. Melancholy is one way it could be construed. I feel like it's solemn and respectful. I hope you can react to their auld Lang syne video before New years eve. It's a beautiful rendition. 💞
Great reaction as usual. I love watching your face when someone surprises you! LOL I hope that you will react to Home Free's "When A Man Loves A Woman"-Austin really shines in that one, They really have a unique ability to touch your heart, your soul and your funnybone. They have a wonderful sense of humor and are not afraid to play.
amazed at how much this song has been done. I remember when it was brand new. One of the writers Jeff was so hopefully people would like it. It was written on a Gathier tour bus.
Well not much to say except there harmonies are just on piont 🤩 And yes Adam has a drum solo thats about 5 minutes long he just doesn't do drums does other stuff wish you would react he's in a league all by himself glad you enjoy them
Tim Foust is the one that, took the lead at the beginning. If you want to get a sample of his vocal range. Check out Snow Globe which, he cowrote with Keelan Donovan.
Thank you so much!! I was really hoping you would react to this gorgeous version! My father was a classical tenor, so I prefer the male voice, which is what puts Home Free above PTX for me, but both are amazing! PTX is signed to a big record label, so they really get blocked . Home Free has been independent for a while and have always humbly thanked reactors and Fans for the support , I don’t think they attempt to block much. I enjoy your channel and am so glad I found it. I hope you and your family have wonderful holidays!🤗❤️
I'm so glad you found Home Free's version of this song. I've had PTX's version and loved it for several years now and this year Home Free has gifted me with theirs. I can't choose between them. I love each of them the same, even though the approach is very different, as I'm sure you do also. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
@@larryshair Thanks again for responding. I've found that many of my favorite reviewers don't take the time to respond. Just want you to know I'm enjoying your "Christmas Journey" as much as you are.
Check out Snow Globe, an original by Home Free. Tim will blow your mind! And its another Christmas song! Tim Foust co-wrote Snow Globe with Keelan Donovan
Chris, you've become a new Home Fry! I'm proud of your open-mindedness! That's one thing about HF. They want their fans to enjoy their music and have actually stated they enjoy it when reactors chose their songs to react to! Good for them!
Thank you for reacting to this amazing version of this beautiful song! Adam & Chance put the icing on the cake! By the way, it is NOT Home Free that blocks the videos! The winding down of the beautiful Christmas music including all of the fun ones Home Free have is really sad to me. I've enjoyed every second of all the reactions especially the ones who appreciate these guys' incredible talent to make their songs so rich & full that you have to stop & realize there aren't any instruments backing them up! As for the "twang", Tim, Austin & Chance are all from the deep south! You might can take us Southerners out of the South, but you'll never take the South out of the Southerners!😊 Merry Christmas to all!
@ USMADGIRL That deserves a big AMEN! I'm proud of my country twang! Grew up about an hour from Austin's hometown in South Georgia and still live near there ( only I'm even farther south now than I was then at beautiful Lake Seminole. Farthest south county in Georgia (Seminole) Only I mile from the Chattahoochee River!
I had to watch this reaction again, because I want so much for you to appreciate the greatest vocal band- Home Free! Not the others you are always mentioning! I really like you and appreciate you so I’m so happy when you say how much you like to hear these guys!! ❤
Ah well, I made the mistake of checking your channel before calling it a night, so my yawns are my own fault! Infectious reaction, again, Chris - and, you have some good ears on you! My best wishes for you and yours for a happy and peaceful Yuletide, with plenty of music from your expanded playlist. Well, for after Christmas I would love some of Home Free’s fun videos, please. “Honey, I’m Good” is an all time favourite; just because it’s fun doesn’t mean they sacrifice any quality! - oh, no! And I’m sure some other Fry will point you towards the best video(s) of Adam’s beatboxing. 🥁🎄
Love your reaction, I’ve never noticed the fan doing anything lol. I guess I just watch your reactions I keep watching your reactions of Home Free over and over because you are not negative toward them. I hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas and you do more of Home Free.
Brother, you need to see their silly side. Home Free re;eased a cover of Stevie Wonder's 1967 hit "What Christmas means to me? It's upbeat R&B, and the guys just take it to another silliness level...but the music is GREAt...let the video run all the way to end, don't be too hasty to cut it off....you'll see what I mean. After Christmas, I gotta get you on a Chance led song or two...so you can really appreciate this man & all he does for Home Free
Yessss great reaction as always. Wow. Just wow is enough for that. Home Free slap me hard with this one. I can't choose between HF's and PTX's versions they are so strong in their own way but this...is beyond spectacular. I want to go see this group live. They were supposed to come in Montreal last September ( my hometown) but due to freaking covid I just don't know if they will ever come someday. I am in love with Adam the beatboxer. What he does is unbelievable. This group really surprised me because they master every genre of music. They are really good with RnB. Try " End of the road" Rob will slap you in the face. Really unexpected. Again I just love how blown away you always look at 10:58 10:47 is absolutely impressive by Tim. You look like a proud dad of his sons 😁.
