We've put our names on a 19 foot semi off road trailer with a murphy bed and bunkhouse. The idea is to take out the bunks and put in a desk so my wife can work when we're camping. Should get it sometime in January.
This is exactly what I have been looking at doing. Which one you using? Makes me wonder who is going to make this a layout first.
We miss you guys! Been going through some of your videos. We hope that you folks are doing well. Stay safe!
Are y'all lovely people doing I got to say Heather happiest people I ever saying no matter if it's good or bad you make the best out of it and Jason your personality is wonderful you all are some beautiful hearted and loving people God bless you all
Thank you! 😊
Antoine you said that perfectly
I had to get rid of our 31-ft travel trailer after my husband passed away 5 years ago. There is no way I could have pulled it. Now that I have my head back above water 🤗 I am hoping to purchase a class c motorhome in the next year. Used of course LOL but it will be mine. Looking forward to getting back on the road again. Can't wait to hear about the next chapter. Stay safe ✌
I can't believe you sold the Airstream! I'm completely shocked to hear this.
Subscribed to JJ also!
I'm watching RUclips for the first time my name is Misty I am a expedited shipper for panther premium logistics and I really enjoy the video and I like the way that y'all get along thanks for posting and happy holidays
I have too much stuff. I have a problem getting rid of stuff. We down sized homes twice, but I still have all of the stuff 🙄. That is a gorgeous airstream. Do what you want! It’s only money...ya can’t take it with you.
My wife and I are downsizing. We just sold our 2200sqft home. Bought 3000sqft. Lol!. I have STUFF I can't get rid of.
We went from split level to a ranch with basement. And a second floor we have no use for.
We wanted 1 floor living as we get older. This became aware to us a few years ago when she broke her leg. Getting around the house was work.
@@robertcollins6170 i have a lot of antiques that Lost value, I just can’t sell them for less than I paid...I plan on selling all of it at once and then live full time in an rv. Some day...
@@janiceoldham1794 good luck.
I have the inheritance of three generations of" nobody wants this." I take it all. It's all personal. Furniture, handmade quilts. Old stuff you dont find anywhere. Then add in all of the new stuff that has come along.
If it's not broken, I can't throw it away. And even if it is broken I want to fix it. (Someday).
Thanks for keeping me company today on my birthday ...64yrs 8-Nov-1956...
Here in Georgia it's supposed to be against the law to ride in the left lane. It's for passing only. People make me mad when they go 55 or 60 in the fast lane and hold up traffic! Either speed up or get out of the way🙄
I hate it also I just lay on my horn and flash my high beams until they get into the right lane
I tried going 62 in my pickup ,and that seems to be it's happy place (best fuel mileage )
I can understand . If you don't use it no since having around. Sell it and let someone else enjoy it. We bought a new Rockwood Mini Lite this summer. It is set for two people and doesn't weigh anything. We both love to go camping and this trailer was a perfect fit for us. The dealer we bought ours from has had a terrible time getting new campers. They can't make them fast enough. With everything going on with the corona virus, camping is one thing you can do and have fun without being at risk. I look forward to see what the next step in your life is.
Congratulations you two! Homelessness is a state of mind. We sold our house two weeks ago. We’re living out of storage units too. Though we’re moving into our first expediter with a Bolt 130” come March 2021. Looking forward to your next big adventure.
Thanks & congrats to you all too! We’re very excited for you to start your new adventures 😊
Hope all is well
I appreciate the mimalistic lifestyle as well. You seem to have a good perspective on living.
Wow...you guys really surprised me, yet we are constantly evolving. I can't wait to see what you guys are up to. Stay safe
YIKES. Time does fly. I remember you shopping for the Airstream, getting the new truck and stuff. Even earlier in your last expediting truck. If I was younger, I'd have bought it. But I'm not getting younger....Humm.
Just found you. My dad drove for Marten trucking. I did security at freight yards in the Seattle/Tacoma/Auburn, area. My girlfriend's son just got a trucking job. It was exciting to see your Crafty Condo. Will see if I can come up with a cute poem for you guys one of these days. Guess I'll subscribe to see how y0u do. What a hoot to see your rig. I worked for State dept. in Alaska that had Weights & Measures with one part of the office and the Trucking regulator in the other. That was interesting up to a point. Was thrilled to hear about the routing feature in the cell phones that my girl friend's son will get to use to avoid routes that forbid bid rigs. Looking forward to your next video.
NO. No. 😢😢😢 My heart is broken, I loved that dream combo, Van and minimal living is the way to go. I am still upset. 😂Whatever you buy just make sure you use it . Life is to short. Stay safe. ✌🧡🚚
We knew you’d be sad Wayne but we are excited for our next adventure. Love ya! 💗
Arizona and homeless is my plan in one year I'll be retiring and living in a RV permanently I can definitely see y'all doing that in the future safe and happy travels 😜😃🌵🌲👣🐾🐾👣👍✌️
They got lots/land in Arizona for $150 a month...all you gotta bring is your RV and u good.
