The thing is, the sauna man MIGHT not be completely off base with having to have experienced it to make the best art, but there is no fucking reason for it to have to be a group session. Also the towel fungus part is hilariously stupid.
Of course! Having a first hand experience is always helpful for writing, but there's absolutely no reason for it to be a work-related experience. Also, it's quite predatory, imo, to reach out to someone after they've just lost their job, and be like "hey I've got a job offer for you, wanna get naked sometimes?" Pretty scummy behavior.