One thing you will soon notice about Home Free is their commitment to social issues. After the holidays music has been explored I hope you take the time to listen to all the important things that Home Free addressed in their videos. Also, note how careful they are to fit the visuals to the lyrics and music. Wishing you a blessed Christmas season and all the best for 2022 and beyond.
It's like a Bach fugue only in vocal form, intricate, hypnotizing, and mesmerizing. The harmonies set the mood, the lyric tells you the story and the beat box gives you the currency to the message. Very much an ancient story relevant to the now.
So stunning! Beautiful. Gave me chills too. Their harmonies are tremendous. Adam killed the beatboxing and Chance with those low notes. Chance will fill in for Tim at bass when Tim is singing. Did you hear the growl at the end of “I am”? So good. Loved the video too, just a serene scene with the manger and the stars. If you get tired of Christmas music try Helplessly Hoping, One Man Band, I Can’t Outrun You, In the Blood, Country Roads. Some great songs. Loved your reaction. Have a wonderful Christmas. Oh forgot, Adam Rupp Drum Solo on RUclips (2015) about 7 minutes. It’s totally worth it.
The guy you called the lead singer and how he was ending his notes on the down side is Tim Foust is a basso profundo and yes he is country, from Southeast Texas. He has a 5+ range from A0 to not sure exactly how high! I'll check into that and get back to you! I do know that he sings tenor frequently. Check him out on this one in your private time " COME GO WITH ME " It's different and very special! Not Christmas but so fun and a real vibe!!! For Adam Rupp the beatboxer/vocal percussionist try his " ADAM RUPP LIVE SOLO IN CONCERT" Start with 2015/16 red flannel shirt then more recent apprx 2017/2019 to see his progression! Some Home Free official videos that shows some of his talent are "ELVIRA" Home Free ft The Oak Ridge Boy's " WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN" cover of Percy Sledge " TRY EVERYTHING" cover of Shakira " GOD BLESS THE USA " ft Lee Greenwood and the Singing Sargent's of the USAF " ONLY IN AMERICA " cover of Brooks and Dunn " MY COUNTRY TIS OF THEE " So very many! I'm sure the Home Fries will suggest more, I trust them!
@Cavamom O my goodness yes, you are so right on that! I don't think there is a more beautiful Tim song than that one. As far as beauty, romantic and making a lady weak in the knees that one has no comparison! Makes me cry everytime I hear it just from the beauty of his voice! Plus it shows his range and how flexible he slides up and down the music scale. I really love him and I know you do too! We are such Fousters! Along with so many other's!❤️☺️🤭
Really enjoyed your reaction! You are right about Home Free being pretty lenient in regards to copyright. I think there are a few landmines in their catalog but don't let that deter you! Hopefully you enjoy exploring this deep rabbit hole of a capella excellence!
Thank you for the reaction video It was very well done. Things to keep in mind: While Tim Foust, the bass, was singing, Adam Chance (Chance), the baritone/bass on the far left was carrying the bass the whole time. Adam Rupp, the beatboxer has a stage solo introduced by Tim. The whole solo performance is about 7 minutes long and you can do a reaction about it, mainly because we want to see your jaw drop. You can find it easily by typing in -----Adam Rupp drum solo. ----------It should be the first one that comes up in a red flannel shirt.
Loving your reactions. Home Free as always - wow! PTX version - fantastic. Now you MUST check out Voctave’s arrangement of Mary, Did You Know feat. Mark Lowry who wrote the lyrics. No beatboxer but simply incredible! Please, you will not be disappointed - guaranteed. 🎶🎄

You have to remember Austan and Tim their roots are in the southern gospel church and Chance is from Florida and Alabama with Rob and Adam from Michigan. These guys blend so well together.
Tim Foust (Basso Profundo) is from Gulf Coast Texas, Adam Chance (also bass and baritone (he's the bass in this song)) is from Alabama and Austin Brown (high tenor) is from Georgia. Adam Rupp (beat-boxer) and Rob Lundquist (tenor) are "those Yanks" from Minnesota.
Great reaction! Beautiful song! Everything that Home Free does is so good! Love them! But please react to Geoff Castallucci's Mele Kalikimaka. Its a christmas song and I think its such a nice song. Geoff is the bass in acappellagroup Voiceplay.