@@jowyjozef You can camp for a year at a reservation for that price.
@@stu3775 I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know. I'ma keep that in mind. 🤝😎 Can one bring an RV and a family to stay at a reservation?
@@jowyjozef Yes. The youtube channel 'cheap rv living' has the details.
@@stu3775 Thanks🙏😎
Now this is my kinda lifestyle. I miss big truckin' with my hubby. He drove to Heaven and left me behind.
I'm excited to see the next chapter! I cut the cable and watch real people now. FK CONcast
You already own a big truck, all you need now is a smaller 5th wheel camper trailer that you can hook it up to.
:)
Chillin 62 mph in the right lane is my go to anti anxiety dose. More drivers should try it out. It works.
Sad for you not to use the Airstream. We all knew how much you liked both the super duty and Airstream
I was thinking, with you selling both your trailer AND your Super Duty, you were going to be hinting on a Cascadia RV!!!...LoL.
Out here in maine there is a lot of loggers when i see tham be hind me i go faster or move over so thay can make hills
Oh man......what a shocker!!! And, how am I supposed to go to sleep now without knowing what's new??? You guys are always full of surprises!!
Years ago my dad bought a Airstream and traded it in on a bigger one five years later. The dealer gave him the same price that he had paid for the smaller one five years earlier. They do hold their value
We sold our house while you were on vacation, and we bought a way smaller home, we downsized, didn’t need a big house anymore, and the neighborhood was getting shitty, no parking, noise, etc, moved to a better area with a huge back yard, so quiet up here, we love it, or dogs love the fenced in back yard, so much better, we couldn’t be happier! We lost $ but who cares we got exactly what we wanted!! I couldn’t afford a RV so we bought a Dodge Grand Caravan, so versatile and I sleep in the van @ the campground, no more tents for me, you just fold down the seats into the storage and get an air bed and sleep on that. For several reasons I haven’t been camping in a few years, going next April and October, and I’m going to purchase one of your shirts after Xmas! Happy trails!!
Congrats on your new home! We did a 2 week road trip before we got into trucking in a 4Runner & did the same thing folded down the seats and had an air mattress we camped out in it. Was such a fun trip.
@@TheCraftyTrucker Thanks y’all !!
My wife and I have been discussing what you are getting. She thinks a class c diesel like a Winnebago Navion and I think a Super C diesel. We love following you guys and have learned so much. Wishing you good health and fair weather.
Oh yeah we always go 62 in our fifth wheel RV. It makes for much less stressful drive.
Thank you. Hint hint it’s a Mercedes 😁
Oh boy, it’s going to be so much fun! Looking forward to the reveal!
Sounds like you are looking at a Class B RV ? I Love mine has everything you need and more... and I bought slightly used older Ford High Top it is worth a lot more than I have into it and has been great using it for the last few years
See you down the road
Sure looks like YOU packed up everything in the Airstream and he watched you do it!! Lol. Can’t wait to see your “ future”! Stay safe
We agree with your going 62 mph and letting everyone go by. Our school bus will only do 58 mph downhill with a wind at our back. It was definitely a learning curve. Now it's like we're retired, go around us. Safe travels! We are always looking for your rig when we are traveling. My wife says that we have better odds of winning the lottery than running into you guys. Oh and I just realized, we don't play the lottery. 😊
I hate climbing a mountain then a driver wants to pull a "20 mile pass" at .5mph faster than the truck in front of him in the climb lane, if I'm not able to pass another truck in just a few seconds I'll adjust my speed and just stay in line
I drive 62 all the time! Except in the mountains, I have to turn it on up to get momentum to get up the next hill!
I really liked that airstream . Can't wait to see what's next :) comming soon...the pop up tent in the back of the Ford 😉😃
I moved too and I have to clean out 2 more rooms in my mobile home. I now am in a small apartment and miss all the windows and the large spaces I once enjoyed, On the other hand, I like the coziness of a smaller place. May God bless you on your travels and hope all goes well with you.
Came across your channel while just strolling through RUclips and I am absolutely loving your vids. I am a trucker from Scotland 🏴. Looking forward to watching you more in the future 👍👍👍
Awesome sugar skulls Heather. As for the Airstream Always do whats best for you guys. Thats what I admire about both of you, Always in the pursuit of happiness. And sharing it with us. Always a pleasure seeing the next video. Stay Safe and Healthy my Excellent Friends 🤗✌❤🚚🐶🐶
Now for the next adventure! We have a larger RV but want a smaller one, but at our age Holiday Inn is too convenient!
Don't worry Heather I am a bit of a hoarder, but I am taking the plunge and getting rid of stuff that I am not using. I fully understand why you and Jason are selling the Airstream, to me it makes perfect sense. Good Luck with your next chapter !!
