      Hi i’m not sure what you mean by freelance, but almost everybody who works with cloud resources can work and will work remotely.
      You can probably be a freelancer, especially if you work is not with resources that are classified, or require a security clearance. If you are good at what you do, you can even work for cash, helping other engineer with the workload in your spare time.
      You know what I’m saying? Someone who’s got a high-end IT job in the cloud can pay you cash to offload some work to you, like outsourcing, especially if they hold multiple part-time jobs, and they simply don’t have time to cover all the bases.

      1. Take IT related courses
      2. Make sure these courses help you with securing a job (they can help you with showing experience, getting certificates, etc…
      3. Build network of people who work in IT (create it related LinkedIn and start communicating with IT engineers)
      4. Find people who can actively help you when you’re in IT job market.
      Hope this helps,

Course in person will serve multiple purposes; you will meet teachers that can help you in the future (when you are in your profession field, or go through the interview process, and other students can help you with references, studying, being motivated, etc… Just start working on it and be consistent.

      I know a pretty inexpensive IT course for Analytics Engineer/SQL Developer, and some other courses with discounted price. So it's all about you finding time to study and get ready for the job market. Let me know if you need this info

    • @juliomiranda2131
      @juliomiranda2131 Год назад +1

      @infotek247 I think you misunderstood me. I saw your video and saw how you started at a support role to get to where you are. I am currently a refinery operator in texas. I make 6 figures. The work life balance can really suck and we are treated like second class citizens a lot of the times. But due to my pay I was saying that it would be hard for me to leave my job for a support role and take potentially a 50% paycut. I would gladly take the info for the course if you feel it will help.

      @@juliomiranda2131 I was talking about database support/Cloud Engineer, my starting salary was $120K a year plus benefits with AWS. Ummm not sure which IT profession you're interested in.. And I know courses in VA and MD., but most IT jobs pay very well. you can start by looking for IT classes in Texas, I suggest you go to actual class locally instead of taking it online. You'll be more involved in the process and meet people that want to start working in IT. Look for "Analytics Engineer, DBA, SQL Developer courses in your area. These jobs pay well and most of them offer remote positions! Good luck!

I worked for this company for 3 years and 8 months, work with AWS resources but now, the work is being drain because of economic recession, there is less contract from customer than before (my company is an outsourcing company). I'm seeking for an other job and continue learning new technology, try to gain some certificate. • @infotek247
      @infotek247  2 дня назад +2

      Hi, unfortunately, I won’t have time to coach people personally, however, a couple of suggestions would be:
      1. Try to switch from outsourcing company to something stable, for that you will need to determine what position you want to work as., here is a video on different IT job titles with description and pay:
      ruclips.net/video/tubKAURafFY/видео.htmlsi=Mt32qA6qTd1rRltp
      2. To get rid of the fear of the interview, you need to start preparing yourself, even though you have good experience behind you. Going through job market is a job itself, and you need to be prepared. The fear will disappear once you start practicing every day. Here is a couple of on how to deal with interviews in IT:
      ruclips.net/video/iN5qGre4toY/видео.htmlsi=etaFcY1k8MywA3KR

      some of the courses help you in providing proof of work for a couple of years. The reason no recruiter is contacting you is that you need to show at least 4-5 years of experience, otherwise no one wants to work with you. Find a company that can give you proof that you worked pro=bono or something. Teachers at some courses know what to do, just find these people to help you. Good luck!