Great reaction as usual. I love your body language and facial expressions. Home Free has a comic side to them . Do yourself a favor and check out Full of Cheer, Grandma got ran over by a Reindeer. If you're done reacting to Christmas songs Butt Remix is good for a laugh. Adam Rupp does have many Drum Solos out they are not short probably around 5 mins or so. Tim Foust is the Bass/baritone/ tenor singer Tim is from South Texas, Chance back left is baritone/bass/tenor he has 4 octave range. Chanceis from Alabama, Rob glasses/beard lead Tenor. He's from Minnesota, Austin high tenor is from Georgia. Adam is from Minnesota. There is a live show of Tim's range In Morris Illinois singing Your Man . He blows out the speakers.
Home Free is very friendly to reactors. Check out Ain’t No Sunshine on Austin’s (Brown) personal channel. After the video fades to black he comes on and speaks directly to reactors. Chances are any problems that you’ve had have been on older recordings. They left a label and that company can be petty because of it.
Really enjoy your reactions!!! Love Home Free.....you need to react to their cover of THIS IS MY CHURCH!!! It is awesome!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
Watch Workin' for a Livin'. You will get a front seat to Adam's world-class harmonica rendition. Mind-boggling. You'll see another side to these boys, too.
Come Go With Me is the first release off of Tim Foust's own new Doo Wop album of the classics. Every song is all him, he did all vocal parts. The video is a full length song, not a teaser. You really need to watch as it is the perfect way to hear his range all in one song. I have always loved Doo Wop, he did an awesome job (of course).
So, you've discovered PTX and Home Free... but there's actually a trifecta of world class a capella groups, and the third leg is Voice Play. They are kind of the 'theater geeks' of the 3 groups. They recently released an incredible Wicked Medley, and before that an EPIC Hoist the Colours (from Pirates of the Caribbean). Many more great videos/songs, as well.

Adam Rupps drum solos ( there are few different version) all tend to be 7 to 9 minutes long and shows off more than just drum skills, prepare to be amazed. Your and your family have a Merry Christmas and God’s blessing for next year.
You as well, Eric!
I would like to see how you like Home Free - Beautiful Star of Bethlehem Ft. The Oak Ridge Boys and Jeffrey East
It's hard to pick just one recommendation when it comes to Home Free, because every single thing they do is amazing! You can never go wrong with them
Fantastic reaction, as usual.
Thanks Dawn!
Larry, u just have the most gentle voice.....i love it !!......i just can't see you getting mad and raising your voice.....LOL
WHAT!!!!??? Just kidding :)
When a man loves a woman is awesome too! Mayday; my church…. Any of them!!
Well not much to say except there harmonies are just on piont 🤩
And yes Adam has a drum solo thats about 5 minutes long he just doesn't do drums does other stuff wish you would react he's in a league all by himself glad you enjoy them
Tim Foust is the one that, took the lead at the beginning.
You too, Laura!
@@larryshair One of your best reactions brother! Well done, and that is just an amazing work of art that we call a song!
I'm so glad you found Home Free's version of this song. I've had PTX's version and loved it for several years now and this year Home Free has gifted me with theirs. I can't choose between them. I love each of them the same, even though the approach is very different, as I'm sure you do also. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
Thanks again, Tom!
@@larryshair Thanks again for responding. I've found that many of my favorite reviewers don't take the time to respond. Just want you to know I'm enjoying your "Christmas Journey" as much as you are.
This is the first time I've ever listened to this all the way through, right now, and just woah. I'm shook, really.
We so appreciate you bringing these great Christmas songs from all of these great artists.
Thanks bud!
Check out Snow Globe, an original by Home Free. Tim will blow your mind! And its another Christmas song! Tim Foust co-wrote Snow Globe with Keelan Donovan
I told it would give you chills!
Thank you, thank you, thank you....Now that strobe effect won't distract from your excellent reactions...
Chris, you've become a new Home Fry! I'm proud of your open-mindedness! That's one thing about HF. They want their fans to enjoy their music and have actually stated they enjoy it when reactors chose their songs to react to! Good for them!
That's so good to know! Thanks Carolina!
You too! Thanks!
You should really listen to their cover of CS&N Helplessly Hoping .They do it all vocal harmony , even the beat boxer harmonizes on this song.
I knew you would absolutely love this Home Free rendition as well. I can't get enough of these guys!
This gives me chill bumps
I had to watch this reaction again, because I want so much for you to appreciate the greatest vocal band- Home Free! Not the others you are always mentioning! I really like you and appreciate you so I’m so happy when you say how much you like to hear these guys!! ❤
Thanks so much!
😉
Home Free always hits a Home run! They are the BEST!!!!