You're good at keeping secrets! but the clue of trading in the truck means my first guess would be wrong. (Smaller travel trailer) So now I am guessing a Class B, but a class A would be an awesome choice too. or one of those Mercedes things that has all the bells and whistles. I saw one on a RUclips video where the couple could leave their pup inside and the vehicle would temp control without worry (like the crafty condo) except it monitored it's own batteries and would start the motor (on it's own) if needed to protect systems. Plus an interior video monitoring system they could check on their pup with their phone. It would keep it's value too(Mercedes). A class b or a would not. Health and Happiness
I m very glàde to see you on the wed I would like to gone with you out there as a trucker.Imgatm.
You have everything in that truck.
Save money. Get something else when you retire.
Good Luck.
My friends and I have a sweepstake on what you get next. With the truck going, I think you’re going Class C or B+. James thinks a vintage Chevy Custom, Kelly says a short Class A. We’re all off to Matt’s RV reviews to look around.
Totally agree with the speed limit 100per
hello beloved. Of course, it's a little sad that you sold your beautiful truck. It was always comfortable for us to do this difficult job with you in a beautiful truck. You have always looked after it and kept it as neat as possible and took care of its safety. Now we have turned over this page of history and open a new page. Life does not stand still. Please continue filming RUclips videos. You do it very well and talentedly. Thanks a lot for your work. Now, into a new life for new dreams ... and we are with you (wink) Peace, love, kisses Red beard and Lady Angel. Kissing
It is nice to see that you practice the "Golden Rule", "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." You are so considerate to do such a great job to not only clean it, but also to put back the original bed linen and decor. Most people would just take out their stuff and say good riddance. I have watched you for a few months and that is the one thing that I have noticed about you all, you treat people the way you want to be treated. You all stay safe out there! I hope everything goes great with your next adventure.
Thanks so much!
Selling the Airstream and downsizing from the super duty almost seems like maybe y’all are getting a tiny house or a tear drop type trailer or I’m thinking a motor coach!! Guess we’ll have to wait and see
Just saw your video and must say I enjoyed it, layed back people. And don’t worry your not the only ones that like running 62mph
Thank you for the video. Have a blessed day.
Happy early thanksgiving to you. Hope you have a great holiday
@@TheCraftyTrucker Happy Thanksgiving to you also. Our family canceled Thanksgiving gathering. It will be a quiet one.
It will be a whole new world come next year. Kind of hard to plan for anything. Best of luck to everyone!
Lol, I love driving 62 so I can be the ass that makes the 65 guy pull out in front of the 75 guy!!
In Arizona they passed a law several years ago for people who love to camp out in the left lane preventing or making passing in that lane hard to do. DPS Troopers will write you a ticket for 80 mph too. Mainly because of the risk of crashing at those speeds. 75 mph doesn't give you a 5 mph bump thinking you won't be getting a ticket. It just increases your chances.
We have a 38 foot Jayco 5th wheel. Have towed it to Puerto Vallarta the last 5 years. 5th wheels are nice but they are getting too big. I think the optimal size would be in the 30 foot size. We have got a ton of use out of ours.
Great to see you guys! Haven't watched a video for a long time. Have been super busy with my jewelry biz! Stay safe out there!
Life is good to y'all right now!!! Be safe. TTYL
Hi Jason & Heather! Great video, congratulations on the sale I can't wait till the next chapter starts!! Peace, Love, & Expediting!!
I can see a bigger sleeper in the near future-that’s were you spend all your time & be a little more comfortable on the road-Kevin 💙💙💙
My week is never complete without my Crafty Trucker episode. Thanks for all the time and effort you put in for your fans. I’m gonna make a prediction on your next move. Class A Diesel pusher and trade the Super for a toad to pull. Be safe.
Hi Guys when you have a beautiful truck like your truck you will never be homeless you will always have a home becauce home is where your heart is nice video
Refers don't regen. They rev up if you make a big change in temperature 🌡
Good to know thanks for the clarification
You all are hard working folks, so when ya wanna do it..... Be happy
I bet you're getting a Class B Plus. Jason is just like my brother; always something new in the works lol
Mmmmm... I sense a Class A diesel pusher RV in the works!!! lol
The wife and I are doing the same thing with our RV, just waiting on title as well. Same type of sale as well. Gonna pack this week. Gil
So kids, pardon me but you stay with Crafts mother when you are in Waco? Cool and I’m sure she loves having family with her! I’m excited for your upcoming “surprise”!
GOOG LUCK ON YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE
Do I see an expedition style vehicle in your future? I haven’t got the blizzard blankets out yet, dealing with contractors, footers, sewer line, building permits, Peterbilt not sending the correct parts, the repair shop and drinking a few cold beers and grilling. I try to do almost all of the cooking when I’m home as my wife has been working her butt off, 5 12 hour shifts and an 8 hour shift every week for months, it’s a good thing she likes my cooking. I’m excited to see what y’all are getting next, we are working on redoing the interior on our RV, hopefully ready by next summer. Y’all be safe and happy expediting!
No worries!! Sounds like you have a lot on your plate 😉 You can beat a cold beer & some good grilling.
I live out of my truck. I wish I had yours lol but I can't find a team driver. The refers dont regen, when the RPM's go up its defrosting. It happens allot when we have frozen loads.
Its not an easy life. But I understand why. I practically do the same since I'm only home 3 days out of the month. Much respect.
Same here we want to sell our RV also it's listed now for sale. We always be on the road not using alot and paying the RV park. Now its in storage way cheaper in RV Park monthly. We are homeless too staying in the van
Homeless with a fuel card 🤣 40 year's..I miss The road..retried April 2018.. Love your Chanel..Be Safe... Magic Man...
Hahahaha good one. Hope retirement is treating you good
Hi guys, wow you guys sound like my story. While I was married to my wife Amie we had Fords always rode ruff but when I loaded it with my campers it rode like a Chevy or GMC unloaded, like a dream. When my wife died 20 years ago every year we we use to go to Dodger Stadium Motor Home Shows in October. But everything we looked at was either to small or to pricey. The Moto Home we liked was a Lazy Daze made in Pomona Ca. But once again to pricey, so we began to save but we found our first dream houseAfter all a. Motor home is just a hole on the road that you put money into. Anyway we put our savings into a home in Tujunga Ca. It was described to us a Mother in law unit. It work perfectly for us as my Mother came to live with us. So we all lived there for about 9 years. Then Amie got a stroke level 5 and never returned home. She died about a year later and Mom moved to a rest.home. I sold the house and bought a used Lazy Daze Motor Home and took it on a few trips. Not having Amie with me it just was fun anymore, so I got a good price for it and I sold it. Two years ago I got a stroke and now I am in an Assisted Care Facility in Arcadia Ca. Where I say the Rosary and watch the mass everyday and I waiting for Jesus Christ my Savior to call me home. But I am very Happy and have time to read the Bible. Amen!!!
You have to check the poop and sometimes might see tapeworms.
Your going to get a Colman tent trailer. That's as small and minimalized as you can get! ;-)
Lol
Happiest couple on RUclips. I want you as my neighbors, even if I have to follow you around the country.
Lol lots of miles to keep up
we are toy hauler people for the Harley and side by side to come. We love your nomadic gypsy life. reminds of us.
Exciting times!
Look I with you do what makes yall happy.
I enjoy yall.
God bless y'all
Amen, my coach (25 tons) will go the speed limit 😁. People cut me off and if I wasn’t paying attention they be meeting Saint Peter.
I really enjoyed this video y’all stay blessed and be safe out there!!
Hi Crafties! The rule in the EU is no traveling in the left lane at all, overtaking only. If three lane, anything with a railer is banned from the left lane,
That is exciting for y’all I have been so beyond on the videos and updates so that is going to be amazing love it
We love our 25 airstream
All the toys are useless if you can't use them ,i am in the same boat ,good move 👍btw just get a sprinter
I just sold my scamp 19 fifth wheel. The market is soooo high right now I could not afford to keep it.
you both are very nice people who care for others keep safe
Congratulations! Best wishes to both of you. I can't wait to see what's next!!
Thanks Nancy!
I'm going to venture to guess the next one will be an International Super C
Im guessing yall are getting a small motorhome. Good luck on whatever yall have planned.
Thats because yall are a good dog owner
That's the only problem in your line of work if you sell anything trying to get loads to get you near home to sort it out. Good luck with your new venture what ever it is 🇺🇸🇬🇧🚚😷👍
Hey, I just watched your video for the first time and I hit the subscribe button. I love your both enthusiasm and life. Thanks for sharing
Nice to have you along welcome thank you so much
Awesome may y’all get what you love have a great time prayers
Thank you Cindy!
Jason you should replace the ford with a Prius LoL
🤣
Smell a new expediter with a bigger super sleeper
Oh man, I bet its a custom Volkswagon campertop Vanagan! :) Nah, probably a class C with a 2021 bronco on a hitch.....well maybe a class C toy hauler with a side by side in the back and a 2021 Bronco on a hitch....they did like that side by side! Be safe, have fun!
I think it's SMART to get your overhead Down.. it's a Way of Life.. The Truck is The house... that's a FACT .. that's The way in it is... ACCEPT that that...
I knew something was up. Stay safe.
I drove truck over 42 years I own a house vehicles but when you get right down to it I was homeless ,96 percent of my time was spent in the truck traveling ,I'm retired now and it sux I'd rather be homeless
Great video yall