Love your reaction, I’ve never noticed the fan doing anything lol. I guess I just watch your reactions I keep watching your reactions of Home Free over and over because you are not negative toward them. I hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas and you do more of Home Free.
Thank you Joy!
I never did notice your fan as I watch your videos and I watch you as well...you cutie...Carole !!!!!
😊 Thanks again, Carole!!!
Adam Rupp drum solo is one of the best! Worlds best beatboxer on the planet!!
Again I just love how blown away you always look at 10:58
10:47 is absolutely impressive by Tim. You look like a proud dad of his sons 😁.
lol, thanks Kay!!!
One thing you will soon notice about Home Free is
their commitment to social issues. After the holidays
music has been explored I hope you take the time to
listen to all the important things that Home Free addressed in their videos. Also, note how careful they
are to fit the visuals to the lyrics and music. Wishing you a blessed Christmas season and all the best for
2022 and beyond.
The guy you called the lead singer and how he was ending his notes on the down side is
Tim Foust is a basso profundo and yes he is country, from Southeast Texas. He has a 5+ range from A0 to not sure exactly how high! I'll check into that and get back to you! I do know that he sings tenor frequently. Check him out on this one in your private time
" COME GO WITH ME " It's different and very special! Not Christmas but so fun and a real vibe!!!
For Adam Rupp the beatboxer/vocal percussionist try his
" ADAM RUPP LIVE SOLO IN CONCERT" Start with 2015/16 red flannel shirt then more recent apprx 2017/2019 to see his progression!
Some Home Free official videos that shows some of his talent are
"ELVIRA" Home Free ft The Oak Ridge Boy's
" WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN" cover of Percy Sledge
" TRY EVERYTHING" cover of Shakira
" GOD BLESS THE USA " ft Lee Greenwood and the Singing Sargent's of the USAF
" ONLY IN AMERICA " cover of Brooks and Dunn
" MY COUNTRY TIS OF THEE "
So very many! I'm sure the Home Fries will suggest more, I trust them!
Thanks Louise for the list :)
Louise, my all time favorite Tim song is just him playing the piano and singing I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You. So, so beautiful.
@@louisetemples7011 Wish more would react to that one for us Foust Fantasizers. 💖😂
@@cavamom IKR? I don't get it at all! We just have to keep trying!!! Love the descriptive name for us " Foust Fantasizes"♥️
Tim Foust recently released an a cappella doo-wop single ‘Come Go with Me’ that showcases his range beautifully.
great reaction again, I enjoy watching your pleasure in the discovery! x
When Christmas is over, be sure to checkout their version of “Brothers In Arms”. It is both beautiful and unbelievable and so impactful.
Excellent! I love the arrangement, as well as your reaction. Looking forward to the next one.
So enjoyed your reaction. It’s great to see someone as excited and appreciative of them as we Home Fries are! merry Christmas 🎁🎄
Thanks, you too, Jill!
Cold chills!❤️🔥
June 5, 2022: So, in one evening I discovered James Blunt's Monsters, then you reacting to it . . . wherein you mention Home Free . . . which led me to Lee Greenwood and Pentatonix . . . and now this song for the first time ever wow TY . . . feels like that Christmas morning opening presents sensation . . . . these bodies of work will keep me occupied for many a moon
Sweet!
@@larryshair My Dad's name was Larry. : ) This is a wee TY gift. A former member of Pentatonix who released his first album 2 wks ago. You were the one who introduced them to me, so, here you go . . . Am speechless (too sublime to react to IMO plus, you're swamped) .... so, just E X P E R I E N C E : ruclips.net/video/AOL9QCyNBWQ/видео.html
You have to remember Austan and Tim their roots are in the southern gospel church and Chance is from Florida and Alabama with Rob and Adam from Michigan. These guys blend so well together.
(Rob and Adam are from Minnesota)
Great reaction, check out Tim's release of his single "Come go with me"
Nice reaction! I think Take Me Home Country Roads really showcases their phenomenal harmonies. Check it out after Christmas. 🎅
Outstanding!
Thanks 😉
Home Free is very friendly to reactors. Check out Ain’t No Sunshine on Austin’s (Brown) personal channel. After the video fades to black he comes on and speaks directly to reactors.
Chances are any problems that you’ve had have been on older recordings. They left a label and that company can be petty because of it.
Would love to know what you think of Home Free - Beautiful Star of Bethlehem Ft. The Oak Ridge Boys and Jeffrey East
Really enjoy your reactions!!! Love Home Free.....you need to react to their cover of THIS IS MY CHURCH!!! It is awesome!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
Thanks, you as well!
Home Free, Man of Constant Sorrow!
